Chapter 2

Raven walked through the city wanting to get as far away from the tower as possible. Obviously not paying any attention to where she was heading. Her mind was only thinking about what Beast boy had done to her. And it all was because Terra had returned. Raven began to cross the street, she didn't acknowledge the truck that was coming her way full speed.

Not until it was too late. As shocked as she was, she just stood there her eyes wide open. This was the end for her. As lucky as she was, someone was looking out for her.

The mysterious person jumped off the building to go to her. He swung his cape around her shielding her from the danger, and teleporting them to the side walk.

They both dropped to the ground opposite from each other. But Raven was more shocked to see her hero was no one other than Kyd Wykkyd their former villain.

Kyd Wykkyd began to get up, walking over to Raven to help her get up as well. She took his hand lifting herself up from the ground.

"Thank You." She said as she dusted herself.

"No problem, you know Raven you should get back to the tower. It's getting late and I doubt you know where you are right now." Kyd Wykkyd said as he looked around.

Raven knew he was right, she had no idea where she was.

"But I don't know how to get back." She replied.

"I'll help you get back." He said as he walked towards her. Raven seemed to be taken back, but as he extended his hand so she could grab him, she decided it was best for him to help her.

As he took a hold of the dark empaths hand, he brought her closer to him and put his cape around them, teleporting them near the tower. This time they really did landed safely.

"Thanks for everything." She said as she began to walk towards the tower.

He nodded and then disappeared.

Raven proceeded to walk into the tower and towards her room. Beast boy and Raven both pass each other in the hall. She didn't even bother to look at him. But he did look at her, the auras environment seemed to be depressed and rage floating around. He knew that he had made a big mistake.

As Raven finally reached her room she sat in her bed, her thoughts overwhelmed of Kyd Wyykyd.

Why did he save her?

Is he evil?

Does he still work with the High Five?

Raven decided it was best not to question his motives, though she was thankful for him to have saved her. So she decided to meditate, but after a while she had fallen asleep.

-Next Day-

Raven began to wake up, she checked the time and it was about to be noon. It wasn't normal for her to wake up this late. But through the events that impacted her it was only a matter of time that something like this would happen.

She sigh and took a shower getting ready for today. Raven wasn't the type of person that would look at their own reflection. But she was just curious, as she looked at the mirror. She saw a pale girl whose eyes were fluffy from crying and mentally tired.

She decided it was best if she drank her tea so she could feel more relax. As she began to walk to the kitchen she prepared her morning tea. After the tea was done, she decided it was best for her to go to her room. Since she didn't want to have any contact with a certain someone.

But luck was not on her side, since Beast boy was passing by her. Raven mentally told herself not to look back, what happen was done. There was no way she could ever forgive him. Beast boy called her name, and she stopped and turn to see him. She told herself it was best to move on, so she turn back around and kept walking, leaving Beast boy alone.

She put her tea on top of the table stand beside her. She was going to sit on her bed but she found a box in her bed. It was from Kyd Wykkyd.

At first she was uneasy to know that he was on her room. She looked around but everything seemed to be normal. She decided to open the mysterious black box. As she opened the box, she found a black rose and a letter.

She began to unfold and read the letter.

Dear Raven,

I hope you enjoyed the black rose. I represents "Hope." Because no matter what people thought about you, you managed to prove them wrong. They always said that you would only bring darkness into people lifes, but they were wrong. I hope this means something to you. I also wanted to invite you for some tea near the pizza place. I need to talk to you about something important. I hope to see you there at 7pm tonight. It's not a trap or some sort of scam. Trust me.

After Raven finished reading the letter, she had mix feelings. She felt her heart increase speed and she became flustered. Somehow she wanted to leave and go see him. But she was rather suspicious in the whole situation. I mean out of the whole city, he managed to be there when she needed him.

She questioned herself to the very end. But in order to find out what was really going on, she was going to meet him tonight. But before that she needed to calm herself and meditate, think things through.

She did hope she wasn't making a mistake she'll end up regretting later.
