"See This is strange right" Amy asked her friend Emmy.
"Yeah but it's probly photoshoped Amy" Emmy said looking at one of the pictures that had come in the strange package.
"Okay but how do you explain the notes that's my handwriting" Amy said holding up the note she'd read earlier.
"That is hard to explain. Well maybe someone forged it" Emmy said.
"Maybe but still this is beyond strange" Amy said.
"Look at this one" Emmy said holding up a photo.
The picture showed five year old Amy on the floor of a house playing with a younger version of Shaggy.
"Okay that's definitely not photoshoped" Amy declared as Emmy's phone rang.
Emmy had a short talk with whoever it was and hung up. Turning to Amy she said
"That was Mom I've got to go"
"Okay I'll talk to later" Amy said as if everything was normal.
"Amy don't worry we'll figure this out in the meantime don't show this to anyone" Emmy said before she left.
After Emmy had left Amy cleared the package of the coffee table and stored it in a box at the back of her closet. She was convinced that this was a sick prank done by the kids at school. Sitting down at her desk Amy decided to do some research of her own. She'd browsed many websites for her family's history but the only thing about her adoption she could find was that her adoption was finalized on September 25.
"Okay I give up" Amy declared slamming her laptop shut.
Meanwhile the rest of Mystery Inc had returned from mystery solving to find Shaggy fast asleep on the couch. After the crowd had cleared up earlier Scrappy had left. So Shaggy was left alone to think. So many unanswered questions were driving him crazy.
Who was the girl?
Why did she keep showing up in his dreams?
Why did she look familiar?
Shaggy had fallen asleep thinking about these questions but sleep didn't last long at all. As soon as the dream ended he woke up.
"Hi gang how was the mystery solving today?" Shaggy asked when he noticed his friends.
"It was great. How was your day?" Fred said while tossing the keys on the counter.
"I saved Scrappy from being beat to a pulp other than that it was slow" Shaggy said going to the kitchen to make dinner.
"Poor Scrappy they blame him for everything" Daphne commented.
"Yeah they made one movie with him as a bad guy and then you can't trust him" Velma added thinking about the first attempt at a live action movie.
Amy with nothing else to do dug the box back out of her closet and looked through it. She picked up a Differnt note. While reading it she found it impossible to keep from laughing.
Commander is better than Superman Amy.
No he isn't Shaggy.
Yes he is he has rocket powered roller skates.
Superman can fly.
Big whoop Commander Cool has Mellow Mutt.
Superman has Superdog and besides Superman is real.
Fine you win this time.
"Superman always wins" Amy mused as someone knocked on the door.
Putting the box back in the closet Amy went to answer the door.
Amy opened the door to find a strange woman outside.
"May I help You?" Amy asked.
"Amy we need to talk"
Hello everyone. First off if you followed or favorite this thank you. Okay some things to understand about this story. The cartoon chacters are aware that they are fictional in our world and as you read earlier they are aware of the live action spin offs. Different cartoons will make appearances in this story later on. Commander Cool was Shaggy's favorite comic in A pup named Scooby Doo. Superman is real in The Scooby universe but he's only made comic book appearances. Please leave a review I'd love to get feedback but no flames.
