Change.
Chapter 2. Night.
Disclaimer: Same as chapter 1. I didn't make up Edward, or Bella...etc. That was the work of the awesome Stephanie Meyer. She rules.
I didn't know why we were heading into the forest, but I didn't question him. He seemed so deep in thought, I knew it would be wrong to interrupt him. We reached the deep part of the wood, and Edward instructed me to lie on the ground. He smiled. "What?" I questioned. "Oh nothing. It would just be too dangerous to have you that close to town after the change you know." "How did you..." His eyes danced playfully, a smirk playing around his alabaster lips. "Oh, yea...right" I muttered. Then the smirk vanished from his mouth and his eyes became serious. Alice caught up to us, although I had not even realized she had fallen behind. I layed on the ground and with the sun sinking behind us. I felt like screaming, or crying, but decided it would be a bit thematic. I shuddered. Alice lowered he head. He bit.
The fire was back. I screamed, the pain escalating with every millisecond. It built in my arms, and my neck felt as though a million saws were working at it. I was acutely aware of my heart stopping for just a second. The pain was too much. Too soon. I sensed Edward and Alice standing over me. I felt the inferno in my legs now, and my arms. My ribs snapped, then sewed themselves back together. My eyes rolled in the sockets. I screamed for it to stop. I was dying. Then. Blackness.
He stood over me. I felt different. So utterly different. Unlike anything in the world. Because I was not feeling anything. Nothing at all. I loved it.
Huh? How was that? It was super hard trying to figure out how to describe the transformation, and I had writers block for the longest time! Hope it was good! Chapter 3 under way!
