The sun rose and cast its golden orange rays over the land. Slowly it flooded the valley and swept past the shrine and made it way to the house gently nestled on the outskirts of the forest and next to a frozen lake. The light reflected off of the snow on the earth and in the trees. Slowly it worked its way up the side of the house and fell through a window and onto a bed causing a figured rolled over revealing another figure letting the sun shine on the face of the girl clad in an oversized t-shirt and pair of panties, her face was angelic as her cyan hair framed her face. The light made girl squeeze her eye shut tighter, giving up she opened her eyes to the sunlight and yawned. She sat up at stretched her arms and then laid back into the bed and felt the another body and she barely stifled a scream before she realized who it was. Her lips pulled back into a contented smile and silently rose and hovered over the bed watching him sleep. His chest rose and fell in the gentle rhythm of sleep and silently she toyed with the idea of waking him up in a special way, but thought better of it. She felt the almost overpowering urge to do it but they did have the rest of their lives and he was sick, which meant that he wouldn't be able to enjoy it as much. Frowning she wondered what could she do to make this morning memorable and not cause lot of trouble. Slowly her smile grew as an idea formed, silently she floated own until there was just a few inches in between them and kissed Tenchi lightly on the cheek and phased out of the room. As soon as she was gone a small smile crossed the sleeping princes face and he opened an eye chuckling to himself silently he thought 'Wonder what she's up to?'
Sasami walked towards the kitchen as happy as ever. She yawned and smiled she may have been happy but she was still tired but all that was forgotten as she heard the noise in the kitchen telling her that somebody was banging pans together and generally being loud. The little princess pushed the door open and came to a stopped just inside the door war. What she saw was something that she would never have believed if you had told her in a million years. Ryoko was up and in the kitchen a pan on the stove, a tray with a glass of orange juice on it sat on a counter, while she holding a cabinet door open intently looking for something.. Sasami's pink eyes were wide and held shock and bewilderment. When she finally found her voice she caused Ryoko to jump slightly.
"R..Ryoko what are you doing?"
Ryoko glanced towards Sasami and smiled
"I'm fixing Tenchi breakfast.. Umm Sasami where's the rice?"
Sasami's eyes grew even wider, after all the only thing Sasami knew that Ryoko could make was sandwich's so she asked again to make sure.
"What did you say you were doing? "
Ryoko turned around and looked at the little girl and frowned slightly
"I said that I'm going to fix Tenchi breakfast. So do you know where the rice is?"
Sasami looked at Ryoko and noticed that she was wearing one of Tenchi's favorite shirt's and was about to ask Ryoko why she was wearing it when her mind clicked on the answer and silently thought 'So that's who he chose. Now comes the hard part.' Sasami blinked as she came out of her thoughts Ryoko had placed a hand on her shoulder and was shaking her asking if she was okay. Sasami smiled and hugged Ryoko who was shocked unsure why Sasami was hugging her. Slowly realization dawned on her asked
"What do you know?"
Sasami pulled back and smiled up at the older girl and shook her head.
"I'm not telling. And we are out of rice."
Ryoko's smile faltered as she looked down at the little princess .
"Then what am I going to fix Tenchi for breakfast?" "
Sasami shook her head and walked over to the stove and turned around to Ryoko smiling
"Go take a bath I'll fix his breakfast."
Ryoko smiled and nodded. 'Well I can always fix him breakfast later.' She thought to her self as she teleported to the Osan. Inside the bath she took off Tenchi's shirt and her underwear and laid them to the side. Then turned and stepped into the bath. She sighed as she slid into the water and relaxed, a quiet satisfied smile crossing her face. The man she loved had finally told her how he felt and she was happy beyond all reason.
Sasami was humming to her self happy that Tenchi had finally chosen, but she did feel sorry for Aekea though. But she couldn't stay sad forever and she hummed happily forcing the feeling down. Tenchi's breakfast was almost done and she was glad because she still had to fix breakfast for the rest of the house. Just as she put the plate of food for Tenchi on the tray with the orange juice Ryoko had poured, the former space pirate teleported into the kitchen dressed in a blue and purple dress with a red sash wrapped around her waist and a smile on her face.
"Hey Sasami is it ready yet?"
Sasami looked around slightly surprised and smiled at her.
"Just got done with it. I tired an American dish today."
Ryoko looked at Sasami curiosity evident in her eyes and picked the plate up and sniffed it.
"Really? What is it?"
Sasami smiled and shrugged.
"Well they call it an omelet. It's ham and melted cheese wrapped in fried egg it was rather easy."
It smelt good and it did look good and since Sasami cooked it had to be good. Ryoko turned to the little princess and smiled.
"I think he'll like it."
Sasami beamed at the complement and in a conspirators tone said
"Why don't we just let him think you cooked this. I mean after all you'll be learning to cook from now on won't you?"
Ryoko smiled and nodded as she picked up the tray and teleported up to the hallway. She stood just outside Tenchi's bedroom and quickly looking around she stole some of the omelet and then breathed deeply and phased through the door to find an empty bed. She hovered there for a moment and then glanced around not seeing him anywhere. She put the breakfast down on desk and started floating around the room looking for him. She came to a stop in the middle of the room and hovered there hands on her hips thinking 'Now where is he? Maybe he went to the bathroom.' She barely had time to hear a voice come from behind her
"I'm right here."
She turned around just in time to see Tenchi leaping out of the closet and tackle her sending them both falling back onto the bed. He looked down at her face and smiled
"Now that I have the world's most beautiful pirate it is time for the hero to get his reward."
She started back at him and smiled, winked and whispered
"What exactly is the reward?"
Tenchi smiled and answered with no trace of embarrassment.
"A kiss, what else?"
Ryoko smiled as he leaned forward for his kiss and asked
"But what makes the hero think he can hold this beautiful pirate?"
she phased way and reappeared behind him smiling, her eyes filled with mischievousness. He lay there for a moment in surprise unsure what had happened.
"So is the hero going to get up and work for his kiss of is the beautiful pirate going to go away leaving the hero alone and without his reward?"
He turned smiling and shook his head laughing. Ryoko watched him with a questioning look, Unexpectedly he grabbed her and pulled her in close and as he was about to kiss her said
"If the beautiful demon left not only would the hero come after her but until her caught her she would hate herself for not giving him his reward."
Ryoko smiled as his lips kissed where she was a minute before. She laughed out loud when he opened his eyes and found nothing there, dejectedly he turned away and hung his head and noticed the breakfast on the desk and an idea started to form. Silently he went over to the desk and Ryoko watched confused, when he reached the desk he spoke
"Hmm. Now that the hero thinks about it maybe he should eat before he hunts for the beautiful pirate."
She frowned and moved over to stand beside him. He spun caught her and gave her a deep passionate kiss which after the surprise wore off she gladly returned. When they parted they both smiled and Ryoko whispered
"Well I guess he hero got his reward."
Tenchi grinned and answered
"Yes but the hero thinks that he deserves more of a reward."
He turned several shades of red when he realized what he said and gulped nervously as Ryoko smiled reveling her fangs and her eyes lit with a familiar light.
"My, my Tenchi aren't we Hentai."
Quickly he shook his head and raised his hand's in protest.
"No I just want another kiss."
Ryoko pouted a little and sighed.
"Well I am a little disappointed but I guess you can have another."
Tenchi smiled and nodded his head his blush fading slightly.
"Good."
And they leaned back in for another kiss and time, at least to them, froze. It was like an eternity and a brief second at the same time. As Tenchi and Ryoko stood in his room playing there game Washu sat in her lab guiltily eavesdropping through her mental link with her daughter. A tinge of sadness washed over her and she severed the mental link with Ryoko, so that she didn't feel her pain even after all this time the thoughts of her husband and son almost brought tears to her eyes. One of her computers bleeped and she quickly shoved her family out of her thoughts and focused on the screen as it filled with an image of Aekea approaching Tenchi's room. Quickly she reestablished her link with Ryoko and told her what was happening.
'Ryoko, Aekea's on her way to Tenchi's room.'
'So what? You have that security system up and it only allows him and me in.'
'I did but I had to turn it off so I could do some minor adjustments that couldn't be done with it on.'
'Kuso! Thanks for the warning.'
'Don't mention it.'
Ryoko pulled away from Tenchi and he was about to say something about it and she shushed him.
"Listen Aekea's coming and Washu had to turn that stupid alarm off to do something to it."
He nodded and got back into bed and Ryoko handed him the tray with his breakfast on it and sat down in the chair in front of the desk. No sooner had she sat down than there was a knock on the door and Aekea's voice drifted through the door.
"Lord Tenchi are you up yet?"
Ryoko grinned, she had caught the hint of flirt in her voice and Tenchi gave her a look that told her behave. Turning back to the door he called back
"Yes Miss Aekea come in."
He glanced at Ryoko who he was certain was planning something. But as the door opened he shook his head and mouthed no before she came into the room. Ryoko pouted she wanted to have some fun but since Tenchi wanted her to behave she would. Aekea shot a glance at Ryoko and then turned her gaze onto Tenchi.
"Are you well lord Tenchi."
He smiled at her politely and answered
"I'm as well as can be expected."
Aekea nodded and said something she would regret for several days to come.
"Well if you didn't allow such sickly things, as something's present, near you then you wouldn't get sick."
Ryoko felt her anger rise but she quickly fought it down determined to behave and glanced at Tenchi to notice the anger on his face. Aekea saw it to and realized she had said the wrong thing. She stood there quietly for a moment and then and quickly went to the door, she had not expected this reaction she and Ryoko always exchanged verbal blows. Before Tenchi had the chance to say anything. she looked back at him and summoning up all her training as a crowned princes of Jurai she apologized to Tenchi as well as Ryoko.
"I am sorry my words were harsh."
She stood in the hallway uncertain about his reaction and from what she could tell Ryoko was confused by his reaction to. Even as she considered all that the thought 'What if he's chosen?' entered her mind but she fought it down certain that he would, could only choose her. As she regained her composer she turned and made her way to the living room to await the breakfast Sasami had prepared.

"Tenchi...?"
"...."
"Tenchi?"
"...."
"It's all right."
"No it's not."
"Tenchi come on."
"I can't let her just insult you."
"But..."
"I won't let her or anyone else talk about you that way."
"Tenchi forget it, I mean I've insulted her before. This is a small thing."
"I don't think it is."
"Tenchi relax, I'll take care of this and besides your sick and if you go off to talk to her you'll just distract your body from healing. And I want you healthy for when the real fun starts."
She grinned at Tenchi and leaned forward causing him to lean back and gulp his anger forgotten. He loved her but old instincts are hard to fight.
"O..Ok Ryoko you handle this I'll just sit her and eat my breakfast, heheh."
She smiled and leaned back and decided to have some fun she loved to make squirm partly because she could and because he was so cute when she did.
"O.K. just take it easy. Hmm.. now what should I wear to talk to her about this?"
Ryoko stood up and phased into a dress that left little to the imagination. It was a black see through gown with beads covering the chest and a slit up the side. A blush began to form and his heart beat quickened. Ryoko smiled to herself and shook her head a thoughtful look on her face.
"No it's told cold for this."
She phased again and stood there dressed in a very reveling bikini trimmed with red around the cleavage and made of a blue material. She giggled and brought her hand to her mouth
"Opps wrong outfit."
Tenchi's heart began to beat like a drum and his blush deepened to a brick red. Finally after several different next to nothing outfits she decided to give Tenchi a break.
"Oh I know I'll wear this!"
As she phased into the next out fit Tenchi closed his eyes and silently prayed 'Please give me the strength to survive this.'
When he opened his eyes he saw to his relief that she was dressed in her regular blue and yellow dress with the brown tail. She grinned and teased him again.
"This should do nicely. But I wonder if I shouldn't try.."
"No! Err.. Um I mean this is fine, perfect."
Ryoko frowned and fringed a hurt voice.
"Why Tenchi if I didn't know better I'd think that you didn't like my other outfits."
She smiled and blew him a kiss he caught it just as she teleported out of the room. He leaned back and let out a small sigh of relief and muttered
"I don't know if I would have survived her next outfit. but at lest I would have a great view to go bye."
No sooner had Ryoko left Tenchi's room and reappeared in the hall just outside his door than Washu spoke to her through their mind link
'You now you could have killed him.'
Ryoko smiled slightly and thought back
'Yeah but I don't think he would have minded dying like that.'
Washu laughed over the link and agreed with Ryoko
'No as a matter of fact, I'm almost certain that right now he's thinking that it would be a pretty good way to go.'
Ryoko grinned it was good to know that he was hentai even if he didn't want them to know about it.
Ryoko floated down the stairs and entered the living room when Sasami came in and smiled
"Oh good your here I was just coming to tell you that breakfast was ready. Washu and Aekea are already there."
Ryoko nodded and asked
"Where's Mihoshi and Tenchi's dad?"
"Mihoshi is still on patrol and his dad is at the office."
"Oh."
The little princess turned around and started walking towards the kitchen with Ryoko behind her.
Once they finished dinner they spent the next few minutes in pointless chatter among themselves then each went there separate ways. Washu left for her lab and Sasami went to wash the dishes and Aekea, and much to her annoyance, Ryoko went to the living and sat down to watch soaps.
Through out the program Aekea and Ryoko kept glancing at each other. Finally Ryoko decided to get this over with and spoke causing Aekea to jump slightly.
"Aekea?'
Aekea looked over at the former space pirate and suddenly the voice that had nagged her for the last day came back full force.
"Yes?"
Ryoko could tell something was wrong with the princess by looking in her eyes she was distracted and she wondered if now was good time. She mentally shrugged and continued.
"Umm... can we talk?"
Aekea knew what she wanted to talk about but she hesitated, the nagging voice would not leave her alone and it was distracting her slightly.
"Sure."
Ryoko frowned and continued
"It's about what you said in Tenchi's room."
Aekea glanced over at Ryoko who sat Indian style floating in the air her golden catlike eyes calm Aekea inwardly grimaced at what she had to say, true she was sorry for it, but princess's were not supposed to apologies more than once, if ever.
"I am sorry I was not thinking when I said it ."
Ryoko waved her hand and her eyes held indifference.
"Whatever. I forgive you and so does Tenchi. He can't hold a grudge, but.."
Ryoko floated higher and Aekea watched her rise until she hovered a few inches below the ceiling.
"I would watch what I say around him from now on."
Ryoko phased through the ceiling and Aekea sat there her brain working on what Ryoko had just said. She knew a threat when she heard one and Ryoko had just gave her one she knew that Ryoko was the type that would back that threat up.
Tenchi had just finished dressing and was just about to leave when Ryoko reappeared in his room and grabbed his shoulder causing him to jump. He turned and smiled weakly and Ryoko smirked.
"And just where do you think you're going?"
Tenchi sighed and mumbled an answer causing Ryoko to frown and cross her arms
"What was that?"
Tenchi bowed his head and answered
"I was going to take the tray back down stairs and then go sweep the steps."
Ryoko growled and Tenchi sighed without even looking up he walked back to the bed and laid down.
Ryoko walked over and sat on the edge of the bed and laughed. Tenchi shifted around until his upper body was resting against the wall and looked over at Ryoko and smiled. After a few minutes Tenchi spoke
"So did you and Aekea settle things?"
Ryoko nodded her head and Tenchi let it go. Ryoko grinned and reached over and placed her hand on his leg causing Tenchi to blush and immediately his old and new instincts began to fight. Finally the new won out and he let Ryoko's hand stay where it was, Ryoko grinned even wider and moved her hand up even farther on his leg and Tenchi fought his old instincts. Ryoko scooted closer and shifted positions so that her left hand was on his leg and her head on his chest. She slid her hand up yet again and Tenchi began to mutter about how hot it was getting, she smiled happily and was about to go for broke, when Tenchi broke into a sneezing fit. Ryoko sat up and frowned, once Tenchi's sneezing fit had passed she spoke
"You know, if I didn't know better, I'd swear that you faked that to get me to stop."
Tenchi smiled apologetically and shook his head fighting down another sneeze.
"You can try again if you want."
Ryoko frowned and put her hand to his forehead. Tenchi frowned unsure why she was acting so strange.
"What are you doing?"
Ryoko looked down at him and shrugged
"Well you just offered to let me grope you."
Tenchi blushed and chuckled lightly
"I did didn't I?"
Ryoko nodded her head and Tenchi laughed she crossed her arms and frowned at him until he spoke.
"Err.. it's just weird you turning down the chance to grope me."
Ryoko smiled slightly and shrugged
"Well I'm only turning it down because I want you healthy when the fun starts."
Tenchi laughed and pulled her into a hug, Ryoko smiled
"Come on let's go see 'mom' maybe she' s got a cure."
Tenchi smiled nervously as the gut wrenching feeling of teleporting hit him.
Washu turned from the screen flashing information of a double supernova and started cycling through the various security cameras that Washu had installed through out the house and the surrounding area. Slowly she finished the public areas and began cycling through the private ones. Slowly she checked each one knowing that every one was somewhere else. As she came to the one in Tenchi's room she thought 'Now what is Tenchi doing.' With a few deft strokes she had her camera in Tenchi's room on and found it empty. Quickly she switched back to the other rooms looking for him and didn't find him anywhere. Just as her confusion reached the point that she was about to inform Ryoko about it they phased into Washu's lab, she turned around and they both smiled and waved. Tenchi looked nervous and suddenly broke out into a sneezing fit and Washu smiled at them and looked in his direction.
"And what is he doing out of bed."
Ryoko raised an eyebrow and smiled
"Well, we figured that, maybe you have a cure and we were wondering if .."
Ryoko was cut short when Washu finished her sentence smiling
"I would give it to him. Well you know when I found out that he was sick I started working on one and it just finished. So I suppose I could.."
Ryoko 's grin grew and as if to give Washu extra incentive she said
"Thanks Mom."
"Yeah thank you Little Washu."
Washu looked at Tenchi her face suddenly holding a frown, Tenchi gulped and started scratching the back of his head and Ryoko sighed shaking her head.
"I said little Washu."
Washu's face suddenly held her devious mad scientist smile
"Tenchi if your going to be with my daughter then you should be subject to the same rules as Ryoko and as I told you yesterday..."
Tenchi looked at Ryoko worried and then looked back at her clearly nervous.
"What?"
Washu put her hands together in front of her and she resembled Misaki when she saw Sasami or Ryo-ohki
"From now on you call me.... Mom. "
Tenchi nervously looked over at Ryoko who shrugged and then back to Washu and smiled nervously as he stammered
"Thanks Litt..er..um..uh Mom."
Washu beamed at him and nodded her head satisfied
"You're welcome. Now come on lets go get that cure."
She turned her back on them and quickly walked away, Ryoko and Tenchi shared a glance and quickly started walking after her.

Tenchi leaned back into the bath and sighed, slowly he sunk deeper into the water. He loved Ryoko but the episode in Washu's lab had wore him out. He had kept calling Washu little Washu instead of mom like she wanted and when it had come time for the shot Tenchi had gotten very worried when she had told them she had to give it in a very in convent place. That had led to Ryoko grabbing Washu and shaking her back and forth violently
shouting
"There's no way I'm letting you stick Tenchi and there's no way I'm letting you near his ass!!"
Washu had gotten the same smile on her face that she used to get when she was about to use her machines to strap him down and try and get that sample from him. Tenchi had gotten very nervous and started to back up but only got a few steps away when suddenly he found himself strapped to a medical table. He struggled and managed to get his head up enough to see Washu pointing at him. Ryoko stopped shaking the scientist and looked over at what she was pointing at her face filled with confusion. Slowly she sat her down and Tenchi let his head fall back on to the table resigned to his fate, then his eyes saw the metal arm with a needle on the end of it and struggled trying to get free. When he felt the slight prick of the needle he held perfectly still after a few minutes the needle removed it self and the table released him. He jumped up and stood there for a moment and then heard Washu comment
"There I gave him his shot and got nowhere near his ass."
Tenchi, deciding that discretion is the better part of valor, made a quick dash for the door leading off of the lab level they were on. He made it through the door in time to hear a loud explosion behind him.
Tenchi was glad that he had gotten the shot for his cold, but now he had a problem, two actually. One was Ryoko was going to be upset with him for running away like that and the other was how he was going to break the news to Aekea. Tenchi sighed, he was nor looking forward to telling Aekea. Yes he did love her but like a sister and he knew she would be devastated when he told her. And he feared that meant it would lead to either her blowing up the world and him with it or going into a deep depression that would lead to her killing herself. Tenchi shuddered at that last thought, that was something he didn't want to think about, he couldn't even imagine how to tell her. Yet he had to and he hoped that it wouldn't come to her killing herself. The one thing he did know was that he needed to tell her by himself, it would be too difficult if Ryoko was there. No this was something he was going to have to face on his own and some how that made Tenchi even more nervous. He shook his head and turned his thoughts to more immediate problems, like how he was he going to appease Ryoko's anger with him. He could give her what she had been wanting from him then shook his head, he wanted everything with Aekea over with before they did that, he could give her some flowers. Tenchi smiled he could borrow Ryo-ohki and go to another planet and get Ryoko some flowers and maybe a present. The more he thought about it the more it made sense. So quietly Tenchi slid through the water to the other side of pool and got out wrapping a towel around himself and headed to the dressing room lost in the thought about his plan.
Ryoko hovered inside Tenchi's room, her arms crossed in front of her and an slightly angry look on her face. Silently her tail swayed back and forth, she was upset with Tenchi leaving her in Washu's lab. She knew that he was frightened out of his mind but still he shouldn't go running off like that. She knew that he would get her an I'm sorry present and she would let him off even if all he did was come in here smile, scratch the back of his head and stutter an apology. She could never hold a grudge against him he was just to cute. She turned her head slightly and looked out the window when she heard the loud meow unsure what was going on. Her eyes went wide when she saw Ryo-ohki rising up into the air in her space ship form and she mentally shouted at her but all she got was something about Tenchi and carrots. Ryoko sighed and hung her head knowing exactly what that meant, Tenchi had bribed Ryo-ohki with carrots to get her to take him some where. Silently she decided to wait for him and if she didn't like whatever his reason then he was going to get an earful. Ryoko smiled slightly and prepared to wait for his return.
Tenchi now standing on the bridge of the cabbit, was struck with the realizations that one he didn't know how to pilot the cabbit, and two he had no way of telling which way he was going. Sighing he did the only thing he could think of and told Ryo-ohki to take him some where he could get Ryoko some special flowers and a present. Ryo-ohki meowed. It wasn't until an hour afterwards that he thought to ask the cabbit where she was taking him. The cabbit meowed an answer and Tenchi frowned and decided that he was going to just let Ryo-ohki take him wherever she was going to take him. He was about to close his eyes and take a short nap when a screen appeared in front of him with a translation of what the cabbit had just said. Tenchi's eyes darted over the screen his eyes going wide in surprise.
"Mars."
He shook his head and asked Ryo-ohki where exactly he was going to get flowers and a present on mars. Almost immediately the cabbit meowed again and the screen changed
"In the underground city of course."
Tenchi sighed in defeat and leaned back, now that he thought about it he had just one other problem, money. All he had was some earth money, the only other thing he had was some sort of slip of paper with a picture of Aekea on it but it was back at home. It had been a birthday gift and he had put it inside a album of pictures of his family. Sighing he asked the cabbit for the answer to his problem hoping that it could help him.
The cabbit meowed and the screen changed again in response
"They use credit chips."
Tenchi slumped back into the chair and silently cursed his luck that of course they would use credit chips. Ryo-ohki meowed drawing Tenchi out of his depression and the screen changed suddenly from saying incoming message and to the bridge of another ship that held a familiar blonde. Mihoshi was smiling and waving happily. Tenchi sighed this was all he needed, he liked the GP but she was a natural disaster slowly he waved back and was about to say hi when she was suddenly pulled out of view and replaced with a teal haired woman dressed in a GP uniform. She stared at him and then spoke over the link her voice commanding and a hint of great restraint that Tenchi guessed was from dealing with Mihoshi.
"This is a non-flight area. Shut down your engines and prepare to be boarded after which we will escort you to the edge of this sector."
Tenchi was about to answer when Mihoshi leaned into the screen and began whispering in the teal haired girl's ear. He couldn't help but see the shocked expression that spread over the teal haired officer's face and she turned back to the screen and started to apologize. He just smiled in both an attempt to make peace and in the realization that he had the answer to his money problem right here. Mihoshi, she would be more than willing to loan it to him but even as he planed on borrowing it he felt the gut wrenching feeling of impending disaster.
Tenchi sat across from the two GP's, the teal haired one, who he found out was named Kiyone, was still apologizing. Tenchi grinned and reassured her that it was all right and once he was sure she wasn't going to start apologizing again he turned his attention from Kiyone to the blonde GP who was busy playing with her cube. He smiled nervously hoping that she didn't make the cabbit disappear. Silently he stood and made his way over to Mihoshi scratching the back of his head, the more he thought about his plan the more anxious he was. Still he had to appease Ryoko and steeling himself he tapped the blonde GP on the shoulder causing her to scream which caused Tenchi and Kiyone to jump. Mihoshi turned around and smiled her ditz smile at them.
"Sorry you scared me."
Tenchi and Kiyone both sighed and Tenchi started scratching the back of his head silently wondering why it never itched until he was nervous.
"Sorry Mihoshi I didn't mean to."
The blonde waved her hand and smiled
"That's ok."
She turned back to her cube and Tenchi sighed and reached out reluctantly and gently put his hand on her shoulder she started to scream again and quickly Tenchi clamped his hand over her mouth and asked
"Mihoshi do you have some money that I can borrow?"
The blonde GP nodded and Tenchi smiled, removing his hand. They both sat there for a few minutes staring at each other and finally Tenchi grudgingly prodded
"Well?"
The blonde GP raised her finger to her mouth and blinked her eyes blankly
"Well what Tenchi?"
Tenchi fought down the urge to scream and start cursing, instead he sighed centering himself and although he began to regret deciding to ask her he still he had no choice.
"Do you have some money I can borrow?"
Mihoshi's face brightened and nodded and Tenchi smiled relief flooding his senses.
"So can I have it?"
Mihoshi looked back down and started playing with her cube and suddenly the bridge of Ryo-ohki filled with Mihoshi's things. She looked back up and blinked in surprise as Tenchi fought his way back to the surface of a huge pile of clothes. Absently he realized that he had something on his head and slowly he reached up and pulled it off. As he held it in front of him his face went through several shades of red when he realized it was a white bra. A shrill shriek flooded through the area and suddenly he was looking at empty space where the bra had been, he looked around and saw Mihoshi running around screaming at the top of her lungs, all hope Tenchi had to that point disappeared. Sighing he thought 'This is not going like I had hoped.'
Tenchi stood on the now empty bridge of the cabbit after he had Ryo-ohki teleport Mihoshi's things back to the ship and finally the two Gp's. Before they had left he had gotten the money he needed, not from Mihoshi but rather from Kiyone. He had try and refuse but he didn't try that hard. He dropped to the floor and sighed now all he had to do was reach Mars. After the fiasco with the GP's he was sure this was going to be easy.
Ryo-ohki meowed and the screen reappeared Tenchi read it and sighed in relief, they had finally reached Mars the trip was almost over. Ryo-ohki meowed and Tenchi suddenly found himself under the surface of mars with Ryo-ohki sitting on his shoulder, He looked around there were aliens everywhere from human to weird looking bugs entering and exiting the shops and clogging the streets. Tenchi quickly started walking and as he passed shops for things he had never heard or dreamed of he considered that bedside's this being Mars and that there were aliens everywhere it was a lot like Tokyo, busy and crowded. Before long he found what he figured was the shop he was looking for. He stopped and looked through the window at the different flowers, some resembled flowers from earth but the majority of them were strange and exotic looking. He was about to go in when somebody bumped into him, knocked Ryo-ohki off his shoulder. Tenchi stooped down and picked the cabbit up and sat her back on his shoulder and then glanced around but didn't see who bumped him. Shrugging Tenchi reached up and scratched the cabbit under the chin and asked
"You ok Ryo-ohki?"
The cabbit meowed softly and nuzzled his ear and Tenchi smiled stuck his hands in his pockets and walked into the flower shop.
Inside the plants were stranger than he had ever seen, there was a flower in the corner that was a bright vivid red with a blue stem and leaves it was about as big as Sasami and as soon as Tenchi entered it started following him.
He turned his attention from it to other displays of plants. Some when he approached them shrunk back and he could have sworn they growled, others stayed motionless as he approached and then when he was with in a few feet they released a gas that made Tenchi back up and effectively reminded him of stink bugs.
Tenchi heard a meow and felt Ryo-ohki leap of his shoulder startled he turned around and saw the small cabbit heading towards a plant that was orange and reminded Tenchi of carrots he barely had time to realize what was going to happen than it had. He rushed over and yanked the cabbit back by the scruff of its neck and frowned. He looked over at the plant there was nothing left of it and he knew that with his luck it was probably the most expensive thing in this store. He leaned over and tried to make out the writing on the sign but to Tenchi it looked like gibberish. He stood and turned around as he saw a man enter from the back of the store, he stood Tenchi guessed about 6'7, he was taller by at least 6 inches than the foreign exchange student they had last year.
His eyes were large, green and sat on the side of his head so that they resembled a lizards the top of his head was covered in black hair and his skin was a lemon yellow. He was dressed in an outfit that reminded Tenchi of the old gangster's suit's that they wore in the old American black and white movies. The creature looked up at him and then at the cabbit and smiled showing it's green teeth. Tenchi smiled nervously back and the creature spoke it's voice unnerving but that was lost on Tenchi as he tried to understand what it was saying. The creature stopped talking and looked slightly annoyed and then tried again in what Tenchi figured was another language.
Tenchi frowned and shook his head and the creature frowned and motioned him over to the counter .Reluctantly Tenchi approached and the creature reached down behind the counter and when it brought it's hand back into view it held a book. The creature shoved the book across the counter towards Tenchi and stared at him obviously waiting for him to open it. Tenchi reached out and opened the book and realized that it was list of planets in the solar system and Tenchi quickly scanned through it and found that it not only listed his solar system but others as well. He frowned unsure what the creature wanted him to do and looked back up at creature and pointed at the book shook his head and frowned looking confused. The creature sighed in what Tenchi figured passed for exasperation and took the book back and flipped through it and pointed at a picture of Mars and Tenchi nodded his head in understanding. He took the book back and after flipping through a few pages from the image of mars he found earth and pointed at it. The alien looked at the planet and then back at him a look of disbelieve and confusion filled his face. Tenchi smiled apologetically and the alien closed the book and put it back under the counter and this time when it spoke Tenchi understood it.
"You're from earth?"
Tenchi nodded his head and the alien smiled slightly
