This is my second chapter of my fanfic. This time silver weed will be added in this chapter.

I know he was old at the end of season 3 but I was thinking he should be young again in this story.

It was the next morning and pipkin groaned in pain as he saw bigwig sleeping next to him. He gasped. He didn't realise that he helped him sleep throughout the night.

"Morning pipkin, morning bigwig" pipkin heard black berry say as she came into view. She noticed he was getting better but was still in pain. "How do you feel pipkin?" Blackberry asked him sweetly.

Pipkin smiled as she asked him. She was so motherly to pipkin. And that's why he loved her like a son loves his mother. "I'm alright, still in pain but not as bad as before" he winced as he felt another pain. This time it was getting worser but pipkin thought he was getting better so he tried to ignore it.

Blackberry was In doubt though, as she can see pipkin was clearly in pain. "Well alright...but if you get any worse though, we are taking you to get cared from humans" pipkin gasped as he heard what she said.

"Humans?" He asked. Blackberry nodded. " I know it may seem scary but some humans may not be bad,we'll just have to go there since hazels not here at the moment" she responded gently but sternly.

pipkin nodded and decided to head out but as he did, he noticed bigwig Still sleeping and had a thought running through his mind. 'why was bigwig sleeping with me last night? Was he...worried about me?"

He noticed bigwig waking up and he saw pipkin and smiled. "Morning lad, how ya feeling?" Pipkin nodded his head as he was still unsure on Why he stayed with pipkin last night.

"I'm alright, just a bit sore still but, I'm alright now," he said as he looked down and continued

"I'm sorry you had to watch over me last night. I hope I wasn't a bother to you." Pipkin looked down in shame but looked up as he felt a paw on his back. He saw bigwig smiling at him. "Don't worry pipkin, I was worried about you and I thought that you needed someone to look out for you when your in excruciating pain"

Pipkin laughed "that is a big word coming from a 'wise' owsla captain" Bigwig smirked as he playfully hit him on the shoulder "Don't get any ideas lad, I know what you were gonna say"

Pipkin gasped playfully "and why would I say, that was rare of you to say something smart? Hm" pipkin enjoyed joking with bigwig but that all stopped When they saw campion hopping up to them

"I see that your getting better pipkin" pipkin nodded, but that was a lie, he was really in pain but he tried to hide it the best he could so he wouldn't go to humans.

Campion looked at him suspiciously at him but shrugged it off, knowing it wouldn't help if he forced it out from the young buck. They all headed out and it was a beautiful day, and pipkin, to his surprise saw silver weed back to his normal self.

He hopped towards him. "Silver weed? I thought you were old" pipkin asked him "Well I was until there was a spell from hedge that I could return back to my old self, so, I guess you can call it luck" silverweed stated proudly but he looked at him nervous this time as he found out what's wrong with him.

"So? You are better now?" He asked pipkin nervously. Pipkin looked at him and saw him smiling Sadly and looked away. Silver weed placed a paw on his shoulder as he tried to help him

"you don't have to hide it from me, I understand what your trying to do. But I don't understand why though. Why won't you let us help you?" Pipkin saw silver weeds sympathetic look and sighed. He couldn't lie to him. He would just see right through him.

"Well, I tried to hide my pain is because...I'm afraid" Silver weed was taken aback. He was afraid. ' of what thought?' He thought. "Why are you afraid?... It's okay to tell me, I won't tell anyone" pipkin noticed he was being genuine when he said that. Pipkin was gonna explain but hears campion calling out to him.

"I'll tell you later. Campion probably needs me for something" silver weed nodded, smiling. He hoped pipkin would get better soon. He was such an adorable bunny and hopefully pipkin could tell him his secret. Pipkin hopped away towards campion as he noticed him but pipkin stopped as he bent down in pain again. 'Why me? Shouldn't the pain stop already?' He thought as he was trying not to cry.

Campion noticed pipkin and hopped towards him. He looked concerned "Pipkin, you alright? What's wrong?" Pipkin didn't hear him as his pain was getting worser and worser as he felt like he could faint. Pipkin last heard campion cry his name before he blacked out completely.

Pipkin woke up in pain again as he noticed he was in his barrow. He noticed his friends were there with him. They all looked at him, worried for their friend as fiver came up to him as he placed a paw on his shoulder.

"Are you alright pipkin?" Fiver asked concerned. "Yeah, you look like you were gonna be sick" hawkbit joked but Dandelion glared at him. "Your not helping, hawkbit"

Pipkin couldn't help but chuckle. 'my friends sure know what to say' he thought "I'm alright now, I think" pipkin spoke weakly. He told himself more to the others but tried to reassure them that he's fine.

"Alright boys leave pipkin alone to rest" he heard blackberry talking to them. They reluctantly obeyed and each gave him a hug and left. Blackberry smiled sadly "well, how do you feel now pipkin?" Pipkin nodded his head as she examined him. "What happened?" He asked weakly as he couldn't remember anything.

"Well, campion found you when you fainted, probably from the pain and he brought you here" she looked worried. Didn't he remember what happened? Pipkin could only nod his head. Now he realised what happened. He couldn't take it anymore and decided to tell her about his pain.

"Blackberry, I'm sorry, I couldn't hold it in much longer. I'm in a lot of pain, I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner but I was afraid i might go to humans. I shouldn't be afraid of them, but I heard most animals don't survive and- and-" Pipkin could hold it in longer, as he sobbed.

Blackberry smiled sympathetically "Pipkin...not all animals die and humans need to fix animals one way or another" She hugged him softly as he still cried.

"What's gonna happen to me?" Pipkin asked Blackberry hesitated "well, they might have to take your appendix out" Pipkin looked confused "what's that?" He asked.

"An appendix is a, um, how should I explain this, an appendix is something inside your body near your side. It really doesn't do much and if its taken out, it doesn't really affect you at all. But if its hurt badly, it could be fatal." Blackberry tried to explain. Pipkin nodded his head. He understood on what it means now.

"When would I be going to humans?" He asked hesitantly Blackberry looked at him sadly

"tomorrow, when hazel and the others return" Pipkin nodded his head, he sure missed them, especially snowdrop- Wait did he think about snowdrop? Does he really like her like that? 'Why am I having sudden feelings towards snowdrop?' He asked himself.

"Well, I think you should rest now, since you've been having rough days" Blackberry stated. She noticed he was in deep thought and decided to leave him be. As she hopped away, she noticed campion looking at her in worry.

" oh campion, it's awful, why does pipkin have to suffer like this? " she cried as campion hugged her. He was sad too. Poor pipkin, he used to be full of life and now...he was in pain.

"im worried too blackberry, I really am, but I know that tomorrow he will get better, he has to" he tried to reassure her and himself.

'I Pray to frith that he will be alright'
