I rolled my eyes, "They probably forced her to retire to hire cheap foreign labor."
Okay I admit... yes I knew I went too far with my witty comments but he might as well get use to it.
He almost seemed offended but he let it go.
"Watch your mouth Rosemarie. I can either be your friend or your enemy." And he meant it.
I was expecting him to be annoyed and walk out like the others.
But he had more self control than I expected.
I signed and sat in the chair across from this desk.
"Well let's get this over with." I told him.
He seemed amused by my change in character and sat at his desk.
He had a photo of five women, a little boy, and a baby girl.
This is most likily his family they all had the same beautiful chocklate eyes.
They all seemed so happy.
It brought a longing feeling to me. I always wanted that type of happy family but no, my life is shit and clearly not worth living for.
Dimitri glanced at the photo and picked it up to put in his desk.
"You seem upset about it." He told me.
I shrugged, "You grew up lucky. You all seem so happy." I told him truthful.
He almost smiled, "My life isn't so lucky... and yes we are quite happy."
I was surprised. How couldn't his life be lucky? He looked as if he never went bad times before.
For some reason I wanted to know more about him.
"So Rose tell me about yourself?"
"Shouldn't you have a file about me already." I stated.
Dimitri nodded. "Yes but there isn't anything positive about you."
I smirked, "Well there's your answer."
Dimitri layed back in his chair.
He just knew this is going to take a long time and patience to deal with me.
