"What is wrong with him?" Marius thought. Enjolras was not the kind of man to be in this position.Marius could not believe what he was seeing.

Marius cleared his throat breaking the silence. He was beginning to feel a bit akward after those few moments that seemed like hours.

"Yes, Marius ..ummmm.. your wanted back in the cafe." Enjolras said tripping over his words a bit. Marius just stood and looked at him for a few moments until Enjolras said "Come on boy, it's getting late. We need to talk to you inside."

Marius obeyed and went into the cafe and Enjolras followed the door closing behind him and trapping Eponine out in the cold of Winter.

She watched through windows as they studied and wrote battle plans. She glared as each one stood up and gave a speech about a new and free Republic to come. Though she could hear little but the cheers after each man's turn.

She wished more than anyhting to be in there with them. Just because she was a street girl didn't mean she couldn.t be interested in polotics and other issues. But for now she was content on watching from a shattered window out on the winter's night.
