Thorin put his hand on the small of Willa's back, and with his other hand he put out to direct her towards the lake.
"Willa, you haven't aged a bit. Honestly still a vision in my eyes." He knew Willa was not a human but she led a life as if she was. She hadn't even told him, but he knew. Thorin took her hands into his and looked into her blue eyes as the moon reflected in them. "My company and I are headed to the mountain. Smaug has not been heard from for over 100 years, so we are going to take back the kingdom for the Durin family line. I want you to come with us. Seeing you again it…it's like nothing changed, just paused." It was always work with Thorin. Willa took one of her hands from his and fixed the hair that was falling in her face. She didn't want to let go for fear that this wasn't real. "Thorin, I have waited years to see you again, my heart longed for yours once more. But now I—I have people to take care of. My dancers. We can't just bring them along, the company would be too big and draw attention. And I can't get hurt again. You left without as much as a promise to return. Thorin, you broke my heart." Now Willa had pulled away both hands. She would not let him see her cry; she stopped crying a long time ago. The years had made her heart harden. She tilted her chin up to show confidence in what she said, "I am sorry but I won't be joining you. Your company is welcome here for as long as you need but we will be packing up to venture north tomorrow, now let us rejoin the others it is almost time for dinner and dancing." Willa took down her hair and the way the moon shined in it you could see glimpses of fire, her hair was curly, Thorin remembered nights when they laid together under the stars and he would take a ringlet and wrap his fingers. He loved playing with her hair.
The two made their way back to camp and Gandalf approached Willa, "Did Thorin ask you to come with us?" Willa curled her lips inward and nodded her head. "I can't go Gandalf, my dancers need me. And I.." Gandalf cut her off, "You are afraid he will break your heart again? Aren't you?" Willa looked down at her feet. This old wizard could read her like a book.

All the dwarves and the hobbit gathered around the fire. Willa's dancers were making them all feel very comfortable. Maybe too comfortable when it came to the Durin clan. "Girls!" She scolded, "I do not run a business of concubines. You must get ready for your performance, we DO have an audience." With that being said Willa sent the girls to get ready. And more people started to arrive, the majority seemed to be men, human to be exact, Antony, Willa's second in command stood at the entrance of the camp collecting the fee. Since the company of dwarves and the hobbit were friends of Willa she let them in for free. Dori asked how they could keep track and make sure no one snuck in, it was simple Antony explained, "Once the music starts the guards hang a tarp around the tents. Basically creating a wall, then no one can see in." Dori looked impressed he hadn't thought that as a possibility.

Willa was in her tent, sitting on her cot. Her head was cupped in her hands and her hair was in a ponytail. She needed to get ready for the show, she was the main dancer after all. But with Thorin in the crowd she didn't know if she could go on. And now the new dwarf who had captured her attention, Willa had never been one for stage fright but this man gave her butterflies. Standing up her pulled her tunic over her head and opened the trunk of clothing she had across from her bed. What do I want to wear tonight? Her dance tonight was to an old song that the dwarves sang after dinner while sitting around a fire, very gorgonian chant like…She pulled out a red bralette styled top. She was a belly dancer of course and a red sarong to tie around her waist. Fixing her make up in a dusty mirror a young dwarf stumbled into her tent, "Oh I'm sorry I didn't mean to intrude I thought this was Thorins tent but obviously it's ," He couldn't even finish was so captivated by her beauty. As if reflex Willa grabbed her robe, she liked her outfits to be a surprise. This was the dwarf from earlier, "Kili is it? It's not a problem all these tents look the same." She gave him a smile and walked closer to the young dwarf. "Are you excited for the show? It has been a while since we had a crowd this big." Willa opened her tent folds just enough to take a peak. "Uhmm…yeah, I haven't seen anything like this before." She could tell he was nervous just by the way he spoke. "Kili you don't have to be nervous, I don't bite." Willa took his hand and led him out of the tent and towards the rest of the company. When they met up with the group Kili's older brother Fili gave him a look as if wondering why was this woman in a robe, leaving a tent, and holding his hand? This was not like Kili at all, he was brave, confident, and charming but he was not one for fooling around with someone he just met. "Now don't go wandering off again, some of these girls aren't as nice as I am and won't let you go so easily." She smirked and walked back to her tent.
Thorin saw, along with the whole company, what just happened and pulled Kili to the side. "What happened Kili?" he said in a quite demanding tone, Kili had never seen his uncle this way. "Nothing happened uncle I swear I just walked into the wrong tent and there she was." He gave his uncle a stern look. He wasn't going to let him think otherwise. Thorin broke the gaze and looked back to the company, "Let's go rejoin them." He wrapped his arm around his nephew and they proceeded back to the camp. The musicians started pounding the drums, and playing their other instruments. The guards set up the tarp. It was a thick piece of beige cloth. Wind could not even blow through it. So of course it was bound to get hot especially with the fire going as high as it was. Then the girls came out of their tent. All draped in different colors, all vibrant and bejeweled. These costumes must be worth a lot of money. The way their bodies moved in sync was like magic. Many men started cheering and the girls encouraged it, they gave them a wink or a friendly smile as they moved their hips and spun to the music. After all a happy man will always tip the girls.

The fire grew dim, the girls all fell to their knees and bowed before the fire and she appeared. Willa, dressed in red, she ended up in the middle of the girls and the fire around her. The drums starting pounding faster and the fire grew twice its original size. Thorin and Kili jumped up. Had she been set ablaze? They looked at each other both knowing what the other was thinking. The company looked at each other and then at the two men standing. Willa jumped from the fire, unharmed. And her body moved like a flame. Thorin and Kili sat down. Everyone in the company looked puzzled but everyone else knew, the ones who had seen the show before. They knew she would not be harmed.

After the performance the company could not contain their excitement. The dwarves were enchanted by the dancers and the dancers loved being told how wonderful they were.
Willa returned to her tent to separate herself from her past.
Looking in the mirror propped up on her trunk she realized she can't keep running.
"Willa girl, you can't hide from this man forever. Go out there and show him what he lost."
She lifted her chin and gave herself a once over, if looks could kill she thought.

"Hello my friends, what do you think of our performance? Did everyone enjoy themselves?" She raised an eyebrow and gave a smirk to the youngest Durin dwarf.
They all spoke at once, except Thorin of course. It was unlike him to get into a fan frenzy sort of speak.
He just waited until they all calmed down and said in his deep voice, "it was nice." That was it.
He knew Willa was not going to go back to him so he made a point to make sure he didn't seemed hurt. Even if it meant, hurting her.
