Zangya's pov

I had been paying visits to this strange earthling. I wasn't sure what the real deal was with him but it was rather unnerving to me. I would watch from afar to see if he ever took his bandage off but he never did. He always felt his way with either his hands or with a long stick.

'He couldn't be blind. Other than my stomach growl he sensed that I was there with him.'

I looked at my hands and gathered a little bit of ki and frowned in confusion.

"He asked me what this was, and how it was warm."

I was on my way to visit him again. I hated the thought that I couldn't tell if he was fighter or not just because he was blind.

'Or is he?'

I went to pay a quick visit but this time I noticed that he wasn't alone.

With him were two guards and a man wearing a long lab coat. I watched as the man was injecting something into the blind boy. The blind boy was being held down by the guards then what seemed like forever they finally left.

It had been about two weeks since this visitor of mine ate my food. I didn't mind though but I kind of wished that they would have said something before leaving.

Then again, I can't see them so maybe they didn't want to pity me so they left.

Now here I was being injected by the scientist while his guards held me down. I've gone through this for a very long time and since then I had grown a huge fear of people.

I sat alone in a room on the floor after they left. From how the floor felt it was rough carpet but it was kind of cold in there.

As far as I knew, I was always alone but had no one to talk to, well more like I was too scared to talk to anyone.

Since I was younger I never really talked much, more like I had no reason to but then as I got older I began growing a fear of people but I shuddered at my own thoughts.

Just then I turned my head.

"Hello?"

I heard a pair of boots land before me and began to reach out. I heard one of the boots move back but the other stayed.

'Maybe, they don't want me to touch them.'

I pulled back then I heard the boot move back in place. I lowered my head then spoke.

"How can I tell that it's you?"

No answer.

I lifted my head.

"So can I smell you since you won't let me touch you?"

No answer but I heard movement as if they leaned in closer. I leaned in and began sniffing them then they stepped back.

"You smell sweet."

I heard a 'tch' sound then more shuffling as if they took a seat.

I turned my head.

"You don't talk much either? Same here."

The next thing I felt was me being tackled to the floor and the person got on top of me. I felt them take my eye cover off but I was suddenly in a shock of fear.

"No...please...don't hurt me..."

I then felt them get off only to hear them talk.

"So you are blind."

I heard my eye cover hit the floor then the person, now a girl spoke.

"I thought that you were practicing something so I did that."

I sat up and quickly reached out to her.

"No, wait."

I wasn't sure how but I managed to grab her ankle and she spoke.

"Let go."

I was scared but I didn't to be alone, not when the scientist were going to come back at any time.

"Please don't leave. Will you at least visit?"

She didn't say anything at first then she sighed.

"Very well, I'll pay visits to you."

With that she was gone.

I hugged my knees to my chest.

'Will she really visit me?'

I was annoyed with myself.

I was so used to being around warriors and showing no mercy. Now for the first time for me I showed a little mercy on a human, a fucking human that is blind!

I stopped in high air.

"Maybe I should just stay with him. As long as he doesn't get too close or touch my ears I think this will work. He's not a threat and it's not like he could attack me."

I smiled to myself but then frowned when I recalled how heartless I had become, since I was young.

"Still...would I be able to trust him anyway?"

I thought back on how I saw his face. The image of his solid black eyes.

The only time I ever saw a blind person was when I was first taken under Bojack's wing. During that time he was teaching me how to be a warrior and teaching me to show no mercy.

I went to gather supplies but I had to keep my ki low otherwise those fighters from the tournament will hunt me down and finish the job.

'Should I tell him my name? Maybe when the time is right.'

I went on flying only to land on a mountain and entered a cave.

It was just to rest without any trouble but I could only hope that no one would find me in here.
