Chapter two is finally up, enjoy. On another note FAIRY TAIL IS FINALLY BACK I AM SO PUMPED I CAN'T TAKE IT AH. So excited. I just watched the first episode of season three, and not gonna lie, Natsu saying that Happy was Happy-napped was pretty funny. Please go watch it the new episode is finally here.
Gildarts gave a grunt as he held back the transformed teens massive tail, the ground cratering under him as he did so. e looked at the eyes of the once white haired teen, "Seriously, how much power do you pack? It feels like I'm gonna shake apart." he stated as he then hefted the by overhead where he crashed into the earth. He cracked his neck, "Alright, it's time to finish this. "Crushing Evil, Spreading Truth: Absolute Heaven" TAKE THIS!" he bellowed out as Gildarts hits his opponent across the face with a very powerful strike imbued with Crush causing a powerful explosion upon impact. The earth shakes as a cloud of dust expands from the impact of the strike of one of the most powerful men alive.
However if Gildarts thought the fight was over, he was sorely mistaken. Naruto drew his head back and gave a roar as he begun to gather magic in his jaws. Releasing a burning orb into the sky everyone watched as the ball suddenly exploded and it begun to rain large quantities of fireballs down on the village creating a large series of explosions as each crashed to the earth. Gildarts watched with wide eyes as the balls of flame caused massive amounts of damage, and with such ease too. Mirajane gasped, "So powerful." as she watched the technique unfold right in front of her eyes.
Elfman nodded in agreement, "And so widespread too.." he stated.
Lisanna whimpered, "Just how much range did that technique have? It nearly encompassed the entire village." she said frightened out of her mind.
Gildarts shook his head and leaped at the transformed teen and gave a powerful strike to the face once more before he kicked off and landed a fair distance away. Suddenly another loud roar shook the heavens drawing everybody's attention. Gildarts couldn't help but groan, "Another one, seriously?" he asked himself.
Mira gawked at the newcomer, "Oh no... we're doomed. Nii-sama was bad enough on his rampage, but another dragon is asking for too much." she said.
Elfman sniffled in fright, eleven he may be but this was out of his league, at the sight. Gildarts took this as is cue to get out. He knew the legends of ancient creatures coming in a middle ground to clash, the battles left the world itself barren and scarred for eternity. He ran to the trio of kids, "Come on we need to be going." he told them as he grabbed Lisanna.
She looked to the man, "But what about Naru-Nii?" she asked him.
Gildarts took a deep breath, "Pray he survives and comes back to his senses." he answered her as he then begun to leave with Mirajane and Elfman following behind. It was at this time the second dragon descended to the earth with a growl. It drew its arms back and out of the thin air several bright blue orbs appeared before they crashed into the earth kicking up a large cloud of dust where the beams made their way towards Naruto and connected causing a large explosion.
Lisanna felt her heart skip a beat, "Nii-San!" she exclaimed.
However her worry wasn't warranted as Naruto gave a bellow, his body glowing as he surged his magic through his new body forcing the cloud of dust to dissipate. Suddenly Naruto slammed one of his hands on the ground and large ruby pillars burst from the ground as they made their way towards the second dragon. One managed to strike the dragon in the gut and in a surprising turn, it detonated with a powerful explosion that shook the earth around him. The sheer power of the winds that come from the explosion knocked nearly all the trees within a seven hundred yard radius. Gildarts crashed into the ground doing his best to shield the children from harm.
When the winds died down Gildarts turned back and watched as the new dragon crashed into the ground as it landed on its back. When the dust settled it was a much better look then he expected. The dragon seems to have thick, armored scales, with hints of amber or gold in the under-scales, which are the most obvious in the sunlight. The beasts' nostrils are located on the top of the snout on a large, flat head so that it can lay submerged in mud for long periods of time. Its eyes can be described as golden amber with yellow rings around the pupils. It also seems to have a strong, sturdy, muscular body structure, and closely resembles a alligator.
The dragon seemingly shook off the strike with no effort on its half, which made Gildarts nervous, as it stalked towards Naruto. Overhead the clouds begin to gater as the two beasts fought. However, Naruto wasn't done as he gave a roar and spat out several orbs of red energy from his mouth that raced towards the new dragon. The brown dragon gave a growl before a large slab of mud rose from the river and blocked the attack from Naruto causing a large explosion that made wind blow harder from the clash. A large dome of energy erupted from where the balls of fire clashed with the mud wall and expanded out with astounding speeds.
Gildarts turned away and covered the bodies of the Strauss siblings as he was battered once more by the powerful winds. Opting to stay quiet they could only watch as the battle continued. However, from distant areas across the land the small clash had indeed been seen as a blue flash of light erupted from the bout between dragon's that could be seen for hundreds of miles in every direction. People seeing the light could only feel worry due to the sight having been unexpected. When the light died down Gildarts had to hold back a gasp as he saw Naruto encased in a block of what appeared to be ice, but from sight alone he could tell he had stuck himself in a case of diamonds.
The diamonds cracked and broke away as Naruto gave yet another roar as he freed himself. Half the ground around the two dragon's was changed drastically. One half had been turned into crystal while the other was flooded by mud. These two creatures were absolute monster's. The brown dragon gave a growl and slung some mud at Naruto, only form him to roar as he drew his head back, flecks of green light surrounded him before he released the energy from his jaws which upon impact split the wave and struck a mountain before it exploded taking the top of the mountain off.
The brown dragon flapped its wings and launched itself into the air as it raced at Naruto. However said Strauss wouldn't have it and once more summoned the explosive ruby pillars forcing it away from him. A surprisingly large one appeared in front of it, only for it to burst apart and explode seconds later as the dragon passed by and looked at Naruto. Not saying anything the red crystal dragon forced yet another ruby crystal up from the earth and impact the brown dragon once more as it exploded. Naruto walked over to the dragon and grabbed it by the back of the neck and base of the tail before he slung the brown dragon across the clearing.
Drawing his head back once more Naruto released another beam of green magic causing a massive explosion as he released it directly on his foe causing the ground to explode one again. Not stopping Naruto opened his mouth widely and expelled a trifecta of red orbs from is mouth that crashed into the opposing dragon which resulted in a massive explosion. Gildarts and the three younger Strauss Siblings grunted as they were battered by fierce winds created by Naruto. The Ace of Fairy Tail looked to Mirajane, "Just how much Magic power does that brother of yours got?" he questioned her.
She shrugged her shoulder's, "I don't know, but I'm starting to think he has near unlimited. Those attacks would have dropped a whole guild of wizards in one fell swoop from the amount of magic contained in them." she said as she covered her face. However when the winds managed to die down, it was quite apparent that Naruto hadn't put down his opponent as the brown dragon drew its wings back creating several dozen of the blue colored orbs it used to first attack Naruto with. Naruto seeing the attack charge at him drew his head back and this time released a large magenta colored energy pillar from his jaws that connected with the attack.
The explosion alone from the clash of techniques was like nothing seen before in the human's history as Gildarts and the Strauss siblings were flung away, though somehow managed to land in a shallow pond. Mirajane scowled at her older brother, "Really Nii-san, that's so not cool." she said irritated. Still the attack caused a large portion of the smoke to rise into the skies above causing more clouds to gather overhead due to the amount of magic in the air. By now the clouds were so dark, they could be considered black. Naruto released yet another flash of energy from his mouth at his enemy, which also released a golden pillar of energy from its jaws.
The clash caused the world to turn white for a few seconds before the light died down. Suddenly Naruto let out a loud roar that shook the earth as the opposing dragon mirrored his actions. However, it appeared that they were not alone anymore as the clouds above begun to glow a golden color as yet another roar rang out across the earth. Gildarts gave another groan of annoyance, "Seriously, just how many of these bastards are gonna appear today? Is this the Dragon Brawl Reunion or something? Did we not get the memo?" he ranted loudly.
Lisanna felt er eyes widen, "Look at that!" se exclaimed loudly as she pointed the light out to her siblings.
Elfman felt his eyes widen, "Is it..." he started but stopped speaking as the words couldn't form anymore. Suddenly the clouds split to reveal the newest competitor with a golden glow surrounding its body. The dragon's scales decorating every inch of it's body swallowed the light like a infinite void of darkness, while underneath the wings, scales almost seemed to sparkle like diamonds sparkling in the light. A set if bat-like wings shot from the creatures back and finally a series of spikes jutted from the creatures back and ended near it's tail. The dragon has a forked, black tongue with black scales with dark magenta underbelly scales with silver teardrop scales by the corners of his eyes. The sun picked up glints of purple and deep blue on his body.
It has dark violet colored eyes. The underside of his wings are black and speckled with silver scales , giving it the appearance of a night sky filled with twinkling stars, allowing him to fly at night without detection. It stopped several dozen meter's above the battling duo and gave a roar. Gildarts felt his eyes widen, "Th-That's a..." he stuttered out.
Lisanna looked to him, "It's a what?" she questioned.
Gildarts gave a whisper, but they heard it, "Nightwing..." as clear as day. Naruto gave a loud growl as he drew his head back and released the familiar pillar of green energy from his jaws. At the same time the opposing dragon releases several streams of blue energy. The Nightwing gave a roar as it dodged Naruto's attack, and begun to swerve its way around the blue streams of energy before they passed by. When it finished it drew its head back and gave a roar as a golden glow filled its mouth before it released it with a loud *THWOOM* where it soared into the heavens and exploded much like the first one Naruto released as fireballs rained down once more.
However it seemed these fireballs could be aimed as they rained down on Naruto and the opposing dragon. Naruto however wouldn't go down so easily and released the red orbs of energy from his mouth where they crashed into the Nightwing. The large black dragon was sent crashing into the ground where it begun to slide across the land. The brown dragon once more released the blue beams of energy at the Nightwing, but it seemed that even when being forced back it could control its movement as it managed to swerve around the beams of magic aimed at it. Just how fierce was the battle gonna be between these Dragon's?
Climbing back into the air it locked its gaze on both Naruto and the brown dragon before it released a purple beam of magic from its mouth similar to the one Naruto released earlier where it crashed into the amber scaled dragon, easily pushing it back where it crashed into Naruto. The human bound within a prison of scales growled as his eyes glowed as his gaze locked on the Nightwing. Suddenly to everyone's shock four ruby pillars surrounded it, and then those where struck in a 360 degree circle of even more ruby pillars where each of them then exploded in a earth shaking detonation.
Lightning sparked within the heavy dust cloud as it obscured everybody's sight, leaving many to wonder if the battle was over. However it was not as the Nightwing suddenly flashed out of the dust where it raced across the land at high speeds away from Naruto and his enemy, only to turn back around and race even faster as it surrounded itself in a purple shroud of magic. The Nightwing gave a roar as it raced towards Naruto and his opponent, the land behind it being torn asunder as earth flew into the air as the Nightwing raced at Naruto and its enemy. It suddenly raced by Naruto and his enemy causing a large explosion where it turned and gave a roar of victory before it soared higher into the sky.
"NII-SAN!" the younger siblings cried out when they saw the explosion. Naruto gave a roar of agony, as the other dragon was somehow being fused with his current form. A bright glow encompassed Naruto as the two Dragon Souls fused together to form a whole new dragon. Wen the light died down it showed Naruto's new form causing many to gasp in sock. Naruto's new form has a myriad of red, pink, orange, golden scales with yellow, amber, and a few copper underscales, and yellow eyes. The entirety of the his back is covered in large, red jagged rubies. Additionally he has two sharp horns which have four large, elongated plates extending backward on either side of them.
Attached to the teenager's chin, is a protrusion that resembles an arrowhead. It still seemed to leave him with having his bright light blue eyes. the scapulars of the dragon's wings also feature large, spiked protrusions. He has a long row of sharp pointed row of spikes similar to crystals running from the back of the neck to the base of the tail. The head is shaped like that of a diamond, and very narrow. Those wings are attached by a bone on their shoulder, allowing the wings to extend further out. The snout is thin and long, with a nose-spike, and an extra horn on the jaw.
His horns are long, thin, and curved horns in shape. The claws it has on its feet can be described to look "four times sharper than average claws" due to them being serrated which give it a better grip on ice or extremely sloped surfaces. Around the dragon's mouth and climbing up the snout, and on various other parts of his body, the dragon features dark black, jagged markings. Additionally, the dragon's cavernous mouth is filled with obsidian colored razor sharp teeth, and has claws with long, sharp, nails. The dragon's ears taper off to one side and feature darkened ends. unfashionably it also has two, long strands of hair on the chin.
In the areas between, such as the underbelly, biceps and calves, the scales seem to disappear and instead gives way to cross-hatched scales that resemble chain mail. For each of its four legs the dragon's four-fingered claws are complete with dark green emerald, shiny talons. Each claw sports five talons each: four in the front, and one in the back. The dragon's lower body, specifically its chin, chest, stomach, inner tail, thighs, and arms, are Magenta in color, and appear to be rather smooth. It's stomach, and lower body are decorated by spiraling, black markings. Naruto gave one last roar before he fell to the ground, finally unconscious.
A glow surrounded his fallen form, and soon he begun to turn into particles of light where it soon revealed Naruto unconscious on the ground. The Nightwing landed on the ground beside the now fallen human and begun to niff him. Making its mind up it gave a roar as a light filled its mouth. Fearing the worst Gildarts rushed towards the teen with his siblings following behind, only to be shocked as it released a large white beam from its mouth. The beam traveled up to the heavens and exploded causing the world to turn white once again, and then the clouds begun to dissipate.
Looking back down it reached a clawed hand out and stuck it above Naruto where a glow surrounded him for several seconds. Satisfied with what it had done the sole victor of a battle that tore apart the land took to the skies once again not to be seen again for over fourteen years. Lisanna cocked her head to the side, "What was that all about?" she asked as she watched the Nightwing fly away.
Gildarts could only smirk, "I think I know, but I'm not sure if I would be right." he said causing the three younger siblings to look at him.
"W-What do you mean?" Mirajane asked him.
Gildarts gave a chuckle, "It is said that if a battle waged between dragons ever calls forth a Nightwing, it would end with the sole victor being the Nightwing. Two powers that could never hope to match its prowess. However if the battling party just so happens to have a human drawn into the conflict, it will bless them with a unimaginable power the world has never seen before. I could only wonder what it blessed you brother with though. I mean Nightwing's are a good omen, but I can only wonder... what will the future hold now?" he questioned himself. That battle was literally out of humanities league, even he was pressed to the point of retreat.
Now that was saying something. Gildarts gained a idea, "Say, why don't you kids come with me. I'm sure with all that's happened you might be resented for what transpired here, and I don't want that for a group of youngster's like y'all. Especially since your brother ad his little episode." he said.
Mirajane stuck her siblings behind her, now wary of the man, "And why would we just up and leave our home just to go with you? For all we know you could be some type of pedophile." she said.
Gildarts felt a eye twitch at that, "Hey I will have you know that I am a married man with a kid." he responded to her.
Mira snorted, "Uh huh, and just what is your kids name?" she asked him.
Gildarts crossed his arms, "Her name is Cana Alberona and she is about as old as the younger lass with you." he stated.(1)
Mirajane gave a growl, and then realized. Gildarts had several really good points with what he was saying. She sighed, "Alright, fine. We'll go with you." she said. She then scowled at him, "But make no mistake, try anything funny and you'll regret it when Nii-sama wakes up." she warned him. The start of a new adventure had just begun for the family of four.
A bit shorter than I wanted it to be I will admit, but I ran out of steam at the last second. Now for those wondering about the Nightwing mentioned in this story, no it is not the one Naruto Takes Over. That one along with four other's don't come around until MUCH later in the story. I decided to have Naruto engage in this battle to actually "Upgrade" the original Crystal Wing as the dragon he fought had total control over the earth while the one he "Took Over" could only control Crystal Formations. The Nightwing will make another appearance in the GMG to once more help Naruto out of a Predicament, but I can't say as that will ruin the story. It pretty much is like Naruto's guardian in a way as it will look out for I'm if needed. Now the one you all just witnessed was him fighting Morzan, the first one on his list of Take Over Spell's.
