I look at the long list in front of me; they are all the people who can be helpful with the plan. Tomorrow Jem and I will travel to Idris; Magnus is going to be there. Just when I thought everything was going to be okay and I was done with the whole adventurous life, but no Valentine had to come back.
I put my head in my hands and pray to the angel that this will all play out in itself. Jem walks in and must have noticed my posture because he begins to rub my shoulders,
"It's going to be okay, there are a trillion Shadow Hunters and two people trying to over power. Tessa do the math."
"Okay, okay maybe you're right, I just can't get it, and this man is pure evil like Mortmain we thought we had him under control." I breathe in and out trying to erase the image of Mortmain out of my century old brain.
Life is a mystery, you think you have something solid and then you realize it isn't so stable and you fall.
