In a sudden move of what seemed like desperation, Tezuka grabbed his arm in a warning grip. "Don't tell Fuji. Promise me."
Inui felt his face flush at the warmth were Tezuka touched him. He frowned, however, slightly alarmed at the tone of Tezuka's voice.
"You two are a couple?" Inui wouldn't be surprised if that was true.
"What? No." Tezuka chuckled and it sang through Inui's blood system. "Why do people always think that?" he asked to no one in particular. Shaking his head, Tezuka took off his glasses and Inui was stunned by how young he looked.
"Tezuka, why don't you get contacts?" The question was startled out of Inui before he could stop himself.
Tezuka stared at him directly, without the protection of his glasses. "Why don't you?"
Inui didn't have an answer and so said nothing. He stayed silent as Tezuka made his way back to the courts, watched as Fuji took his place by his side.
