"Goodnight, Prince Dragneel." A tired servant pronounced with a thick accent bowing. Planning to leave the extensive bedroom belonging to the prince, he opened the door.

Said pink haired prince sighed from his position on large bed, "I told you to call me Natsu" He angrily exclaimed sick of hearing 'prince this' or 'prince that'.

The servant sighed from the repeated exclamation, "Sorry, I'm afraid, your father told me I cannot call you by your first name."

Natsu rolled his eyes exaggeratedly, "Fine, good night." the servant left leaving Natsu alone in his room. As soon as he saw the room door close and heard the servant walk away he shot up out of his bed and quickly rushed over to his large walk in wardrobe grabbing his shoes. Sitting down on his plush carpet he put on his boots, petting his blue cat strutting up to him, "Hey buddy, I'll be back soon alright?" He got up and opened his window looking around to make sure there were no guards patrolling. Seeing and hearing no one he jumped out.

Chapter 2:

Recognition

Natsu landed gracefully and hid behind a bush his toned body allowing him to do so. He fixed his white scaled scarf before looking around he saw no one and followed the darkness, he didn't exactly want to be caught and brought back to his room. He tip-toed over to a white fence and climbed over it stealthily, he was now met with a large forest he often found himself exploring. He needed to walk around, being a prince isn't particularly easy although it may seem like it and he didn't want to sleep, he knew it was ridiculous that he was afraid to fall asleep. Well he wasn't afraid he was just shy, which was very weird for Natsu's personalities and for sleeping. How can you be shy to sleep? You see it makes sense in Natsu's position as every time he would sleep, he would see the most beautiful woman he has seen. Her long blonde hair that would flow through his fingers and her bright brown eyes he would find himself getting lost in.

He continued walking through the forest and noticed an intense yellow light floating around in front of him, he wanted to touch it. So, he reached forward his large hands almost touching it but failing as it flew off into the night. Out of curiosity as to what it was he chased it, almost tripping over several twigs, he found himself at a pond and watched as the light orb disappeared into the water. He walked closer and tried to look for any signs of the weird orb but was shocked to see someone in the water unconscious, it was a woman! Jumping into action he jumped in and pulled her out. He didn't know what to do so he ran home not even registering who he was carrying. Running up to the gate he forced the guards to help him, they took the woman into the castle and made him go to his father. He was already dreading the conversation he was about to have, walking down the hall he turned and was able to catch a glimpse of the woman he found, she was blonde like the girl in his dreams but before he could investigate he was pulled into a room, "Natsu, what happened?" A giant man with red scruffy hair stood across from Natsu crossing his arms in anger, "I told you not to wonder outside without telling me and now you've come back with an unconscious woman. Why can't you understand I only have these rules put in place for your safety." He shouted out taking a step closer to his nervous son.

Natsu pulled at his scaled white scarf gifted to him by his father and gulped, "Well if I didn't go out tonight that woman would have died and besides I'm twenty-five, give me a break." Natsu answered leaning back against the desk.

His father sighed, "I know you're older but you're of marriageable age, who is going to marry a miscreant like you?" He asked him uncrossing his arms.

Natsu grunted, "What if I don't want to get married?" he asked getting ready to leave the room.

The door opened interrupting the two of them, "Igneel dear, what is happening?" A beautiful white-haired woman wearing a fluffy red robe walked over to her son and put her arms around him looking to see if he was okay.

Natsu pulled the worried hands off his face, "Mom, I'm fine. I just found this lady and brought her back here. Oh, and she wasn't breathing." His mother sent a confused, angry look over to her husband who gulped and pulled his wife to him, "Ava, honey. Honestly, I am in the exact same boat as you. All I know is he snuck out and found a young lady unconscious in a pond."

Ava sighed and told Natsu off, telling him there are consequences for his actions and later forced him to go to his room. Natsu wanted to go and see the blonde woman he found but his father had locked him in his room. He sat petting his cat when he was rushed with multiple images of the woman again and fell asleep right on the spot not waking up till morning.

When Natsu woke up, he was eager to find out about his new house guest but was sad to find out she was yet to awaken so he ate his breakfast with his pet cat in his lap, "Natsu, I know you love Happy but don't you think you should put him down while you're eating?" A small girl who Natsu had come to love as Wendy spoke with a certain cheeriness in her voice.

Natsu smiled at her, "Hey Wendy." Wendy smiled back and approached the table, "Hey Natsu, I'm sure you'll be glad to know the woman you brought back yesterday is awake but she seems very cautious." Natsu shot up from his seat and rushed off to the infirmary, "I couldn't find your mother or father so I decided to come to you."

Natsu smiled, "They actually just left to go to visit the towns people, kind of a bad idea considering we just got a new visitor." Upon entering he saw the young woman standing looking out the window. Once she turned he recognised her immediately, "It's you" he said almost syncing up with the blonde woman before him who seemed to have shouted a similar response. Before he could continue he felt himself falling and within seconds he was dreaming of the girl he had finally met.

So I have some bad news. I kind of timed me posting this story really bad, I have exams soon and I need to focus on those. Therefore I need to put this story on a hold for a while. I hope you guys don't mind. This doesn't mean I won't finish the story but there won't be chapters for a while.

She screamed and moved backwards looking up she saw the pink haired from before and looked down blushing remembering her dream and how close and indecent they were. She heard clearing of a throat so she looked up and saw the man looking at her with curious eyes.
