M.E.G.A Mission Part 1
At the dawn of creation, all life existed with the need to maintain and withhold balance. The most primal forces of balance was that of good and evil, positive and negative energy. In every universe there exist a nexus planet where all balance is upheld.

It started as a blur, a coin flipping in the air but landing neither heads or tails. The image changes to a scale tipping neither to the right or left but the two pans remaining perfectly level. The vision glanced upward showing an array of twinkling lights in the sky; they were stars. One star in particular seemed higher up in the night sky, this star was unblinking, untwinkling, yet still set apart from all the others. Half the star burned bright orange as if flames licked the surface, the other half had a chilling whitish-blue color. This image was all too familiar as at last the dream shifted.
There was an explosion of flames as rangers in suits of red, blue, green, yellow, and pink leap through. They had triangles in an alternating pattern of white and their suit color on their chests. The five joined the ranks of an army of rangers each dressed in different suits of various colors and designs. The rangers engaged an army of even greater numbers consisting of grey suited figures with square heads.

By the end of this illusion Troy had awoken, his head pressed against the window of the his father's sedan and his eyes adjusting to the sun shining through the car as he groaned, "Again..."
Dreams are suppose to come with peaceful meaning but all Troy's will dream about came with irrefutable and yet confusing set backs. Years later the dreams he once had as a kid returned making it the 15th time he had this dream and it irritated him. His hands heated slightly as they pulsed with energy as he forced his eyes to open to a man siting in the driver seat.
"Are you done sleeping?" Troy's father said with an aggrivated tone. He was powerfully built from years of combat training and his head was more rounded with a military style buzz cut. The tone of his skin the shade of coffee brown and his chin was buried beneath the hairs of his grayish thin goatee.
"Not quite," Troy corrected, "I could use more shut eye. However, we know that's not going to happen," Troy then began to sit up, forwarding his eyes, squinting from the bright sunlight as he looks out the passenger window. The vehicle was park right outside a taupe stucco building, in fact it resembled a castle in Troy's eyes but this was the first time he had ever seen it. Teenagers were entering this building with book bags which gave off the indication that this was no ordinary structure, "What's this?"
"...This is your new school." Troy's father responded.
Another school? Well wasn't this just great.
"Ah..so I'm guessing this must be number 20." Troy puckered his lips as he turned to look to his father," and how long am I going to be staying here? A month or two and then be transferred once again?"
"No, this is for real this time." Troy's father inhaled since what he will say next might anger his son, "You're going to live with your uncle."
"What?" Troy erupted to a correct sitting position from the passenger seat, "Why? Isn't his house like 45 minutes from here?"
"Yeah but, this school will broaden your horizon a bit. Going to a school in the city is not the right move at this time," Troy's dad said sternly.
"Great," Troy just couldn't believe it as he slouched back in the passengers seat, "I don't know anybody, who do you expect me to trust?"
Troy's father had nothing to say at this moment, only guilt pour through the man's mind and it bother Troy when his father had no form of answer.
Troy despised this, "so you're just going to leave me here?"
Yet again his father said nothing.
"And then you wonder why I'm so heated within myself and why I lash out. This school isn't going to make anything different-"
"Okay look," Troy's father interrupt when Troy nagged about his reason for his ruthless past and his unsatisfying behavior, "we do not need a repeat of what happened at the last six schools you've been to."
"What happened at wasn't my fault," Troy began to defend himself, "those jerks came on to me-"
"You broke one kid's arm in three places and left severe second degree burns on another."
Did his father really have to remind of those horrible days? The days Troy also wanted to forget. "..Maybe-maybe they were just asking for it," Troy was just so frustrated he buckled under his defensives.
"..I am at the end of my rope. I can't afford to move and I can't put you in anymore private schools. I'd had hoped that those martial arts classes would have helped you control your anger, but it seems you're using them conflictingly to what I wanted."
"To what you wanted?...whatever.." Troy responded carelessly.
"All I'm saying is try your hardest to keep your emotions under control," Troy's father said.
"Yeah..yeah, I hear ya...I'll try to be a good boy," Troy sneered. Today was his first day at Harwood County High and he was already off to a rough start as he opened the door of the sedan.
"When I get home could we at least talk about this?" Troy had not shut the vehicle's door just yet, revealing the ceased glowing from his hands but were still warm to the touch. Troy's father wanted so badly to just comforted his son in the time of his needs but because of that his son was relentless and there were times he had to be tough and as he bit his tongue from the dishonored, he responded differently.
"..After school you're going home with your uncle, just take the public bus into Major Soul City and meet your aunt at her place of work...I've-I've been called in and I don't know how long I'm going to be this time...What more is there to talk about son? You already know the story. You know you must keep your emotions in check," Troy's dad said.
"But this isn't exactly normal...Dad," Troy scorn.
"Normal is overrated and besides it could just be a..phase." Troy's dad had to be kidding if he thought this effect on his hands was a phase after all these years. "If your worried about trust, all you have to do is trust yourself and you should be fine. Now go head on in, you don't want to miss your first class."
Troy just couldn't believe what his father was saying, but one thing Troy was able to understand was his father was abandoning him again for the army.
"Right don't be late...same goes for you. You don't want to be late because being a dad is your weakness but guns and violence is your forte...Looks like that's the only thing we have in common." Troy said brashly as he slammed the door to his father's sedan, abandoning the conversation as the young man walks towards the main entrance of the school. The acceleration of the vehicle went front 0 to 30 once Troy's father drove off. Leaving Troy behind, leaving behind all he had to return to his duty as a solider.
So Troy was going to live with his uncle or rather Aunt since his uncle was in fact a soldier too. However they lived almost an hour from this school and it bother Troy as to why he couldn't just transfer into the city, closer to the house he will now be living in. His father didn't care because if he did, they wouldn't be in this situation in the first place or was Troy really the big problem?
The dreams, the dreams that just wouldn't go away, the dreams that put an animosity for life warriors themselves, Power Rangers. It was a new day, a new school for the millionth time and Troy was going to make the best out of it. Whether people liked it or not, he was not one to be messed with and he was going to keep that image since the last time he put his kindness to use, people took it to their power to use him.
'You left one kid with 2nd degree burns.'
It wasn't his fault as to what happened at those other schools, but as for the burns, Troy didn't know how that was caused. It just happened when one kid came in with a punch and when Troy caught the punch, it almost seemed like his hand print was stamped right on the victim's knuckles. No one ever blamed Troy for that but his dad could have speculated it was him.
It was the first day of the week and Hardwood high was crowded on a Monday. It was only 20 minutes before the first bell rang. That was just enough time for Jake Hollings to make his move. Dressed in his wrinkled free black sweater and his lucky sneakers and blue jeans, he tread down the steps, spotting none other than Gia Moran.
The hottest girl in Hardwood high.
The girl was like a goddess, just everything about her was perfect. Perfect eyes, perfect lips, perfect walk, perfect voice and Jake just couldn't get enough of it. The sad thing about it was she was single.
Like how could a girl with as much caliber as her be lonely?
Maybe because no one ever had the guts to ask her out like Jake was going to right now. He then walked up to her as she removed her books from her locker.
"Um excuse me?" Jake said, leaning on the next locker to Gia. "Hi, I'm not sure if we really met, um we're in the same first period class. I'm-I'm-"
"Jake," Gia interrupted, shutting her locker, "I know."
"Ah well that's great then." Jake beamed as he ended up following her down the hall. "So um, do you have any friends? Um I'm not saying you don't I'm just wondering if um-"
"Are seriously trying to holler at my girl?" Things weren't going as planned as Jake was interrupted by the likes of Chad Harper and Frank Darrel.
Known as the school's most domineering people.
Jake scoff, before looking at Gia and then At the massiveness of Chad and his Cracker Jack, Frank,"your girl? All I was trying to do was make friends, being a friend isn't bad is it?"
"It is when it pertains to what doesn't belong to you," Frank said standing face to with Jake while Chad over towers Jake.
"I don't belong to anyone Frank." Gia came into her own defense, crossing her arms.
"Is that so," Gia should have thought first before talking back to Frank, "from what I heard you belong to a fraction of this whole school."
"Hey!" That was making Jake upset, "don't talk to her like that."
"I could defend myself Jake." Gia said, "and besides Frank, I know that everyone is allowed to act stupid once in a while but you're really abusing that privilege." Gia shot back.
"Ooooh," Jake laughed, "Now you see what happens when you messed with the wrong girl? So why don't you just go away and never come back? Then we could all start the first day without any sorts of commotion."
"Oh, and what are you going to do?" Frank got right up into Jake's face, so close that Jake couldn't take a step back when Chad blocked his way, "Nobody is scared of you. I'm the most feared man in this school, so whatever happens to you, nobody will even notice."
This encounter caught the attention of the entire school, making Frank proud of his accomplishment. Gia could have helped Jake but in the end, Jake was asking for it. He shouldn't have came to bother her, especially when everyone knew not to talk to her because it will cause problems with Chad and Frank. However, in the end, Frank and Chad were the bigger guys and Gia was the small one. If she wasn't so worried about keeping a clean record in school she would have taken them down herself, but she didn't, she stood away as the bullies squeeze Jake as they were to crush him.
The students continued to watch and no one came to Jake's rescue when the door to the main entrance opened and then slammed. The students were appalled by the student who entered the building that they all went their separate way, heads low and fearful.
Now with no one watching, Chad and Frank back away, it angered him by the uninterested crowd.
Entering the building was none other than Troy.
He walked on through the hall ignoring the hard stares erupting from Frank as Troy passed him by. The walk from Troy was bold, with not a care in the world as his facial expression showed nothing. Silence erupted in the halls as Troy stopped right before the principal's office as the male staff member said, "Hello there Mr. Burrows, I will like to have a word with you before you go on with your duties."
Troy went in and with his existence absent from the halls the students spoke again as relief from the nasty feeling in their stomachs as the students turned to normal.
"Usually the feared are noticed and the cowards are unrecognizable," Gia said in awe.
"Who is this punk?" Frank aghast on how someone he had never seen before gave off a fearful aura like that. The students stood their ground when he entered, how was that even possible?
"...I think that's the new kid." Jake said as he brushed off his shoulders as Gia went into her classroom, leaving Jake and the bullies with disorientation. Thank goodness it was all over, Gia wouldn't have to live with the burden if something happened to that stupid guy. Gia knew all Jake wanted was to ask her out, like every other boy in this school which she politely told them no but in her own brash kind of way.
Though that new kid, just wow. Gia heard a bunch of stories about him but never would she had expected to see him. He was much broader than she expected and much more dainty than others have described him, however, it wouldn't hurt for him to smile.
"Hi, Emma!" Once Gia entered the classroom she was over joyed to Emma sitting alone in class as Emma rose up from her chair, embracing Gia in a hug.
"Gia!" Emma said cheerfully.
"What are you doing here? I thought you were staying home today?" Gia said, gently pulling away from the long hair brunette girl.
"No not today, my dad thought it will be best if I come and I figure he was right. I gotta stop using my mom's passing as an excuse." Emma said as she sat back in her seat while Gia sat next to Emma and just next to the entrance of the classroom.
"It's not an excuse Emma, you're still mourning so it's good to take the time off when needed," Gia said.
"Thanks, Gia but I missed too much school and I'm way behind," Emma said.
"The school newspaper hasn't been the same." Gia spoke again, "You know the biggest report was just the change of food in the cafeteria."
"Really?" Emma sighed, "well I'm in for it today. I have my first interview starting today. The new kid."
"Whoa really?" That lit up Gia's bright big blue eyes, "You're so lucky."
"Why would you think that?" Emma asked.
"Well have you've had a look at him?"
"Kind of, I just saw pictures of him," Emma said as a smile curled on her face when Gia blushed. "Don't tell me you like him Gia?"
"No," Gia chuckled, "No, I just think he's pretty cute, and I don't say that about anyone."
"That's true," Emma smiles and then frowned as she sighed, "to tell you the truth I'm a little nervous about interviewing him."
"Why?"
"Well have you've seen these question?" Emma handed Gia a slip of questions, "he sounds like a really terrible person. I'm not sure we should be giving someone like that any time to shine."
"Well," Gia looked closer to the questions before handing them back to Emma, "don't think of it as a bad thing. We don't know what he's really been through to even judge. Like this world, for example, always being overthrown by aliens and of course myself for example."
"I guess you're right. Well," Emma sighed as she dug the question slip back into her pink bag, "we'll see later on today. He is in this first class, after all, we'll see if he isn't as bad as the school makes him out to be."
"He's in this period?" Gia couldn't help herself when suddenly the bell rang and the rest of the class began to storm into the room including Jake who was accompanied by a medium skin male teenager with nappy hair and glasses resting over his nose. Jake waved and that only made Gia roll her eyes as she kept her gaze away from the obsessed young man.
"It will be better if you sat up Mr. Burrows." The male principal demanded as he went around his desk while Troy slouched in the seat before it. Troy was comfortable but he didn't need more of a bad rep on his school record as he forced himself to sit up straight. The principal being very straight forward was not going to give Troy any type of wiggle room.
"Just so you know Mr. Burrows, your father and the school board were very clear when you were enrolled here."
"Clear? Clear about what?" Troy asked sternly.
"One more mishap, one single step out of line, one visit to my office and I can expel you on the spot. No recounts, no respawns."
"Well I do respawn a lot," Troy assured with his hands together and on his lap, "but that doesn't necessarily mean I'm the bad guy here."
"About 19 schools says you are and this being the 20th I'm surprised you don't have any sympathy as to the chances we all have given you. Your dad being a respected force to protect our lives and you still show no remorse. One mistake and I can send you out the door. Do we have an understanding?"
Without any protest Troy nodded just as the principal opened the door, letting Troy return to class.

Finally, after all that's happened in the morning it was time for class...class with Mister Burley.
"Okay, class. Let's start the year with a science brain teaser." Mr. Burley was ready to start the class once he placed his suit case on his desk as he paced the floor, putting his attention to the students. "What species will outlast all others on earth?"
Emma knew this one and she was very sure on her answer. Maybe participating will get her mind off the last few months and off the interview she was to do later on today as she rose her hand.
"Emma?" called upon her.
"Insects, they'll survive all the bad stuff we're doing to the environment," Emma said. "Some of them have lots legs. They'll be the last ones standing."
That was a very interesting answer but not to another student who had the need to respond. It was the same kid who walked in with Jake as he wore a blue collared shirt and rose his hand profusely.
"Dude calm down, you're going to hurt yourself," Jake whispered to the male student as he sat behind them.
"She's wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong." The student was anxious for Mr. Burley to call on him when finally he did.
"Yes, Noah, you have a different answer?"
"Robots. Robots powered by perpetual motion engines." That student was Noah.
"Robots are machines. So technically they're not a species." Gia had spoken in her attempt to correct Noah as well as come to her friend's aid which made Noah scoff but Jake melted when Gia spoke.
"Beautiful and smart," Jake said softly.
"And wrong," Noah said back with a smile when the door opened and there was Troy about 10 minutes late to class as he closed the door behind him.
"Ah, you must be Troy. Nice of you to join us." greeted but Troy had not said a word back, not even eye contact with the teacher. His eyes scanned quickly to the last seat to the row next to Jake and Noah but a seat behind.
"Maybe you can answer our brain teaser. What species will survive all others?"
Troy needed to answer this one fast," Us, humans." He said as he took a seat which put a wonder upon 's eyes.
"How's that, Troy?" asked.
'Umm,' Troy thought, he even thought of what his dad will say, the father that he would not be seeing for a while after today. "If humans work together, we can overcome anything." That was Troy's answer, it may have been stupid and corny but that was all he had. Above all that is what his father had told him once before and Troy believed it, but now he didn't. Yet what else was Troy going to say? Insects robots? He would have guessed someone else would have given the most logical answer so this was Troy's, but in the end, he was being sarcastic. If Humans could overcome anything then maybe they would have been better parents and probably raise a better son.
"Hmm." Emma hummed to herself as she chuckled softly with Gia. Maybe interviewing this new kid wouldn't be so bad after all.
"Okaay." Mr. Burly was surprised, "Interesting. I certainly hope Troy is right.

High above in the atmosphere of space, the alien space ship looms close to earth. Blue in color and shape of an arachnid and inside the central bridge, an alien creature peered down on the earth below through a viewing screen. The alien had wings as a cape, moth wings to be exact that were colored in red, white purple and yellow but its eyes could be seen for miles as they flowed through the sight of space.
"Creepox, what are the bio organisms like on this planet?" The moth winged creature on the ship asked when through his massive viewing screen lied another insect with massive talons that took up the size of its hand.
"The organisms here are a very weak admiral, they won't give us any trouble. We will be able to carry out our plans easily." Creepox responded.
"Are you sure about that because the ship has registered thousands of strong activity on this planet?"
"Not to worry, I've seen no sign of a threat," Creepox said.
"Not even that giant head?" The Moth Admiral inquired.
"That either, we are in the clear."
"Excellent, remain on standby and continue to observe, I will inform you of our next move," Said the admiral.
"As you command Admiral," Creepox replied as he walked on the terrace of Earth.
After a few steps, a voice called out in the silence on the earth's turf were Creepox sauntered, "Creepox!"
The insectoid looked around, scoping to find the voice that had called him when his eyes settled on a cloaked figure faced away from him.
"What do you want!?" Creepox challenged.
"Just to hear your status on finding the Equilizer," The cloaked figure said.
"I told you before, our deal is off. I want no part in your hunt," Creepox said.
"Are you reneging? We've come so far the two of us, and besides what has your Emperor or Admiral done for you? You're supposed to be a general right? Then why are you here doing grunt work?" The figure asked.
"What do you mean!? The Admiral thinks highly of me, that's why he sent me so that everything goes according to his plan," Creepox defended.
"...Remember that time when I said you were cool...I was lying. I knew that by complimenting you and boosting your ego it would be easy to manipulate you. If ignorance was bliss then you must be the happiest creature in the universe. Look at you, Vrak is higher up the ladder than you all because of who his father is," The figure said.
"That's not true! Vrak was essential in our separation from the Armada. If it wasn't for him our attempt to revel would have been enough for the emperor to have us executed." Creepox snapped.
"Believe what you want, but what if I told you that Vrak was still loyal to his father and he was merely spying on you?"
"You're lying!" Creepox said.
"I could be, but just know that I have eyes and ears places too. If the time ever comes when you want to be on the winning side you know how to find me." Passing over the head, a red space ship loomed over head. Both sides of the control center twin cannons were armed keeping the vessel in place. A line shot down as the figure took hold of the rope.
"Isn't that one of the armada ships?!" Creepox asked.
"It was," the figure said, "Before I go, Creepox, you know like I always say. In order to win you have to lose." Then the ship pulled him always as it flew off and into space.
"...Pirates," Creepox cursed as he trudged on.
(This Intro is not saying their names.)
The first school day had come to an end as the students rushed out one by one. Gia and Emma were in no rush to leave as they made their way to their lockers, packing their bags to leave.
"Coming to Ernies?" Gia had to remind Emma since after school they will usually hang out at the mall and spend the day doing their homework there and at the juice shop. However since the death of Emma's mother, it became difficult to do such a thing but today she was determined to go, she wasn't going to let Gia down after months of not going.
"Yeah but first I have to interview the new guy and then head over to the woods. The orange monarch butterflies are migrating and it's like a once in a lifetime event." Emma said as he put away her books but one had slipped out of her locker just as Gia caught it and handed it to back to Emma. Gia was alway so swift and confident, something Emma was not or so jittery when the hallways became silent again and there Troy marched out the door as the door slammed behind him.
This was going to be tough.
"I'll meet you a little later," Emma said to Gia as she closed her locker then pulling her book bag over her shoulders as she headed to catch up with Troy the new kid, but suddenly she had to turn back when she forgot to ask Gia, "Oh order me—"
"I know. A low-fat cherry berry strawberry with carob chips but no hot fudge." Gia didn't forget and that made Emma proud to have Gia as a friend as she walked out the front door. As they both smiled at each other Gia shut her locker as she exited through a different exit, just passing by Jake who hid his composure by drinking from the water fountain. That's it, Gia was a legit goddess. From her feet all the way up to the roots of her blonde luscious hair that seemed to glow through the light.
He did hear she was going to be at Ernie's brain freeze and Jake did love it there, that could actually be his break to ask her out on a date as he wanted too earlier. He smiled brightly as he went to retrieve Noah who was still fuddling with his bag inside the classroom. This time Jake was going to go with someone in case Frank and Chad ever found him pulling a fast one on Gia.
"Come on, dude!" Jake said loudly by the door way, "Gia is headed to Ernie's brain freeze. Let's motor."
"Jake, she's the hottest girl at this school, do you really think you have a chance?" Noah was trying to make a point as he struggled to zip up his book bag. Noah was just stalling and Jake was losing patience as held his soccer ball in his hands.
"Let's go! Come on!" Jake demanded softly as he pulled Noah to the door.
"Okay, okay fine. But you're buying." Noah whined and once they made it out the classroom they were stalled for time even more.
"And where do you think you're going?" It was Frank again and this time he was accompanied by two other colleagues of his along with Chad. Jake didn't want to deal with this right now, especially when Noah was standing right behind as he tries to sidestep Frank.
"Uh-ah." Frank shook his head, stopping Jake from leaving, "Your girlfriend isn't here to protect you now."
"She's not my girlfriend," Jake said.
"I know I just wanted to hear you say it." Frank smiled which caused Jake to clench his jaw from that.
"Leave us alone Frank, leave everybody alone." Noah came into Jake's defense.
"Yeah, don't you have detention to get to or something?" Jake said as well.
"Oh so you came out of the closet? I always knew you didn't like girls." Frank began to make fun of how close Jake and Noah were, "That's why Gia would never love you after you stooped this low."
If Frank thought that was going to bother Jake he must be joking, "Come on Noah we don't need to deal with this right now." Jake said when suddenly more bullies arrived.
"Did I say you could leave yet?" Frank said.
"We don't need your authorization to leave," Noah responded which made Frank laugh as it caused a chain of laughs with the other bullies.
"Hahahaha. You forgot that I run this school, I'm tired of dweebs such as your self ruining my school." Frank said with pride.
Noah scoffed, "So this is your school? If that were true you will be at home and living the high life but instead, you're stuck with the rest of us. Which also makes you a dweeb as well."
"Oooohhh." Jake instigated yet again and that resulted in a punch to his face. Jake wanted to keep hyping stuff so Frank let him have it as he gripped Noah by the collar.
"You really wanna play it like that?" Frank was getting angry, "what are you going to do blue boy, wearing the blue shirt? You have all that brain but you're too afraid to fight."
That was not true, in fact, Noah wanted so badly to hit Frank right here but he didn't. He thought of his reputation and his own pride as he swelled harshly not to act on anger "Because I have respect and if you did, you would release me."
"If you say so." Frank smiled and at that instant, he pushed Noah with great force that Noah fell on top of Jake who was barely getting to his feet by the pain of his swollen nose. Noah gritted his teeth he clenched his fist as Frank walked away laughing. Had this only been a few years ago Frank would think twice before messing with him, but with his reputation in mind, Noah took a deep breath as his anger subsided.
Emma stood by the steps of the school, staring and thinking as Troy stood from a far as he waited for the public bus to arrive. She didn't understand why she was so frightened to even talk to the guy, he seemed like a nice guy when he came to class this morning but all the stories she heard about him said otherwise. Taking in two deep breaths she steps down one step and then the another until she reaches Troy.
"Um excuse me?" Emma smiled as he looked at her with a raised eyebrow and then placed his gaze back to the road.
"Excuse me, do you have a minute?" Emma asked again when he didn't officially answer.
"I don't." He finally responded and Troy didn't want to be bothered, mainly because this was the 30th girl who bothered him in one day.
"Um, I swear this will only take about 2 minutes. I'm one of the editors for the Clear View newspaper at school. I'm in the same class as you." she said.
"You are?" Troy said, looking at her from top to bottom, "Who are you again?"
"Emma Goodall." Emma introduced herself politely but frown when Troy closed his eyes, yawning profusely which indicated to Emma that it wasn't a good time, "You must be pretty tired, huh?"
"Is that the first question?" Troy asked, "Very creative."
"...No, actually that's not," Emma responded as she pulled out her binder of questions and a pencil to write the answers. "Actually the first questions is-is it true that you once beat up ten students after an altercation with a girl?"
Emma could tell Troy didn't like that question when he looked at her with cold eyes, "and why would a good girl like you want to dirty herself with my laundry?"
"...I'm-I'm not that much of a good girl." Emma said as she brushed to the next question,"Are you planning on joining any clubs?"
Troy puckered his lips ignoring her second question, "So you're not a good girl? Maybe you're right, those shorts are a millimeter above the length requirement. You are a total rebel." He said.
Emma narrowed her eyes, scoffing in the process, "Are you avoiding my questions?"
"Not necessarily, I'm just speaking my mind. In interviews, you speak your mind."
"Well then, how long do you plan on staying in school?" Emma asked another question and that was Troy's breaking point, asking questions about his life.
"Okay now that's a question that can't be answered but I'll tell you what. Since I like you and people say I've no taste, but I do you like you. School hours are over so my advice to you is don't think, it might sprain your brain and who ever gave you these questions you can tell them that I'm so glad they aren't letting their education get in the way of their ignorance." That wasn't only true but that was harsh and Emma had no way to counteract that as the bus arrived. The bus had saved Emma from any more harm as Troy pulled away from being mere inches from her face as he went into the bus. The doors hadn't closed yet which Troy turned away as he said, "Don't think I'm not insulting you and your friends, I'm just describing you and your friends."
The door shut and the bus took off.
Troy, the guy should have been named Richard in that case. Emma had thought those rumor about him were completely false, especially when he gave out that answer in class. However, it also proved that what he had said was just insincerity.
High above in the freezing void of space, the warstar space ship looms close to earth. In the central bridge, two alien creatures gathered.
"How many did we lose in the last attack General Vrak?" A humanoid moth creature asked as he stared at the blue planet below through his viewing screen.
"The casualties were great Admiral Malkor, unfortuneatly we are the only survivors. We were fortuneate enough to escape the Armada with our ship intact, but a majority of our fleet was lost," The alien was also cobalt in color but its eyes could be seen for miles as they flowed through the sight of space.
"Then we shall rest here for the time being. We'll invade this planet and use its inhabitants to reform our army. Send down a squadron of loogies, they will weed out the weak from the strong,"
"As you command Admiral," the cobalt alien, Vrak said.
On the beach outside the city limits there exists a restricted section which no one is permitted to set foot on. With in this restricted section, there is a unique rock formation that is mounted on a ridge over looking the whole beach. Hidden away up top the mountain an industrial fan turns slowly in a dark room.
In the center of the room, five pedastools arose from the ground and one after another began to power on, the screens begining to glow in the colors of Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, and Pink. On opposite sides of the room, two strips of transparent glass show a row of small colorful figures standing side by side; ranger keys. Lastly, on the furthest wall from the entrance, a silver and gold tiki head was mounted. Its eyes powered on glowing in green light as the frame around the head its self glowed in blue.
"Awake?" The figure questioned as it took to its surroundings. "Tensou? Tensou where are you?" The head called out.
Rolling in from the entrance a three-foot-tall robot with a rounded triangular body, solar panels on it's back, and a rectangular head with three camera lenses arranged horizontally for eyes.
"Gosei? What is it? Why have we been awake?" The helper robot Tensou asked.
"There could only be one reason we have been awakened from our stasis sleep, the Armada has found their way to earth," The figure known as Gosei said.
"The Armada?! But didn't your master vanquish them more than 15 years ago?" Tensou asked.
"He did indeed, but it appears the remnants of that fleet has managed to rebuild their strength and now one of their ships has managed to find their way to earth. It won't be long before the rest of the fleet arrives, we must prepare for their arrival by assembling a team of heroes to confront them."
"Shall I issue a distress call? There is a great number of individuals still loyal to the teachings and foosteps of your mentor, with them on our side we'll have more than enough power to defeat them." Said Tensou.
"You're right Tensou, but the powers of many who came before have been damaged and buried deep within the morphin grid, we are in need of a new team to help revitalize these powers," Gosei said.
"But how Gosei and Who?" Tensou asked.
"We shall scour the globe and find 5 new heroes who are worthy, and we'll use them to draw out the full power of the morphin grid and hopefully restore the energies of their predecessors."
"Wait a second, when you or your master say new team that typically means-"
"Yes Tensou, teenagers."

"Man I can't stand those guys. Just one day I would just like dig my fist right into Frank's face." Noah was all fired up after the altercation at school. Already they made it at the hardwood county mall and when we're just entering the building and Noah had nothing more but anger hidden inside him as he ranted. Jake, on the other hand, was still coping with the stinging from before and Noah had insisted they go to a doctor but Jake was too stubborn to go when he knew this might of been the only opportunity Jake had to ask Gia out with no one they knew
to be around.
"Ahh," Jake whines as he messaged his nose.
"Are you sure you're okay?" Noah asked adjusting his glasses.
"Yeah I-ahh, I'm just going to have a swollen one for a couple of days." Jake moaned to his best friend shaking his head with annoyance.
"That wouldn't have happened if you would have just left Gia alone," Noah admitted the truth.
"What?" Jake scoffed with a smile as he stood up straight, ignoring the urging temptation to place ice on his nose, "No way. You may not think I have a chance but I can see it way past the future. Though one thing I can't see is you hitting anyone."
Noah thought Jake wasn't even paying attention to what he said early.
"If you want to be better at fighting..." Jake snickered, "I told you to take martial arts classes."
"I rather take sword classes than that." Noah rolled his eyes.
"I've gotten 5 years experience and it helped me to be as patient as I am today or I would have killed those guys," Jake said which caused Noah to sigh in displeasure at Jake's stubborn confidence, something he wished he had.
"Hey look, Ernie's has a new flavor," just before entering another part of the mall Jake pulled Noah's attention to a poster outside an ice cream shop. It was an advertisement of the legendary mighty morphin power rangers and an ice cream as Jake read, "to celebrate the greatness of power rangers we are serving our newest flavor Rocky rainbow, which is a blend of strawberry, lemon, blueberry, and apple ice cream."
Yuck...
"I rather have Vanilla, that's way too much sugar and even vanillas bad, but it's better than a mixture of all of those," Noah said.
"10 bucks?" Jake was shocked at the price.
"And expensive," Noah added.
"But it's power ranger ice cream it should be free," Jake said.
"Well just think of the power rangers protecting this world for free...if they just were as tantamount as comic book heroes." Said Noah which got him thinking, "I wish I was a power ranger, then bullies like Frank and his gang would just leave me alone."
"What? If you were a power ranger than that means this city is at danger." Jake joked, "You don't need to be a power ranger, you have me. You see with us as a team we are just as indestructible as an oil spill." Jake said as he enters the froyo.
"Now that's just racist." Noah followed after.
"I told you I'm black Noah."
"No, you're not," Noah responded but Jake didn't reply to that just as his eyes caught a glimpse of why he came to the Froyo in the first place. Gia was siting all alone. Well not entirely alone, she did have her homework to keep her busy and Jake thought her friend would have been with her. This just made his attempt to ask her out easier than he thought.
"Hey chaps, what can I get for you?" Jake and Noah it took amongst themselves to sit at the front counter of what was called Ernie's brain freeze as well as the Froyo. The Indian owner was the only person working at his shop as he kindly asked Jake and Noah for their orders.
"The usual," Noah answered without thought.
"Uh, but make it three." Jake intervened as he cradled his soccer ball under his left arm, "One for each of us and one for the pretty girl in the corner."
"Sure." The owner Ernie had the awareness of a grin on his face when Jake order as he went to retrieve the ice cream cones.
Gia did have her own drink so what would make Jake think she'll want what he had to offer. Jake was just a try hard and no matter how much Noah tried to convince the guy, just wouldn't stop trying. This made Noah see Gia differently because whenever she was around, trouble always arises as Noah shook his head and sighed.

What a lousy way to start the first day of school. Being a reporter was a hobby but being a photographer was her passion. At least whatever she took an image of wouldn't snap back at her after the cruel words Troy had hurled at her today.
She just wanted to cry after that but after months of mourning over her own mother, she decided to be strong and remember the recitations of words and stones. The young man she interviewed though was mysterious and gave off the impression that he wasn't a great guy. A dry yet zealous individual in his own way.
At least the forest remained the same. Peaceful and dazzling like her mother was. She missed her mother very much and wished she was around when she was feeling down as today. Though when Emma would bike through the forest it felt as if her mother was present as the wind blew between the follicles of her long brown hair.
Not only that but the monarch butterflies were just as admiring as her mother was. How they would just blossom from an innocent caterpillar and into a courageous butterfly.
"You are so beautiful," She whispered when she had hoped off of her bike and snapped a photo of a monarch buttery, resting on a branch. She snapped three shot as the butterfly flew up and off the branch. It was just so mesmerizing to watch and at least the butterfly didn't talk back to her as she adjusted the focus on her lens. It was blurry at first but what came through her camera had frightened her.
"What is that?" Emma was scared as she quickly bolted behind a tree to a supernatural creature inspiring a scent from behind him.
"I smell a human!" Creepox growled as a frighten Emma shivered behind the trunk of a tree. A super natural creature of that size could only mean one thing, intruders have once again found their place to attack earth. Emma was all alone, only the birds and bees accompanied her as Creepox began to creep closer to the scent of hers.
"Come out come out where ever you are!"

"Here you go," it only took Ernie 2 minutes to prepare 3 vanilla cones from his ice cream machine.
"Thank you," That was quick enough for Jake who was anticipating to pay for the ice cream.
"6 bucks." Ernie smiled when he told Jake the total as Noah walked a couple of steps away to claim some napkins for his cone. Jake hoped Gia was watching because he was about to impress her with something the other guys couldn't. Flashing his 20 bucks he earned washing the dishes at his home he handed it to Ernie with a smirk, "Twenty." He said with such confidence.
"20 bucks?" Ernie was startled that a teenager was giving him more than just quarters from laundry day,"I'll ring you up." Ernie wasn't even sure it was a real 20 dollar bill that he rose it over his eyes as he went to the cash register.
Emma was taking a little longer than usual an hour extra to be exact. Not a signal phone call or even a text to inform Gia that she was on her way and that worried her to the point that Gia never really worried about anyone. Not to mention show it to others and as she was about to write down her last answer to homework assignment and then afterward call Emma, something began to crawl up her legs and up her elbows in a yellow cyclone effect as the pencil she once held dropped when she was nowhere to hold it.
A little after Gia's disappearance Jake looked back "Where'd she go?" Jake wondered when he noticed she had vanished but her book bag and papers remained on the table. Despite that Noah was also being sucked into a cyclone of blue energy rushing up his body.
"Noah?" When Jake turned to seek information from Noah as to where Gia went he was gone as well.
"Noah!" Everyone had vanished and so did Jake when suddenly a cyclone of purple energy swallowed him.

Up atop a sky rise roof top, Troy waited patiently. Throwing punches and preforming side kicks as his method of alleviation. Troy had no keys to his uncle's house and the bus ride took even longer than expected because of traffic. His aunt had about 15 minutes left before she went home and the bus ride from his school will only go up to his Aunt's place of work.
He resented his dad for condeming him to this place, he hated constantly being moved around either because of his father's military service or because of his accidents, he especially hated how his reputation always proceeded him which causes others to judge him before they got to know him. The first time it happened, he was in preschool and this one kid stole the toy he was playing with. Troy became so angry that he glowed with crimson energy. Long story short he was never bothered in that place again.
From then on, things only seemed to get worse and every time the problem some how connected back to Troy's powers. The dreams didn't help either, they started sprouting up once Troy hit puberty. Power Rangers. The colorful protectors of the planet were a vile and meaningless commodity. Many praised them as heroes but Troy saw through their facade. The destruction they brought upon a city via their giant battles or collateral from their enemies makes the masked vigilantes as guilty as the foes they defeat.
As a means to help him control his emotions, Troy's parents enrolled him in martial arts classes. Learning to fight did help him control his emotions but it also turned his body into a weapon.
Atop the roof of his Aunt's workplace, Troy practiced the final combination of attacks that won him the rank of black belt. At the end of the series, he always leaps into the air with a kick aimed toward his opponent's head. Troy grabbed hold of the water bottle his aunt had given him as he tossed it into the air. He leaped off the ground to meet the plastic bottle with his foot when suddenly a tingling sensation spread throughout his body as he vanished in a cyclone of red light.
The bottle fell to the ground as Troy had vanished.

The cyclone spat the teens out onto a stone floor, in the corner above them along the wall of the cave a small industrial fan turned slowly as its shadow was cast onto the ground. Jake awoke to see a stone wall and his ice cream now free from their cones.
"Aww!" Jake complained noticing his wasted treat. "How the-what just happened?" Jake questioned.
"Hey Jake, get up, look," Noah said as he frantically roused Jake.
Across the room, the new kid Troy was sitting proped against the wall as he too was waking. On the ground right next to Jake was none other than Gia who was yet to wake. Jake's pulse quickened as the girl of his dreams and fantasies was lying right next to him.
"Psst, Noah get a picture before she wakes up!" Jake whispered.
"Too late," Noah responded as Jake looked behind him to see that Gia was waking up.
Troy was the first to his feet, his eyes darting around the room quickly taking note of the one-inch ranger figures lining the walls. His heart started to pound as the figures of his nightmares now surrounded him. There had to be a reason. Someone must be responsible. Troy locked eyes with someone he recognized from his class, the boy Noah. Troy marched to Noah gripping him by the collar.
"You! You seem smart, care to explain where I am and how I got here?" Troy asked glaring daggers at Noah.
"Hey man, I know as much as you do at the moment, I just woke up here like you," Noah said.
"Likely story," Troy replied.
"It's true bro, none of us know how we got here," Jake defended putting a hand on both Troy and Noah's shoulders trying to separate them.
Troy looked at the faces of the two boys as he sighed loudly releasing his grip. "Fine," he patroled the length of the base. The sight of the rangers caused a sickening feeling to swell in Troy's stomach. Gia was quick to spot Troy's violent outburst, she guessed that the rumors might've been true. Gia had to talk to him, he was an enigma, a mystery, someone who might actually be worth her time.
"Hey, I'm Gia," Gia said as she stood beside Troy, her blue eyes lost on his profile. Troy remained silent, his breathing became more hastened as his jaw clenched. "...Hey," she said again gripping his wrist and tricept and shaking him slightly.
At that moment what ever trance Troy was in broke as he shook his head attempting to wipe the vision of the army of rangers from his mind.
"Are you alright?" Gia asked battering her crystal blue eyes which seemed to pop thanks to her black eyeliner.
"I'm fine...I-It's just, I've seen these before...in my dreams," Troy said.
"I've seen them before too, on the news and online, they're power rangers, dude. Everybody has heard of them," Gia said.
Troy rolled his eyes. "I know everyone has heard of them, I'm not an idiot. It's just..." Troy paused scratching his chin thinking of what to say. His eyes widened as the lightbulb went off, "...none of your business."
At that moment a swirling cloud of pink particles swirled dispensing Emma on to the cave ground.
"Whoa, how'd I get here?" Emma wondered as she looked around to see the others.
"Whoa, two hotties in one place? This must be my lucky day," Jake whispered to Noah.
"Shut up dude," Noah responded.
"Emma?" Gia said stunned as she helped her friend to her feet.
"Gia! How did I get here? Where exactly is here anyway? One minute I'm in the forest capturing the migration of orange butterflies, next thing I know this giant insect thing attacked me and now I'm here," Emma said.
"Giant insect thing?" Troy scoffed, "Yeah right,"
"Hey, guys look," Noah said alerting every one the 5 pedestals placed around the room. The 5 screens showed captured images of the 5 teens in their personal lives.
"Whoever brought us here has been watching us for a long time," he said as a door in the back of the room opened and the robot assistant Tensou wheeled himself in.
"It worked! It worked! That old teleportation mechanism worked!" He chanted.
"What the heck is that thing!" Gia shouted as the teens whipped behind them.
"Facinating," Noah said adjusting his glasses, kneeling down to observe the robotic specimen closer. "An old school robot, like in the movies!" Noah said as he tried to grab Tensou.
"Hey, I'm not old!" Tensou shouted as he zapped Noah with a weak electric shock.
"What are you then? A servant droid?" Jake asked.
"No, I'm Tensou! A guardian of the earth...in training," the robot responded. He wheeled toward the front of the room. "Gosei! Gosei! It worked, the teleportation worked!" Tensou said.
One by one the main lights of the cave powered on, as at the head of the room the face of Gosei powered on.
"Welcome Humans, your lives are about to change forever."
