Six Months Later
Brigan's POV:
I can't believe how big Fire's stomach is. It's much bigger than Clara or Mila's were at six months. Maybe it's a monster thing. Oh! The baby is kicking. "My child, I love you. I wonder, can you even hear me? Oh, it doesn't matter; I know you can feel my love for you. I don't need to tell you I love you, you can feel my love pour over and out. It flows into your small, precious body. Three more months and I'll be able to tell you as I gaze into your beautiful little face. I love you my child. You will never understand how far my love for you reaches, but you will understand that I would die for you. I would die for you and your mother and your sister, Hanna. I love you all so much and it pains me that I must leave for the north to check on my estate there only three months before you come and see this wonderful world. Hopefully I will be back before your birth." Fire, you are so beautiful when you sleep. I promise to be back before you give birth to our child. I will love you both will all my heart forever.
Hanna's POV:
"Why doesn't father love me as much as he used to, Blotchy? He only cares for Fire and the baby. Fire was so awesome, until she became pregnant, then she just started to take father. I miss my one-on-one battle lessons and my archery lessons. You miss him too, don't 'cha, Blotchy. I just wish he would pay a little more attention to me."
