A/N: First off… PLEASE DON'T KILL ME FOR DISAPPEARING OFF THE FACE OF FANFICTION!

Secondly, I feel stupid. I had planned this thing so that I can post the last chapter on Father's day. With the rate I'm going, the third chapter might not even be posted until after Father's Day 2012.

I have an excuse though. Every time I sit down to write -any story at all!- my imagination would go "HAHA-! No." AKA, writer's block. What fun, eh?

But, on the bright side, summer vacay is here, so, holla! Which means more writing time. Hopefully, I'll be able to get everything on my "In Progress" list finished, and everything on my "To do" list started. But right now, I'm going to chip away at Father's Day, one chapter at a time.

*WHEN IT TAKES PLACE*: Sometime in the series of Teen Titans, I, quite frankly, don't give a hoot as to where it falls in that time line.

Because I am going along with the Christopher Nolan's Batman movies (I have only just "discovered" the tv series of The Batman, and don't care at all for Batman: the Brave and the Bold) I have decided it takes place after The Dark Knight, after Wayne Manor has been rebuilt, exactly as it was- but with some improvement to the foundations.

Also, I read in the trivia that originally, Rachael Dawes was going to say something about her nephew Richard Grayson, but it was taken out of the script, so as not to give false hope that Robin would appear in the series. In this story of mine, I'm going to have him be her cousin's son (Dick's dad is Rachael's cousin).

I had had some plans for this chapter, but I re-read it, and it wasn't in character at all, so I changed it up from the original plans. Sorry to those I had given hints what would happen: they most likely won't comply to this chappie ^^'

Also, whatever caused Robin to go solo, I'm guess was an argument between him and DaddyBats- I mean Batman ^^. Let's just say, they resolved that after the "Apprentice" episodes.

I'm afraid Bruce-y turned out more like "The Batman" cartoon's Bruce Wayne. Ah well. I'll flow with it.

So, without further ado, CHAPTER TWO! (I'm a poet, and the world has to know it!)

~Line break~

-Back with the Titans-

"Can't you drive any faaasssteeeerrrr?" Beastboy whined, kicking the back of Cyborg's chair. "And why can't we take the T Car? This thing is sloooowwwww….and it doesn't have any weapons."

A vein in Raven's temple was pulsing, and Cyborg looked ready to blow a fuse. Starfire was sound asleep, not listening to the whining of the green teen.

Raven, in the front seat of the car, rolled her eyes. "Beastboy, you were the one who insisted we take any car other than the T Car. You said it was to keep Robin from guessing we're on to him."

"I didn't think you guys would listen!" Beastboy exclaimed, waving his arms in the air. He sat back in the seat, pouting.

They had been driving for about four and a half hours, keeping a careful distance behind Robin. He had almost lost them several times, when he had ducked down an alleyway, and came out in civilian clothes, but still wearing his mask, and then again when he had made several sudden turns, which seemed to be designed just to keep people from following him to easily.

The second time he had made his series of turns, the only way they caught up to him was because Starfire had flown ahead to report what road he was on, and the Raven and Cyborg, using a map, had deduced where he would be. Not long after, they had caught up again, and were keeping an even closer watch on their leader.

Starfire had dozed off not to long ago. She had been the main person insisting that they stay home, and leave Robin be. Obviously, she had lost that argument, and had tagged along to make sure they didn't cause too much damage.

Raven glanced down at the map in her lap as they passed a sign saying, "Gotham City Welcomes you!" and they turned down a side road, following Robin's motorcycle.

"So, it looks like you were right about Robin returning to Gotham, Rae." Beastboy leaned forwards, his head between Raven and Cyborg's, his elbows resting on the armrest between the driver's seat and passenger seat.

Cyborg suddenly gasped. His electronic eye had zoomed in on the sign of the gate that Robin had parked in front of. He slowed the car, still rather far from what was now their destination, and the others squinted their eyes, trying to make out the name on the gate.

"Wake up, Starfire," Cyborg said, shaking the alien girl. She blinked, as Cyborg opened his door and got out. "We're here."

~In the elevator down to the Batcave with Robin, aka Richard "Dick" Grayson~

It had been a long day, with a long drive from Jump City to Gotham. Dick sighed. A few times, on his journey over here, he had been convinced that he was being followed, and he had gone out of his way to make sure he had lost his trackers.

With a sudden shudder, the lift pulled to a stop. Dick pushed open the gate, and stepped forwards, still carrying his bags. He scanned the room, and spotted Bruce, head bent over the computer, typing furiously at the keys.

Dick dropped his luggage against the wall, and walked forwards. Without looking up from the keys, Bruce said, "Those footsteps aren't Alfred's." He turned his chair around, smiling when he saw Dick.

The black haired teen raised his hand in greeting, smirking.

Bruce got up from the computer, and walked over to Dick, clapping a hand onto the younger boy's shoulder. "What brings you here early?"

Dick's smile faded. "Team trouble. I don't think they don't trust me."

Bruce smiled, a soft smile reserved for his young ward. "Well, I'm glad you're hear. Penguin's been causing trouble lately, and I could use a partner to round him up tonight."

Richard smiled in return. "What's the real reason you're glad I'm here?"

Bruce chuckled, surprised that Dick had seen through him so easily, even after several months apart. "I'm just glad that now, I won't have to suffer through tonight's gala alone."

Dick's eyes widened. Then he scowled and looked down. "I should have waited a day."

"I hope that Richard Grayson is happy that his adoptive father got him time out of his exclusive boarding school to come home for Father's Day," Bruce said, guiding Richard back over to the lift. They each grabbed some of the bags the teen crime fighter had brought along with him, and stepped in to the lift.

The black haired teen nodded. "I can work with that." The story was, Richard Grayson had insisted on going to an exclusive boarding school, that the reporters couldn't even know the name of, so that he could have some privacy. Every once in a while, whenever Dick visited Bruce, it was said that Bruce had gotten him time off from school for fill-in-fake-reason-here.

Bruce smiled at the young man again. "Really Dick. I'm glad you're here." Bruce wasn't the type to get really sappy, and hug the kid, squealing on and on about how much he'd missed his young ward, and how much the boy had grown, so he settled for his subtle smiles.

"So am I," Dick said, as the lift pulled to a stop. "Except for tonight's gala."

The remainder of the Teen Titans stood gaping in front of the wrought iron gate.

"So Robin…" Beastboy began. "is RICHARD GRAYSON? ADOPTED SON OF FLIPPIN' BRUCE WAYNE? DUUUUUDE!"

End chappie ^^ Concrit is appreciated, reviews are treasured, and flames are not wanted. I'm really hoping I can get the next chapter up faster!
