The Ol' Warm Water In A Bowl Trick

It was a lazy afternoon at the Sonic and Shadow household, about a week since the laser pointer stunt Shadow pulled and it had mostly blown over, mainly because Sonic threatened anyone who talked about it. "Hey Sonic," came a voice that Sonic was starting to get annoyed with, "Did you know that 'Heroes and Laser Pointers' just got one million hits on YouTube?" Shadow continued, a smug smile never leaving his face. "Well if you didn't, you do now."

Sonic got off the couch and rolled up the sleeves of the light blue hoodie he was wearing, "Shadow," he started, "You better run now before I murder you. And take that video down!"

Shadow just look at him like he was an insane lunatic. "That's very unlikely Faker," the smirk appeared again. "I'm not taking down that video for anything. Not even if I got to see Maria again." He said as he walked out, probably to tell Tails' the 'good news'.

'I need an idea on how to get Shadow back for that,' Sonic thought as he returned to Death Note, the anime that he was watching before Shadow came in and ruined the fun and joy of the moment. 'I know,' An evil smile crossed his face. 'but it'll have to wait till I can talk to Tails' in private.'

*Half an hour later...*

"Are you sure about this, Sonic? If he finds out it was us, and there's a more than ninety percent chance he will, he'll kill you for thinking this up and then executing it, then me for helping you." Tails' said as Sonic filled the bowl with lukewarm water.

"Tails', buddy, use words I can understand."

With a sigh he clarified. "If he knows it's you, you're dead." Tails' sighed how had his blue brother talked him into this I hear you ask. Well it's simple, he said 'hardware shop', 'supplies' and 'I'll pay' in the same sentence. That's how. It's only now that the kit wished he'd listened to what his brother had actually said. "Sonic, it was just some harmless fun on Shadow's part. You should be glad that he's out of his shell and into the real world."

Sonic turned off the water, grabbed the bowl and turned toward Tails'. "He put a video of us being idiots on the internet." He said slowly. "My pride will probably never recover!"

Tails' sighed again. "All right, all right if it's a matter of pride.."

Sonic just smirked.

*Later...*

"FAKER! WHEN I GET MY HANDS ON YOU, I'LL KILL YOU! AND NOT THE QUICK AND PAINLESS KIND, EITHER!"

Sonic, for his part, did try not to laugh. But he failed. Miserably."W-what do you mean, Shadz?" He gasped between laughs.

Shadow, who had obviously had a shower before confronting Sonic, grabbed him by the collar of the light blue hoodie and held him up against the wall. "I swear to Chaos', Faker, if there's a picture or something..." he left the threat hanging.

Sonic chuckled and said "I'm not telling you anything until you take the video down." Shadow pulled back his fist, ready to punch. "On second thought, I've decided to tell you for free. No, there isn't a picture or anything."

Shadow let him go and walked away. "The video's still not coming down."

"Dammit!"

As soon as Shadow left the room, an evil smirk crossed Sonic's face.

"Well there not a picture….. I didn't say anything about the video." Then Sonic began to laugh evilly to himself.

A.N- So that's it for now. And don't worry HR and HoTC:CoTBE fans I'm working on the next chapters as you read this. As long as I'm not at school. Or hanging out with Tairulz. Or playing games on my Xbox 360... I will work on it though! You have my word! On another note, yesterday was Tairuz's birthday!
