Bolt: Yeah whatever.

Aqua:*Fume* You say that one more time and I'll kill you.

Bolt: Gulp…Ok . I won't say it.

Aqua: *Switch back to happy mode* Good. Now on with the story!

Chapter 2

(Meadow's POV)

Urgh…Urgh… No… Bolt…Don't leave…Please…Meadow…Huh? Meadow…Where's that voice coming from? MEADOW!

"Wah! I'm up! I'm up!" I screamed.

"Ouch… For an Eevee you sure have a loud voice." Bolt told me. "Hehe. Sorry." I apologized. I looked around and realized that Waterfall and Booster were gone.

"Huh? Where's Waterfall and Booster?" I asked him.

"They said they had to get ready for something. You do know their older than us so they have to get up earlier…Right?" He said.

"I guess not." I said sheepishly. He smirked, "I guess you wouldn't." I frowned.

"What does that mean?" He simply shrugged, "Nothing." I slowly got ready for a tackle attack. When Bolt turned away, I rammed into him. Not so hard, just enough to knock him down.

"Wha? Meadow!" He said and turned to me, grinning. I ran through the halls. What Bolt forgot that we were going to be late for the morning address. So the only way to get him there was to fake play.

While I was running, I yelled, "Catch me if you can slowpoke!" "Ohh… When I catch up to you are good as a dead Eevee, Meadow!" Bolt muttered. He then ran through the halls at super speed.

At the main hall…

"Okay, is everyone here?" Cross asked. He was counting the students. Then me and Bolt came through the door.

"We're sorry we're late Mr. Cross." I bowed. "Huh? Why is everyone gathered up?" Bolt asked, stupidly. I sighed then hissed at his ear, "There's always a morning address every morning idiot." "Oh…" He whispered.

Cross looked at us then said, "It's ok. But please try to get here on time." I apologized and we joined the crowd of apprentices.

"Now that everyone is here, we shall begin. Today we have 2 new students joining us. Meadow and Bolt please step up." We nodded and stood next to Cross.

"Wow, that Eevee is cute." One said. I think he was talking about me. Bolt scowled at him. Cross raised his wing and everyone grew quiet again. "Now please be nice to them ok? You two can go back now. Oh, and Meadow please meet the headmaster after the address please?" I nodded.

"Everyone I would like to announce that today, the famous Team Dawn will be here to see if there are any strong Pokémon to join their team after graduation. Gem, please show yourself."

All of a sudden, an espeon, pidgeot, umbreon, luxray, arcaine and a dragonair appeared. There were gasps from the students. I remembered what their names were and I was surprised they were here.

Gem slowly went next to Cross and said, "Hello students. We're the famous Team Dawn. Like Cross said, we will be watching you for today. We can only stay a while so Dusk asked headmaster Star to change the first lesson to gym and he agreed so we will see how tough all of you are. If any of you are strong enough, we might consider you joining our team. If you want to be a team member, you must show these qualities, courage, toughness, intelligence, perseverance and not being a show-off. You must remember, these are important. So, I hope you will do your very best as explores!"

Everyone cheered. Gem bowed and moved away while Cross began to talk, "The morning address is over. Please proceed to the dining for breakfast. Dismissed!"

Everyone started talking as they headed to the dining room. I struggled to get to the headmaster's room. When I reached the door, I pushed it open and sat down. "You're here, Meadow." He said.

"Yes sir." He turned and said to me, "Would you like to know the tale of Team Sky?" I nodded excitedly. He smiled. Then he began, "I don't remember much but this happened before we split up…"

Flashback

'It has been 10 years since we saved the world.' Thought Star. 'But we're still being chased by Mewtwo!'

"Hahaha! Give it up Team Sky! You will never escape from me!" That's what he said last time we met.

"Hey…Guys?" Flare asked. We turned our attention to her. "I…I think we should spilt up. As in, not being a team anymore." She said.

"WHAT!" We all shouted. "Look I know it's crazy but we should. Mewtwo will chase us down forever till we're dead. So, we pretend we really died. Spread a rumor around. We'll disguise ourselves good when we spread the rumor. Ok? Once we spread the rumor, we meet up at Mesprit's underground cave. There we will train together and evolve to our top forms. Then, we split up and pretend to be ordinary Pokémon. What do you think?"

We all thought for a while and said, "I'm in!" She smiled and we all went separate ways to put our plan to action.

End of flashback

"Wow…" I said. But something worried me.

"Headmaster Star? But why is Mewtwo trying to kill you? Have you told the other student's about this?"

He answered me, "I don't quite remember and no, I have not told any other students." I opened my mouth to speak but he seemed to know what was my question and answered it.

"If you're asking why, it's because I trust you more than I usually do. I don't know why but I did so I decided to believe in my trust. Please do not tell anyone about this. But, you can tell your best friend and ONLY your best friend ok?" I nodded. Then I stood up and walked to the door. "Thank you for believing in me headmaster." I said. With that I left.

At gym class…

"Alright. Now today in honor of Team Dawn, we will battle!" Our gym teacher, Mr. Kick who is a Hitmonlee, told us. I was waiting for this. I love battles, but not as much as Bolt. Man, he used to get into fights all the time in preschool. But that's what I like about him. His tough attitude is usually what lets him win.

"First how about we let our two new students battle each other!" He said. We grinned at each other and stepped onto the battle field. "And… BEGIN!" He yelled.

I started out with a quick attack. But he managed to dodge just in time. He then attacked me with his own quick attack. I yelped but managed to use bite on him while he rammed into me. He cringed after that. I knew this was my chance so I used dig. He's not good at sensing stuff underground. I came out and attacked him. He shouted but managed to get to his feet and use iron tail. I yelled. Bolt's iron tail sure packs a punch. It's his strongest move.

By the time we were done, we were exhausted. Neither of us fell yet. But then we both fell at the same time. We were even after all. 'Of course.' I thought. "We've been training together since the day we were born.' We stood up and grinned at each other. Then we went back to the crowd. We watched other students battle too. There were strong Pokémon and weak Pokémon. But it didn't matter to me. It was still good to see other apprentices battle.

"Admiring the battling huh?" Said a rather snobby voice. I turned around and saw a poochyena. Judging by the scent, it was female. She seemed kinda snobby.

"My name is Flaw. Well, that battle you did with your friend was terrible. I mean, you could have used crunch on him before you used dig." She said. I told her, "I can't use crunch." She smirked.

"That shows you that you're utterly useless." I fumed. Who does she think she is? "Hey!" I turned around and saw Bolt. He marched up to her and said, "Hey! You calling my best friend a wimp?" Her smirk widened. "Mm… You're kinda cute. Want to go out with me?" He seemed to get riled up.

"Oh… You think I would do anything with a jerk like you?" He shouted at her. She was taken aback by his outburst. "Wha…" "No one insults my best friend and gets away with it! I challenge you to a battle!"

She smirked, "Let's make it a 2 on 2 battle." She howled and a Vulpix came. "I'm Vixen. Get ready to battle wimps!" We nodded at each other and got into our battle position. They got into theirs and we started.

Let me tell you how it went. Flaw and Vixen were strong. But not as strong as we are. We managed to defeat them but now, we got sent to the Headmaster's Room.

"Now, I hope it never happens again. Understood?" We nodded our heads and left.

While we were walking to our next class, we bumped into someone we least expected to. It was Gem and Dusk. She smiled warmly at us, "You were the ones who battled Flaw and Vixen correct?" She asked. We nodded our heads, waiting to say something like scolding us.

But instead, she said this, "Well done. You showed excellent partnership during the battle. You also proved that you'll stand with each other no matter what. We might just consider letting you join the team."

Then she winked at us. "But you have to make sure you have discipline too. Dusk I can sense that the team is looking for us. Let's go." Dusk said to us, "We will meet again." He bowed than followed Gem down the hall. We blinked.

Then smiled. "I wonder what he meant by 'We will meet again'." I asked Bolt. He shrugged. "I don't know but what I know is that we will be great explores one day!' He said, eyes sparkling. I giggled.

"Oh now you can read the future eh? Now let's see who will win the race to our next lesson!" I said and ran off. He, of course, couldn't resist a challenge so he ran after me. There we were laughing and running to our class. 'I can tell it is gonna be the best 10 weeks of our lives.' I thought.

Aqua: Well now that's done so…

*Flaw and Meadow comes in growling at each other*

Aqua: *Sweatdrops* What are you doing?

Both: I hate her…
