CHRYSTAL'S POV
I slowly open my eyes. I am lying in a bed and Newt is sitting with me, wetting a towel in cool water and placing it on my forehead.
"hey, you're awake love" he says. Did he just call me love?
"how do you feel"? he asks.
"mmmm. my head hurts"
"you'll be ok"
"Why does she hate me? I didn't do anything she's being horrible for no reason" I say after a while.
Newt doesn't respond, he just looks down and nods.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to talk about your girlfriend like that" I say sympathetically.
"it's ok. she's not my girlfriend anymore."
"oh, what happened" I ask and try to sit up. It made my head hurt more. Newt slowly lowers me down.
"we had another fight. I don't like what she did to you and ever since I told her to stop annoying you we've had fights and she didn't stop getting off my back either, I couldn't take it so I broke up with her." he says.
"I'm so sorry" I say.
"don't be, I'm glad I broke up with her."
The next morning I wake up to Newt sitting by me still. It looks pretty early in the morning. Newt is awake.
"Morning love" He called me love again.
"morning" i say and sit up. It doesn't hurt so much anymore.
"hey, you can sit up" he says happily.
"yeah".
"do you want to go outside for a bit"? he asks after a bit.
"sure" i say. We both get up and walk outside. Newt had his arm snaked around my waist for support. I told him i didn't need it but he kept it there anyway. I'm not complaining.
We sit on one of the logs. everyone is still asleep.
"hey Newt. Thanks for being there for me" I say and look into his eyes.
"It's alright love" he says and wraps his hand around mine. We look at each other for a bit. He's leaning in closer and closer to me. I don't say a word and do as he is doing.
Our lips meet. They move in sync as his hands go to my waist, pulling me closer into his embrace and mine to the back of his neck. We pull apart for small breaths and go back together.
We pull apart and I rest my head o his chest and he rests his chin on my head.
"i love you Chrystal"
"I love you too Newt"
