I Wish…..

AN: This poem is from Rose's POV. My idea of what she would think as she looked at the stars of the alternate universe, lonely but not alone.

Twinkle twinkle little star,
How I wish you weren't so far.
Beacons of the black, black night
I wish his arms could hold me tight.
But he is there and I am here
And up above you cannot hear.
Yet every night I wish and dream
That he would find some hidden seam,
And bridge the universe's divide,
And not be angry that I lied,
For in my arms our child I hold,
A daughter, nearly four weeks old.
Sparkling stars I implore you now,
Lead him back to us somehow.
How I wish we weren't alone!
How I wish that I was home!
