Three months after Valka brought Hiccup with her over to the Hofferson's home where Hiccup was displaying a liking to Astrid. Hiccup is now thirteen months old. Astrid is ten months old. Snotlout is nine months old. Fishlegs is eight months old. Same as Tuffnut Thorston and Ruffnut Thorston. Stoick smiles at how far Hiccup was coming. Valka was watching Hiccup sleep in his crib, she sighs "I pray to Odin that he survives through the winter year."

Stoick holds Valka close to him with his arm around her waist and her head laying on his shoulder. "So do I Valka" After standing there watching him sleep, they decide to leave the his room to go to bed. Stoick goes to his dresser and pulls out his pajamas to wear. Valka looks through her pajamas and finds a pair to wear. She looks at Stoick and ask "tomorrow night, are you going out to the Great hall to have a guys night out?"

Stoick smiles "no unless you want to invite the moms over for a playdate?" Valka smiles bashfully "yes I would like to invite the moms over to talk about their kids and see how the moms are doing with their kids." Stoick looks at her and smiles "sure, me and the guys could use a guys night out. Tell me what happens after the playdate." Valka smiles "I will, but you can read them in Hiccup's memory book that I'm writing in for him."

Stoick ask "did you write that cute memory of Hiccup wanting Astrid to sit by him on the floor and hold his hand in front of Astrid's parents?" Valka sighs "yes dear but I think I should label it Hiccup and Astrid's together memories so that Astrid has rights to read it too." Stoick smiles "you should do that." Next morning Valka woke up from her sleep and leaves to go check on Hiccup. Stoick gets up and walks downstairs to prepare breakfast themselves.

Valka walks in Hiccup's bedroom and goes over to his crib to see him sleeping. She runs her hand over his head down his back. "Hey there my little Hiccup. Time to wake up cutie." Hiccup yarns sleepy waking up. Valka picks him up and carries him downstairs to have breakfast. Stoick was preparing breakfast for them. Valka looks at Stoick and smiles "good morning honey, making breakfast?" Stoick smiles "yes dear, I'm making breakfast for us."

Valka sets Hiccup in his high chair. She goes over to the cabinet and grab a package of pourage to make for Hiccup. Stoick sets their breakfast down on the table. Stoick walks over to Hiccup's high chair and starts feeding him while Valka eats breakfast first today. Valka sighs and ask "do you think we would be seeing another Dragon Raid soon?" Stoick looks at her and says "I hope not, we aren't ready for another Dragon Raid and winter in the same year."

After having breakfast, Stoick and Valka take baby Hiccup out to see what is today's agenda. Stoick took Hiccup to the council meeting room since it was his day to spend with him. Valka left to go see what the villagers need help with. Freya walks up to her carrying baby Snotlout. She ask Freya "when does my brother Spitelout take a day to spend with Snotlout?" Freya sighs "he said that he can't take care of him during the day because he has to help take care of the village."

Valka smiles "Stoick took Hiccup with him to the council meeting and where ever he has to go for the day." Freya looks at her and ask "you two take turns with spending a day with Hiccup?" Valka smiles "yes, yesterday was my with him. Now today he's with Stoick then tomorrow it's my turn with him again." Freya leaves to go see what Spitelout is doing. Valka yells before she leaves "I'm inviting the moms over tonight with their children for a playdate while the guys are having a guys night out tonight."

Freya yells back "I'll be sure to let the moms know." Valka through the square looking at the family having a nice day with their families. Ingrid walks over with Alistair carrying baby Astrid in his arms. Valka smiles "baby Astrid is looking beautiful as ever." Alistair smirks "yes she is, the only question is when she grows up what does she want to be, a sheild maiden or a married woman?" Ingrid looks at her daughter and says "we should wait until after she turns fourteen to decide if she wants to get married."

Valka smirks "well I know one thing, Hiccup surely likes baby Astrid here." Astrid turns to the woman mention her name. Ingrid ask Valka "did Stoick say he was going to have a guys night out tonight?" Valka smiles "he said yes, so are you coming over tonight with baby Astrid for a playdate?" Ingrid looks at Astrid in her father's arms and ask "Astrid do you want to go over to the Haddock's house for a playdate with the other kids?" Astrid tilts her head at the question and nods her head yes.

Ingrid looks back at Valka and says "yes we will come over." Valka smiles "it starts at six tonight." Ingrid nods her head yes "we will be there." Valka leaves to go see what Stoick and Hiccup are doing right now. Alistair and Ingrid take baby Astrid back home after taking a walk around the village. Ingrid cooks lunch for them while Alistair sets Astrid down next to her toys to play with. Alistair sign "I wonder if Hiccup could win your love in the future."

Astrid smiles "hicc-up" Alistair ask "can you say that again?" Astrid tilts her head at him again. Ingrid walks into the living room and ask "what's wrong dear?" Alistair looks at her and says "Astrid said Hiccup." Astrid smiles at the name "Hicc-up." Ingrid gasped at her daughter saying Hiccup. Alistair looks at his daughter and says "I think our daughter likes Hiccup" Astrid goes back to playing with her toys. Ingrid sighs "well we have a lot of time to worry about that."

Ingrid finish making lunch and tells "Alistair lunch is ready." Alistair picks Astrid up and carries her to the kitchen to feed her lunch. Ingrid looks Alistair and says "don't worry about her. I have to change her diaper." Alistair nods his head in understanding setting Astrid down and begins changing her diaper. Ingrid comes over to him and ask "do you want me to take over?" Alistair shakes his head no "I got this." Ingrid goes back to the kitchen to wait on them.

Alistair walks in carrying Astrid. Ingrid ask her "are you ready to meet Hiccup your baby boyfriend?" Astrid blushes at the feeling of love. Alistair smirks "my daughter likes a boy." Ingrid feeds Astrid pourage for lunch. Ingrid has a sandwich for lunch. Alistair has a plate of fish for lunch. After having lunch Ingrid takes Astrid back in the living room to play with her toys while she does a little house cleaning. Alistair leaves to go to see what Stoick is doing.

Few hours later it was dinner time and everyone came into the Great Hall to eat and talk amongst each other. Stoick and Valka sat at the head of the hall with baby Hiccup sitting in between them in his high chair. Stoick looks at the villagers and announces that so far we haven't had a dragon raid again which means we might be getting a break this year but can't be sure of it. Everyone cheered at no dragon raid possibility. Valka sighs just wanting to try and end the war between Vikings and Dragons.

After dinner, Valka took Hiccup home to get changed. Ingrid took Astrid as well as the other moms. After changing Hiccup's diaper, Mrs. Ingerman arrive carrying baby Fishlegs Ingerman. Next was Mrs. Thorston carrying baby Tuffnut in her left arm and baby Ruffnut in her right arm. Freya came over carrying Snotlout. Hiccup was coloring on his coloring book but stopped to see moms bringing their babies over for a playdate. The moms walk into the kitchen room to talk with Valka.

Last one to arrive was Ingrid walking in the house carrying baby Astrid and her blocks. She sets Astrid down in the living room and walks into the kitchen to join the other moms. Fishlegs looks at Astrid playing with her blocks and offers her one of his cookies. Ruffnut and Tuffnut start arguing over the same toy. Snotlout walks over to Hiccup to see him drawing in his coloring book. He flips the page over on him. Hiccup looks at him wondering why he did that for.

Astrid looks at the boy messing with Hiccup and throws her block at his head. Snotlout turns to the girl who threw it and sighs walking away from Hiccup. Astrid walks over to Hiccup and sits down next to him. Hiccup hands her a crayon to color. Astrid takes the crayon and begins to eat it. Hiccup stops her from eating it and takes her hand and uses it to color in his coloring book. A couple of hours later the moms left with their kids.

Ingrid stayed a little longer talking to Valka about what Hiccup and Astrid would be doing if they ended up together. After talking with her she gathers up Astrid's blocks and tells Astrid say goodbye to Hiccup. Valka tells Hiccup to say goodbye to Astrid. Ingrid picks up Astrid to leave. Hiccup looks at them leaving and reaches up to Valka. Valka smiles and picks up Hiccup. Hiccup turns around to reach Astrid wanted her.

Valka looks at Ingrid and ask "could you stay a little longer?" Ingrid looks at Astrid reaching for Hiccup and says "maybe we could stay a little longer." Ingrid sets Astrid down next to Hiccup to play with him and walks back into the kitchen with Valka. Half an hour later they walk back into the living room to see Astrid sleeping next to Hiccup. Valka looks at them and ask Ingrid "if something happens to me, could you look out for Hiccup as his step mother for me?"

Ingrid turns to Valka, then back to Hiccup and Astrid sleeping next to each other and says "sure Valka, I'll watch out for Hiccup for you." Ingrid takes Astrid back home to sleep for the night. Valka takes Hiccup upstairs and tucks him in his crib for the night. Stoick walks in the house and goes upstairs to sleep. Valka writes down in Hiccup and Astrid's together memories for Hiccup and Astrid to read together. Then heads off to bed

Next morning Stoick and Valka wake up and get Hiccup up for breakfast. Valka changes Hiccup's diaper and into fresh change clothes. Stoick heads out to look over the village. Valka takes Hiccup into the village to see what needs to be done. Stoick went to today's council meeting to hear from the members of the elders need done. After the meeting, Stoick leaves to meet up with Valka and Hiccup. Valka looks at the village and sighs deeply everything is good for now.

Even comes and still no dragon raid yet. Stoick looks at Valka and Hiccup and says "I think you should put Hiccup up in one of the watch towers for tonight. Valka looks at him and ask "are you sure he will be safe in their house" Stoick smiles "yes I'm sure he'll be safe in there." Night time came and soon the blow horn was being blown signaling that dragons are coming to raid them. Valka trys to stop them from attacking the villages peaceful way.

She looks at one of the watch towers where Hiccup is staying to see a storm cutter break into the watch tower and runs into their house. Stoick looks at Valka run into their house that Hiccup was in and goes in after her. Valka reached Hiccup's bedroom to see the Storm Cutter playing with Hiccup in his crib. Valka looks at the dragon being calm around Hiccup. Stoick comes up to see the dragon yells. The Storm Cutter turns to guy coming at him with an ax and grabs Valka and flys out the window of Hiccup's bedroom. Stoick yells "Valka!"
