Everyone was shocked. They couldn't believe what the first challenge was. "Your first challenge is simple. All you must do is jump off this cliff, and then try and land onto the trampoline, which is your safe zone. The outside of the safe zone is full of man-eating, grizzly bears! So be careful. When you have bounced off the trampoline, you go down the zipline, and try to grab your team colour flag," Chris explained.

Confessional: Courtney

"Whilst everyone is groaning, me and Ryan don't do the first two challenges. Awesome!"

Confessional: Miranda

"Courtney, there's a big surprise coming for you…"

End of confessional

"Gophers, it looks like from your team, Izzy and Gerry will be first. Bass, Ellody and Oliver. Lightning and Mickey will represent the Moose, and the Badgers will have Mary and Spud," Chris announced the first four pairs. He then showed a list of the other pairings.

Heather realised something was fishy. There were two new competitors, and Courtney and Ryan had been placed on teams, with Courtney on the Gophers, and Ryan on the Moose. Charlotte and Ethan were the new competitors, with both placed on the Badgers. "The first four pairings, please go to your positions…" Chris was ready to go. "On your marks, get set, GO!"
