Chapter 2: U.A. Entrance Exam

Slayer76: Hello, I'm back with a new chapter and chokes that's a lot of followers.

Izuku: Put that sword away.

Slayer76: What sword? Anyways, If you haven't already, feel free to read my other MHA fanfic called "Spider-Deku."

Ten months have passed, and now it's time for the U.A. entrance exam and Deku is doing some last minute chanting In his room. "You can win, You'll do great, you. can. do. this, yeah!"

(story start)

"OUT OF MY WAY DEKU" shouts Kacchan as he pushes past him and continues walking to the U.A. entrance exams. This push knocks Deku off balance and he starts falling towards the concrete. Suddenly, he feels someone smack his back and he starts floating.

"Are you okay?" asked a voice from behind him and the owner of that voice positions Deku in a way that will make him land on his feet. "Yeah, I'm fine" Izuku replied calmly before landing on his feet.

"Are you sure? He seemed to have it out for you" She said before introducing herself as " Ochaco Uraraka." " Izuku Midoriya and I'm sure. He just has a big ego" Izuku says, reassuring Ochaco that nothing is wrong.

"Okay, good luck during the exams." She smiles and walks away leaving Deku to walk to the Exam room alone.

( After the written exam)

Deku is sitting in his designated seating area next to Kacchan and barely listening to Present Mic. "Just stay out of my way or I'll fucking kill you" Kacchan whispers, but Deku doesn't react. Soon enough, everyone is being led to the buses that'll take them to their battle centers and Deku sees a familiar face sitting at the back of the bus, Ochaco is sitting with a nervous smile on her face and her fingers playing with her Brown locks of hair. Deku sits next to her and starts talking to her, hoping to distract her from being nervous.

They talk until they reach their destination and the Exam begins. Deku and Ochaco split up at the start, with Deku hopping onto a giant eagle made of yellow crystals and flying into the fray.

He decides to play smart and stay on the rooftops to attack the robots that were stationed there. He does this because he wants to have his own robots to fight without worrying about kill stealers. Deku creates a 8 inch long sword made of a clear Crystal and he examines his prey. 10 robots armed with guns, swords and guns that shoot swords. "Let's rock!" Deku screams before charging into combat, immediately parrying a sword strike from one of the robots before impaling its chest and using it to block a hail of rubber bullets. Deku pushes the robot off his sword where it falls to the ground with a clang, stepping over its sparking wound to reach the next robot.

One of the robots with sword guns starts to fire its 10 inch long dull grey swords. Deku swings his sword at the flying swords, hitting the first 2 and knocking those into the other 10, once the sky is clear Deku performs a jump slash and vertically bisects the robot. 2 of the gun robots begin to change form. 1 folds backwards to reveal a Minigun in its chest and the other becomes a mini tank that fires explosives. "Great, somebody played too much underwatch" Deku thinks as he creates a ruby red shield that is big enough to cover his entire body. After 2 minutes of taking damage from heavy artillery, the shield starts crack in and the robots run out of ammo. Deku launches his shield at the robots, sweeping the rest of them off the roof and plummeting to their destruction. He dives off the roof, freefalling until he has his eagle swoop by and grab his shirts in its talons.

Deku forms a dozen mini pinkish red orbs in his left hand and he drops them letting the orbs plummet down towards a group of robots. The orbs morph into dozens of baby birds that home in on each robot below. Upon reaching their targets, they all explode, leaving behind nothing but craters 2 inches deep.

The other applicants turn to look at the explosion and look on in awe as they see Deku flying above the city dropping bombs in areas full of robots. Fortunately, those areas didn't have any organic life in range of the explosions and the other applicants could pick off the damaged survivors.

Unexpectedly, a building collapses, sending rubble and debris falling to Earth. Deku is about to fly away when he notices 2 people about to be crushed, "This seems like a little bit too much for an entrance exam!" thought Deku as he swoops in to grab them. He grabs Ochaco, while the eagle grabs the guy with blond hair and Indigo eyes. Their combined weight is too much for the eagle and they begin losing altitude, so Deku lands on a nearby building while hoping that it doesn't collapse too.

"Thanks Izuku" Said Ochaco as they touch down.

"This is a magnifique bird, it almost shines as bright as me" The blond man says, his body seems to be sparkling.

"No thanks are necessary, I'm just doing what any hero would do," Deku proclaims while sheepishly rubbing the back of his head.

"It was still cool how you swooped in like a knight in shining armure to save a complete stranger instead of getting more points" The blond Man replies, his sparkling hasn't stopped yet.

"Anyways, we can't stay up here forever, the exam is still ongoing. I'll make another bird to carry you, while I grab Ochaco" Deku states while making a smaller yellow eagle. They all climb on to the back of their bird, the blond man clinging onto its neck, while Ochaco clings on to Deku. As soon as they take off, the building collapses to reveal a giant robot.

"It's the zero pointer!" Ochaco screams. "We have to smash it, or else those giant Minigun arms will decimate everyone without a quirk made for speed or defense. Blond Guy, start evacuating the area, if you find that guy with engines in his legs, convince him to help. There's bound to be people that can't see the robot because of the buildings in the way." Deku commands before sending The blond guy's bird towards the group of people running away.

"You can count on me" He shouts during his descent.

"What's my job?" Ochaco asks, her eyes filling with determination.

"I'm about to try cutting off the Minigun arms, when I do I need you to make them weightless. That way I can grab them and keep them from accidentally firing upon impacting the earth." Deku instructs as he makes a longer brown crystal sword with sharp diamond edges that is about 13 inches long.

The 0 pointer's right arm points at the crows of running applicants and starts spinning. "Change of plans!" Deku Screams as he turns around to chase after the fleeing applicants. When he gets above the group, he raises both hands in front of his body and starts crafting a 50 feet tall rectangular blue diamond barrier. The barrier is holding up fine until the second Minigun starts firing rubber bullets too. The sound of diamond cracking halts all of the runners and they turn around to see Deku defending them.

"Don't just stand there, TAKE COVER!" shouts Deku as another piece of the barrier cracks. "Izuku, look out!" Ochaco yells as she pulls him down to his knees, a rubber bullet shoots through the area his forehead used to occupy. Another bullet punches through and smacks Ochaco in her elbow. Her scream makes Deku snap.

As soon as the bullet storm ends, Deku swoops down and deposits Ochaco in the crowd. He blitzes the robot, his eyes full of rage. He carves through the chassis on his first fly-by and immediately makes a vertical turn. He slices the Minigun arm in half and the separated piece lands with a heavy thud. Afterwards, Deku loops back around for the other one.

The Robot smacks the eagle with its Minigun and shatters a wing. Deku spends a minute figuring out what to do after he crash lands.

The Minigun starts spinning once again and Deku makes a split second decision. He stomps the ground and clear crystal begins spreading across the ground, destroying his right shoe in the process. It surges up the Mechanical Menace's legs and the rest of the body. The crystal begins to squeeze together. As it gets tighter and tighter, the sound of metals being crushed fills the air. Soon nothing is left but a metal sphere with leaking oil and wires randomly sticking out.

Deku falls down to his knees in exhaustion before passing out completely. His sword shatters along with his eagles, leaving Crystal shards scattered across the ground.

"TIME'S UP!" Present Mic screams over the PA system.
