It was a relief. Or so Kagome thought. However her relief didn't last very long.
After Sesshoumaru's addiction to video games ended, all thanks to Kagome beating him at his favorite Ford Mustang racing game, he stopped playing them all together.
A few weeks after his addiction stopped. He gained a new one.
If Kagome thought about it, the addiction that he formed could be much worse.
The new addiction started when Kagome's little niece, Asaki, came for a visit.
Every day, little Asaki would have to have her favorite candy; otherwise she would be a royal pain in the butt.
Both Kagome and Sesshoumaru, at the time, didn't understand her obsession with the candy, but shrugged it off.
Slowly, Sesshoumaru started to gain an interest in the candy.
It moved from a few pieces to a whole box, and then to two boxes, and then at least 5 boxes, a day.
Kagome tried everything she could to stop this new addiction.
She knew right from the get go, sex wouldn't work, because this new addiction didn't interfere with their sex life.
She tried taking the candy away, that just made Sesshoumaru either buy more, or to throw a huge temper tantrum, which usually resulted in several broken vases.
Then she tried threats. That didn't work. So then she hired a hypnotist, that didn't work either, because apparently demons were immune to that sort of thing.
"Koi, what are you doing?" Kagome knew she had been caught when she heard her mate talking to her.
"Umm, nothing?" she knew it was a lie, and so did he.
"Are you looking up how to destroy a candy factory, through legal means?" Sesshoumaru softly whispered against her ear.
"Maybe!" sighing in content she leaned back against him.
"Why, koi?"
"Because of your unsafe and very fattening addiction!"
"Nerds aren't fattening, koi."
"They are if you eat 5 boxes in a day!"
"Well, koi, if it makes you feel better, I kicked the habit."
"Are you lying to me, again?" Kagome was skeptical, but still gave him the benefit of the doubt.
"No, koi. I have a new addiction. One, far more healthy, and satisfying," as Sesshoumaru breathed out the last sentence he started to kiss down Kagome's neck, and grope her chest.
"Oooh…Please tell me it isn't what I think it is…"
"Hmm, koi, yes it is. I'm addicted to sex, with you," with that said he whisked Kagome off to their bedroom.
