His a thousand watt smile was permanently etched into his whiskered face, completely disregarding the cold harsh murderous glares that originated from the civilian villagers. During the past couple days he had come to one conclusion:
Shadow Clones were overpowered
He almost had to thank Mizuki for trying to mess with him otherwise he never would have learnt this monstrous.
Almost
Everything .That's what they could be used for (besides physical training). Reading – Shadow clones, Cooking – Shadow clones, Cleaning – Shadow clones. All in all he was a very happy camper. He would've liked to say that his fuinjutsu had been coming greatly but the truth is that it hadn't. Understanding the beginner's fuinjustsu wasn't the hard bit; the handwriting was. He never needed to perfect his handwriting before so he was kinda bummed out. Fuinjutsu actually looked really cool.
The Advanced Chakra Theory book gave him all kind of tingles. He remembered dispelling that particular Shadow clone had made him hold his head as he felt the rush of knowledge and oncoming migraine. Chakra control, manipulation, channelling, affinity and flow. Sure he would have learnt some of these things at the Academy if he actually paid attention in class. Too late now.
Out of all the things that he did this week, practicing the Hummingbird kata was his favourite. He would go to a training ground nearer the outside of the village and summon a hundred Shadow clones and have them practice the kata for an hour before slowly dispelling them in groups of ten. While this was going on he would be reading the bingo book or doing physical training himself. The Shadows clones useful for the kata as he learnt that the muscle memory needed is a mental faculty, not a physical one.
At first the Shadow clones were unorganised and out of time we eachother but that was sorted out very quickly after being threatened by being dog piled by other Shadow clones however by end of the week they had perfected the kata down to the Hummingbird kata was meant for small agile users who could deliver quick but devastating strikes to the opponents pressure points and vital organs but if needed certain locks to subdue the enemy. The technique required speed and agility something that Naruto has spades of. Whoever used this style was eerily like him
At midday he would Summon a Shadow clones to get some Ichiraku's while he slowly dispelled his clones in groups. After his lunch he would head home to practice his handwriting while summoning a couple Shadow clones to pick up some books on other villages politics and their shinobi; if he was going on missions outside of the land of fire he would at least want to have an advantage.
Meditation had been another thing that although he despised, he felt it calmed him and cleared his mind. This was suggested by the fuinjutsu scroll as it would help his handwriting even in stressful situations and if he was feeling any extreme emotion while writing it could fluctuate his chakra and cause the seal he was making to blow up in his face. If only he knew how beneficial this would be in the future
Although he was more than happy with his progress he knew that Sasuke would still mop the floor with him unless he pulled something special out his ass. Unless he just overwhelmed him Shadow clones that was always an option.
All in all he hadn't become much stronger physically but he was content with the progress he made and he knew that as the future of Konoha he had the right foundations to "Uhhhhh Ojii san's teachings really got into my head" sighed Naruto. He didn't wanna sound old he's still young and kicking.
Unfortunately for him he wasn't completely focused on where he was walking he had to swerve out the way of a passing group of civilian teens causing him to knock over a small bin
"Hey watch were your going demon brat"
The rest of the group laughed as they through half eaten apples and other food from the knocked over bin
His mood no sooner turned very sour

As Naruto made his way into the classroom and up towards the back corner near Shikamaru, Choji who he fist bumped and Hinata who he waved to, he got not so subtle stares but he couldn't care less. 'The one time I felt like I came above and beyond what people thought I could do, the stupid villagers get me into a bad mood' thought Naruto quietly.
"Naruto you know this for the people who graduated the Academy. We all you flopped orphan loser" (A/N I know Shikamaru said this but makes more sense if someone like Kiba said something to offend Naruto) Kiba said loud enough for the whole class to hear which exploded into laughter at the fact Naruto had been caught red handed. Normally he would ignore the mutt but something in Naruto snapped.
"Didn't know the Inuzuka were blind as well as stinky Dog breath" snarled Naruto. Unbeknownst to him his pupils had elongated and turned into slits and he was leaking enough KI to make the whole class stop laughing and stare at Naruto with small beads of sweat forming on the surface of their skin. 'Tchhhh this is nothing for me after that man but maybe the punching bag has some strength after all' pondered the last loyal Uchiha
'Naruto kun' thought the Hyuuga Princess worriedly
Kiba had a knack for pissing him off at the worst times. They were a lot alike and used to mess around with each other physically and verbally but ever since a couple girls laughed along with him Kiba when they got into a heated argument he had made it a hobby to berate him in front of the girls. They had got over eventually but Kiba would still act up every now and then. Now was one of those times and after what happened earlier and how he was forced to pick up the trash after. Next spar he would crush him
Before kiba could properly reply the impending dooom was heard before seen as the door swung open
"SAAAAAAASUKE kun" screeched two girls
With the tension broken everyone went back to their respective social groups and whispered about the whiskered blondes changed attitude.
'Naruto I'm sure he didn't mean it to be rude' spoke choji carefully not wanting to re ignite the blonde's anger. "Yeah stop brooding like emo teme" tried to joke Shikamaru but all he got was no response. As troublesome as it was, he made an effort to befriend Naruto after he found out that he was orphan and the villagers seemed to hate him. Naruto, Shikamaru and Choji were a little group.

That's what Naruto was doing to control his sudden outburst. He could feel intensity of his rage even after it had gone the Bloodlust. A fellow Konoha shinobi who said something mildly offensive had made him this mad. He was scared what he would do if it was an enemy shinobi. But most of all he was disappointed. 'A shinobi controls his emotions at all times' that's what the book that appeared in his room one day said. It contained a whole lot of 'proverbs' like that and how to become the perfect shinobi.
He agreed with some stuff like the emotions things but other stuff like 'friends and family are an emotional hindrance he couldn't disagree with more. He was so lost in thought He didn't even realise his 'crush' come into the room. Iruka soon came into the room and announced the teams which Naruto barely paid attention to as he was thinking of ways of how to control that unholy rage and how to improve his strength.
Sakura almost cried when she found out that's she was on the same team as Naruto baka and let the whole class know why she didn't want. She almost went up to him and bonked him on the head for passing when she noticed that the whole class minus a few was staring at her in disbelief and ... pity?
When she looked over at Naruto who had been in the same position as when she came in she was confused. What had happened when she was away. 'Cha I'm going to find out one way or another'. She weren't the gossip queen for nothing
Everyone blew out a sigh they didn't know they were holding out when she's at down.

Naruto's Mindscape
'Good brat just keep feeling that same anger and frustration to these damn humans and I'll be free soon enough' chuckled the Kyuubi 'Not to mention the bloodlust effect I have on this container because of the seal the Yondaime is different to Kushina's and Mito's. To think the Yondaime had so much pride he thought his son could 'master' my power he thought. Tchhhh overconfident blondes'

2 Hours later
The last loyal Uchiha to the Village Hidden in the Leaves couldn't take it no more. Over 2 hours late was his sensei 'Has he no respect for the Uchiha' muttered the dark haired boy as his left eye kept on twitching. Naruto had pulled out a small note pad and was practicing his handwriting along with four Shadow clones he had made discreetly. Although he was not at all happy with his sensei being late why not put all that time into training.
Sakura however was combing through her hair whilst looking over at Sasuke dreamily. Just as Naruto was finishing off the final character of the book he was copying the door swung open slowly and in stepped a silver haired man
"Yo" said a muffled voice. Naruto was beyond shocked. Sasuke smirked. This guy looked strong and an able teacher for someone of his calibre. Sakura on the other hand had something to say
"SENSEI BAKA YOUR LATE!"
"My first impressions of you guys: I hate you. Meet me on the roof in 2 minutes " the mysterious sensei then eye smiled (How does that even) and disappeared in a shower of green leaves. 'Shunshin' thought both Naruto and Sasuke while Sakura was dumbfounded.

2 min Later
Naruto and Sasuke bolted up the stairs pushing and shoving each other to trying to get to the roof first and it would have almost ended in stairway brawl if not for the timed 'exercise' while Sakura was lagging behind. Painfully.
Naruto and Sasuke burst through the door -panting and all- to see their sensei happily sitting there reading a small orange book and giggling perversely. Moments later Sakura comes bounding up the stairs to join Naruto and Sasuke in their breathing battle.
"Maaaa, why don't we start off by introducing ourselves" said the Copy Ninja whilst still giggling and reading his porn. Team 7 sweatdropped.
"Why don't you go first sensei" said Sakura who was still panting. "I am Hatake Kakashi. I have no intentions of telling you my likes and dislikes. As for my dream... I have few hobbies."
'He only gave us his name' was the thought of every member of Team 7
"Well it's your guys turn. Let's start with you whiskers"
"My names Uzumaki Naruto and I like ramen, Ayame neechan, Teuchi san and Ojii san, Shadow clones and training. My dislikes are fangirls, annoying villagers and people who don't know the difference between a container and its contents." Huffed the blonde prankster. Kakashi knew instantly what he was talking about but showed no outward expression other than looking at Naruto who was staring right back. Sasuke and Sakura had no clue what Naruto was on about. "Okay you next Pinky"

A hour later
Hiruzen had a very promising batch of fresh genin to work with this year and most of them were clan heirs and if they grew up to be anything like they're parents then Konoha would be in safe hands. Especially young Naruto. Over the past week he had seen some of Naruto progress. He smiled as he remembered the shock Naruto had given him
Flashback

Hiruzen was just about to light his pipe when he felt a massive chakra spike at the south east borders of the village. Normally these chakra spikes were expected of a ninja village and there was a training area nearby but this was just too much. The chakra was so dense and massive that he just couldn't ignore it. Even though any intruder wouldnt be stupid enough to spike their chakra like that he just couldn't ignore it. He was pretty sure every sensor in the village was wetting them
'Go' spoke the Sarutobi clan head calmly. He felt one of the four chakra signatures in his room disappear while he looked into his purple ball and focused in on that specific area.
Bear was going as fast as his chakra enhanced legs could carry. Which was pretty fast. As he made his way closer he could sense the vast amounts of chakra in each person but they were tightly packed together in a small area. As he got closer he could hear the faint chanting of synced voices. He didn't dare lower his guard. As he came into the clearing he almost choked. In front of him were two hundred orange clad clones in a twenty by twenty formation perfectly practicing kata all in sync.
He had to say it quite impressive if the person didn't wear such an obtrusive colour. He turned around and made his way towards the Hokage tower to inform Hokage of Naruto's use of Kage bunshin.

Hiruzen had the biggest grin on his face for the rest of the day. To know that your surrogate grandson used the tools he was given to overcome his obstacles and shortcomings had been a great relief and put pride in his heart.

"The ambition to restore my clan and kill a certain someone".
Those words had bothered Naruto ever since the second they came out of Sasuke's mouth. He could see the anger in his rivals eyes. Anger leads to hate, Hate leads to vengeance, Vengeance leads to suffering. " Argggh damn it Ojiisan" his words always somehow got into the blondes head

He put those thoughts about his teammate to the side as he let the leaves that were spinning on his arms and legs drop and made a couple Kage bunshin and got them working on drawing the basic storage seal. He was almost giddy with excitement when he perfected his Handwriting to the point he could almost write full sentences whilst looking away from the paper he was writing on and still have neat handwriting.
It was at this point he deemed himself good enough to move on to Beginners level 2. There are four stages: Beginners, Intermediate, Higher and Masters. Each of these stages and three levels which focused on different things but got increasingly difficult. Beginners level 2 was about drawing sealing scrolls and eventually exploding tags. Level 3 would be about varying power in exploding tags and space inside sealing scrolls.
Naruto was going ace this test and nothing was going to stop him
