'I quit.'

I swore softly under my breath as I glanced over the piece of paper taped on the inner set of doors when I walked in to relieve night shift security today. I opened the doors a little more forcefully than necessary and stomped into the building. Stupid bastard couldn't even make it two nights before quitting so we had no one to watch this place tonight.

The hallway was dark this early in the morning and smelled like burnt pizza, today was worse than the last few days which probably meant are newest quitter helped himself to a free pizza last night before running off. I'll have to write a report for that along with how I'll be far too busy to cover the night shift tonight and how they'll need find someone if they want someone to watch this place tonight.

I turned a corner to find the chicken animatronic standing outside the kitchen door trying to get it open again. It would have gotten in there had it not been for the new padlock I had screwed there a few days ago. I chuckled at the sight as the stupid robot continued to try and open the door, I was getting pretty tired of opening that stupid bird up to scoop cheese and crumbs out of it everyday from it's nightly raids of the leftover pizza left in the kitchen that's left for the night shift if they got there early enough.

Well the chicken isn't going anywhere so I might as well go find where that rabbit went. I walked by the stage, no longer creeped out by the bear that would stare at me as I passed by. That one rarely ever left the stage, most of the time it just stood there and stared at me or looked at the camera during the nights. I continued on to where they keep the pirate and about jumped out of my skin when I saw the rabbit standing there.

It wasn't the fact the rabbit was in here. It was just standing there and looking at the stage, no what scared me was when it turned to me and brought a single finger up to its mouth.

"Shhhhh. I think he's hiding" I have never seen one of them do that before. I swallowed and gave a grin and tried to muster up as much cheeriness as I could. "Come on Bonnie we need to go back to the stage and get ready to put on a show for the kids today!" the robot seem to stand up a little straighter at this and nodded and started back towards the stage.

Creepiest fucking robots ever.

I heard a rustling sound and looked over in time to see the fox peek out from the curtains. I gave him a smile and a wave before quickly shuffling off to the dining room as quickly as I could. Something about that fox always made my skin crawl. All of the animatronics freaked me out at some point.

Alright time to go get that stupid bird.

He was out there again last night. I peeked out a few times to check and see if he was really there. "Come out and play" he would urge; I couldn't. I don't know why he still tries to get me to come out and play with the man that comes to keep us company at night. He even left a few times to to go and check on him, it was time for me to be alone. I like being alone, when its quiet. I liked it when the children would come and visit me, they would cheer and smile when I would come out to play with them. I would sing, I would dance, I would tell the little ones stories of me and my friends, I would wave goodbye to them and then it would get quiet again.

I don't know where the children have been lately, its been quiet here. I'm a little worried for them but I can hear them sometimes. They don't visit me anymore, but he does.

"Come out come out, come out to play, the children are gone it's are time to play" He's there again, Why won't he leave? "Why play with me?" he would try to smile and say "because your my friend now come out to play. You must be lonely in there all by yourself" I am but I'm not ready, not yet.

"Freddy I'm hungry" Chica blurted out out loud. "Why are you bothering me with this? If your hungry go get some pizza" Chica turned to the animatronic bear and stiffened "thats a good idea!" as Chica turned away to walk to the kitchen Freddy gave a sound similar to a groan. "The door is just gonna be locked again, I don't know why she even tries" Freddy tried to turn to Bonnie but something within gave a hash rasping of metal on metal before he stopped. "Are you gonna go see him again?" Bonnie turned towards Freddy with much more ease and nodded. "I sure am. He may want to play tonight" Freddy snorted "he hasn't wanted to play in years, I really don't know why you still bother" Bonnie's jaw worked a few times silently, it was worked out a long time ago that was the way that Bonnie or Chica were trying to smile. "Because he's my friend" That was all Bonnie said before slowly walking off towards pirate cove for the night.

"Come out to play" He's here again. I don't feel the eyes on me, it's rare that I don't feel like someone scary is watching me. Just him out there again. "What do you want to play?" He goes quiet for a bit before saying "lets play hide and seek!" I peeked out from the curtains "We always play hide and seek. Lets try something else" he brought a hand up to his head and rubbed behind an ear "what do you wanna play?" I folded my ears and tucked myself behind the curtain a bit more. "How about we go for a walk?" He nodded his head and I walked out slowly, stiffly, he stood there waiting for me like he always did. "Shall we?" he held his hand out and tried to smile again. "I'd like that" I'd like that very much.
