Chapter Two

The First Meeting

August 3rd, 1991

"Harry James Potter! Megan Lillian Black!" roared Dani as she walked into the living room.

A young boy with glasses and black messy hair that covered his scar and a girl with brown wavy hair with gray eyes appeared. Dani looked at them with angry eyes. It was common knowledge that she had a temper that matches her best friend, Lily's fiery temper. Harry and Megan audibly gulped as they had no idea what trouble they have got into, though they do always get into trouble due to the pranks and stuff like that, but the two of them haven't done anything yet.

"Explain this now!" exclaimed Dani as she pointed to a broken vase. Harry shrugged while Megan was stunned and in deep thought of what they did earlier in the day.

"Oops." Said a familiar voice.

The three of them turned their heads and saw Sirius Black, Harry's Godfather and Megan's father standing in the door arch. He was in his den, trying to think of a perfect excuse for the broken vase because truthfully, he hated it and it was from her mother-in-law.

"Sirius Orion Black!" cried Dani. "WHAT DID YOU DO TO IT?"

"Dani, I love you?" Sirius shrugged, while the kids chuckled. "Zip it kids, or there is no more chocolate milkshakes for you!"

The kids sobered up while Dani glared at Sirius "That will not work on me, Sirius."

"Come on, Dani, Sweetheart." He walked closer to Dani while Dani turned her head toward one of the walls. "Dani, I swear, it was an accident."

Dani stared at the vase then at Sirius. She sighed and muttered 'Reparo' at the broken vase which flew back to its original spot then turned her body and cuddled to Sirius while looking into Sirius' gray eyes.

"Don't ever do this again or it is to the Doghouse for you, Padfoot."

Sirius audibly gulped while the kids chuckled again.

"Now that's over, can I go to the pond in the forest?" asked Harry.

" but be careful, there are a few animals living there." replied Sirius.

Harry nodded and turned to Megan and asks her. "Megan, want to come?"

"No but thanks anyway. I was reading before this shouting happened."

"What were you reading?" asked Dani.

"History of Quidditch through the Years." answered Megan.

"Alright, I'll be back later." said Harry.

Harry walked to the door while Sirius and Dani sat down on the couch. Meg walked back into the library to finish her reading. Harry looked out at the beautiful view of Ottery St. Catchpole. Harry had been living here for 9 years since his parents were murdered because of Voldemort. Yes, he knew what happened to him and his family that night. Voldemort killed his parents and but survived. He asked Dani one day about the nightmares he had when he was still little.

-Flashback-

October 23rd, 1987

"MOMMY! DADDY!" cried Harry as he woke up from his nightmare.

"Harry?" said Dani as she appeared in his room after hearing his shout.

"I had a nightmare about a strange man killing my mommy and daddy."

"Oh, Harry. said Dani as she sit down and cuddled her godson. "It's normal to have dreams about your parents but it is unwise to linger on those dreams."

"Dani, can you tell me about them, please?" whimpered Harry as he cuddled further into his godmother who had been like a mother to him.

Dani cleared her throat as Sirius appeared in the room.

"Sirius, Harry wants to know about his parents. You knew his father as well as I knew Lily, his mother, well."

Sirius was unsurprised as well. He knew Harry had his father's fun, pranking personality but had his mother's heart and knowledge.

"Alright, do you want to start or shall I?"

"Let you start it first."

Sirius sat down on a chair and looked at Harry who was looking at him with eyes that matched his mother's eyes.

"Your father was one of my best friends and was like a brother to me. I was an outcast by my own family but your father's family took me in."

"Why did your family disown you?" asked Harry.

"Because they were into Dark Arts and supported Voldemort's movement against muggles and squibs, but I was on the other side to protect people against them. Your mother and father were on that side too as was Dani. We were fighting left and right."

"Sirius, you got there too fast."

"Sorry, sweetheart." Sirius chuckled and kissed Dani on the lips.

"Eww, germs." exclaimed Harry.

"Harry! Kissing is not a bad thing. Someday, you will find a beautiful girl that you love with all of your heart and you will kiss her just like we do though you better don't go too far there till your seventeen."

"Why would I kiss a girl that has cooties?"

"Harry, you are very young but you will experience hormones when you are a teenager, just wait, you will forget about cooties and want to kiss her in broom closets at Hogwarts, trust me. Girls love that."

"Sirius Orion Black!"

Harry laughed while Sirius whined at Dani's raised voice.

"It's the truth, honestly!" exclaimed Sirius, while waving his hands in the air.

Dani groaned while Sirius shrugged and Harry continued to laugh.

"Anyway, your mother was my best friend like your father was to him." Dani pointed to Sirius, who flashed his dashing smile at her. "At first, she didn't like him at all till sixth year when they both fell in love."

"How did they fall in love with each other if she hated him?"

"She didn't hate him. Just disliked him till the end of fifth year."

"Fifth year?" asked Harry.

"It's a long story for another time. The point is that your parents loved you so much. Just seeing you in your mother's arms were very happy feelings and your father had this goofy smile on his face and kept reminding us many times that he was the father and loved you so much."

"Thanks, Sirius and Dani. I'm going to sleep. Good night."

"Good night Harry. We love you, just like your parents love you and still do."

"Love you too." Sirius and Dani smiled at Harry while he went back to sleep, dreaming happy memories about his mom and dad.

-Flashback ends-

"Grr, I swear Ron is an idiot lying pig!" said a female voice that made Harry feel strangely good. Harry looked up from the ground and saw long, beautiful red hair sitting against the bark of a tree by the pond. Harry froze in his tracks. She was the most beautiful girl Harry had ever seen. She had a few freckles on her face and has pretty, gorgeous chocolate brown eyes. He went into some bushes and looked at her, taking in her gorgeous face and hair.

'Wow. She is definitely a beautiful angel.' thought Harry.

'Why thank you, sir.' He heard a female voice in his head.

"Wait, how did you know what I thought?" said Harry, forgetting that he used his voice to talk instead of inside voice.

"Who is there?" cried the girl as she looked around.

Harry got up from his hiding spot. The girl looked at him. He was handsome she thought to herself. Those vibrant green, emerald eyes with that cute, unruly black hair that looked like it will never settle down.

'It's true. It will never settle down no matter what.'

'How did you know what I thought?'

'Wait. You can hear me?'

'Yes. I can.'

"Wicked!" Both said at the same time causing Harry to chuckle and the girl to giggle. Both sobered up awhile later. Both shook each other's hands that caused both of them to feel an amazing feeling that couldn't be descried. After a few minutes of silence the girl spoke up. Both never attempted to release the other's hand.

"I'm Ginny Weasley."

"I'm Harry Potter."

"Harry Potter. The Boy Who Lived?" asked Ginny.

"Yep, that's me, though I hate that nickname."

"Why? Oh, I don't want to be rude. I shouldn't have asked." She looked down blushing.

"It's ok, I don't mind being asked by you, Gin-Gin." smiled Harry while Ginny blushed even more at the nickname. Harry did not know why he gave her a nickname but it felt so natural to call her that.

"Thanks, Harry."

"The reason why I hate that nickname is that it reminds me of my parents' murder."

"How? You were just one year old."

"My Godf- Godmother told me about it." Harry quickly added though he felt bad lying to her.

"Oh, who is your godmother if you don't mind me asking?"

Harry wanted to lie to her to protect her because everyone still thinks Sirius is the betrayer of his family and that led to his parent's death though it was really Peter Pettigrew and Albus Dumbledore all along. He couldn't tell her because she might want to be Harry's friend and for some reason he felt that she could be a possible romantic interest in the future if Harry played his card right though he didn't know how would change in a few moments. He just couldn't lie to her even though he had lied a lot of times to his guardians just to get out of trouble. He felt compelled to tell her everything about himself but only responded with "Daniella Black." Harry finally told her.

"Daniella Black, the wife of Sirius Black, the person who killed your parents?"

"That's a lie!" shouted Harry through Ginny flinched a little bit. "Sorry, Gin-Gin, but he didn't kill them."

"If he didn't kill them then who was it that killed your parents?"

"Peter Pettigrew."

"Who is that?"

"A strange, fatty man who was a former best friend to my father and Sirius. He betrayed them. He was a mole from the beginning. Sirius had him captured but he had to take me home so he could take him to the Ministry of Magic but before he returned,Dumbledore had let him get away and framed Sirius for everything."

"Dumbledore? I knew there were funny things said about him. He is a very strange person to me."

"He is not the good wizard as everyone claims he is. He is a evil person. He almost put me with my aunt and uncle who really hate magic with every fiber of their bodies. They probably would have tried to beat the magic out of me."

"WHAT? NO HE DIDN'T!"

"Calm down, Gin-Gin. He would have if he wasn't intercepted by my godmother who works at the Magical Law Enforcement Department. She had a copy of my parent's will after Dumbledore sealed it and claimed that I must go to my aunt and uncles for blood magic wards to protect us from harm but the will states that I must never go to stay there ever. She was able to stop him and take guardianship of me."

"That's bloody well stupid thing I have ever heard of. Blood wards are not a good choice and people can fool them despite the strong protection it offers."

"That was what Sirius had said."

"Then he is right."

The kids continued to talk about stuff unrelated to Harry's parents while holding each other's hand that they can't seem to release, it just feel right for them to do it. Before they knew it, it was time for lunch.

"Will I get to see you here tomorrow, Gin-Gin?" asked Harry hopefully.

"Of course, My Harry." said Ginny.

Harry smiled at the love Ginny is showing him when she said 'My Harry'. Harry knew this girl was perfect for him despite how young they both were. He knew this girl will always hold a special place in his heart.

Ginny smiled at the thought she felt from Harry saying that she was special to him. She felt Harry is special to her too and has had a crush for him before she really knew who he was as a person but it changed from that old crush to the love that was developing between the two of them. What they didn't know was that a myth that hasn't been heard of in over 2,000 years was forming around them was a Soul-Bond. They both gave each other an unexpected chaste kiss that was meant to be innocent but because of it the bond finally activated and they both collapsed.

A/N: Whoa! Soul Bond is active!
