DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN PJO!

Chapter 2:

Percy's P.O.V

"I don't believe you."

"Why not?!" Nico exclaimed, shock was written all over his face. I rolled my eyes.

"You expect me to just believe some random stranger? For all I know, you might as well be kidnappers," I said.

"We're not kidnappers, we're..." Nico stopped talking, he looked both ways as if expecting someone to be eavesdropping and said in a low voice, "ninjas...". I raised an eyebrow and looked at Thalia.

"Uh... actually no. I can assure you we are not ninjas," Thalia said.

"You just blew my cover!" Nico hissed at Thalia.

"What cover? Anyway, we do have evidence. Your dad, is our dad's brother," Thalia said, pointing at me then at Nico and herself.

My dad? I've never heard much about my dad. My mom said my dad was a sailor, and he left my mom and I before I was born.

"Where's the evidence?" I asked.

"Let me finish!" Thalia argued. She stuck her hand in her jean pocket and took out a crumpled piece of paper. She gave it to me. It was a picture of a man and a woman holding hands and laughing. The man was wearing a green t-shirt and brown pants. He had black hair and sea-green eyes... just like me. The woman was wearing a white blouse and blue jeans. She had brown hair and blue eyes. The woman was my mom. Sally Jackson. "This is your mom, right? And this man, standing next to her, is your dad. Poseidon."

Thalia pulled another photo out of her pocket and held it out in front of her. It was a picture of three men standing next to each other, one of the men was Poseidon. "This is my dad," She explained, pointing at a man standing in the middle with the same color hair and eyes as herself. She pointed at the man on the right side of her dad. "and this is Nico's dad." Just like Nico, his dad had black hair and brown eyes. She pointed at the man on the left side of her dad. "And this, is once again, Poseidon. Your dad." All three of the men were wearing a white collared shirt and black pants. They all had frowns on their faces, as if they can't stand being near each other.

"You can't say you can't see the family resemblance!" Nico said, smiling. Thalia smiled too.

"I-I guess... I can see that..." I reluctantly replied. They both beamed at me.

"Now that you know us. Let's go, then!" Thalia declared, she grabbed the picture back from my hands and stuck both pictures back in her pocket. Both she and Nico turned around and started heading out the cafeteria door.

"Go where? Why are we leaving? And I just met you two!" I shouted out.

"Are we really going over this again? We're family! Trust us!" Thalia yelled back. Deciding against staying in this creepy room filled with statue-like people, I ran out the door after them.

"Hey! Wait up!"
