The Principal walked in. "Tracy!" Everyone turned. "There are two people here for you." Suddenly a blur of colour ran in through the door and hugged Alan.
"Marlie!" He cried as he let go and then she hugged Fermat before returning to the goddess in pink. Lady Penelope quickly informed Alan and Fermat of the current situation.
"Now will any of these gorgeous young things be joining you?" She asked and a sea of hands went up.
"Just...Fermat." Alan said, putting an arm around his best friend.
"Quite right." The two women agreed.
Once they were in the air, Penelope pulled a newspaper out and Marlie began writing a letter.
"Who is the letter for Marlie?" Penelope asked and Marlie mumbled an answer. "I see." Penelope smiled.
"It's for John, isn't it?" Alan asked, "Dear John, I miss you so much!" He laughed, making kissy noises. Marlie didn't speak but extended her foot forwards and jammed it just under Alan's ribcage – causing him to yell out in pain.
"Never underestimate or tease a girl." Penelope said from behind her paper.
"I wish that was me." Alan murmured as Thunderbird 1 and Thunderbird 2 flew off ahead. Marlie leaned over and squeezed his hand.
"One day." She said in her clear British accent. Alan smiled gratefully at her.
