SUPER ULTRA BLAH BLAH BLAH: Hey guys this is the second chapter of One Last Adventure. Once again I'm not sure where this story is heading, but worry not, I DO have a plot. I'm not sure if anyone would like it but this chapter will be longer than the first one. (The first one was a pilot chapter) ANYWAY on with the story!

"Toph, it's been so long!" Katara said as she went to embrace the earth bender. Toph slightly blushed at the contact and happiness of being rejoined with one of her last remaining friends again.

"Geez Sugar Queen, Let go before you squeeze the rest of my life out of me." Toph said as Katara chuckled and took a step away. Lin's footsteps closed in and then she appeared in the doorway. She seemed out of breath.

"I am sorry for the intrusion, but have you seen-Chief!" Lin let out a relieved breath. Pema then offered her a cup of water which Lin eagerly accepted.

"What are you doing here Toph? Tenzin had told me you had returned with Suyin back to her home." Katara continued.

"That WAS the plan, but when I heard you were coming to Republic City I couldn't leave without doing something." Toph said with a cheeky grin. Lin did not like that grin.

"Do what?" Tenzin and Kya asked. Toph waved them off and acted like she didn't hear them. She then walked into the room where Katara's belonging were and picked up on of the bags.

"Toph?" Katara asked curiously. Toph then pointed at the door.

"Let's go Sugar Queen, We need to find a boat to take us to the Swamp right now if we want to make it there before Tomorrow night."

"WHAT?!"

Everyone stared at the blind earth bender like if she lost her marbles. Probably. I mean, she WAS old.

"What are you saying Chief?" Lin asked, disbelieved.

"I mean, Sugar Queen and I are going on our own vacation! We haven't had a good adventure since….since the Gaang was together." Toph then looked at Katara's direction. "C'mon Katara, we are warriors! We weren't meant to sit around and be taken care of! Let's go and see the new world! I mean, well, YOU see the new world." Everyone had grown quiet. Toph voice then dropped to a soft whisper.

"I don't want to die like Sokka and Aang…. I want to have one last adventure."

Katara stared at her old friend. She never noticed how deep her wrinkles were. Hers were probably deeper. This was the first time that Toph had mentioned Aang or her brother in years. Maybe they both did need a vacation.

"Alright."

"Mother you cannot be serious! It is not good for your age to be running around in the swamp or anywhere else! And you just got here." Tenzin said as he tried to make his mother see his way.

"HEY! WE ARE NOT THAT OLD BALDY!" Toph exclaimed as she bended a pebble at him.

"I'm going too." Kya said as she put a hand on Katara's shoulder. "Tenzin, Mom isn't that young anymore and the last thing she needs is be stuck on an island with you breathing down her shoulder." Toph gave a laugh and punched Kya on the arm.

"I like this one!" She laughed. Tenzin was about to protest but Pema held him back.

"Tenzin, I think this is a great Idea. Your mother has not done anything for herself for years. She even taught Korra. Your mother is a master water bender and Toph is the greatest earth bender, I'm sure they can take good care of themselves. Plus with Kya with them, nothing will go wrong."

Tenzin stayed quiet for a while. He then looked at Lin. Lin then nodded. He still felt conflicted, but he knew Pema was right.

"Alright, but you will not leave tonight, I'll get a boat for you first thing in the morning."

And he did. It was a small boat and a small amount of crew men. Actually it was a good amount of attractive men on board, Kya had to admit.

"Alright men, we have two respective Master Benders and there lovely escort coming on board, remember your manners men and don't underestimate our guest!" The Captain yelled to his crew man and then walked towards Katara, Toph, Kya, Tenzin and Lin.

"Hello everyone I am Sparrow, the captain of this ship, if you have any problems or any concerns, please do not hesitate to tell me." Capt. Sparrow said as he held Kya's hand and kissed it, "any concerns." Kya giggled.

"Well I guess this is it mother, Please be careful on your trip." Tenzin said as he hugged Katara. "Keep an eye on them Kya."

Kya smiled as she hugged her brother. "I will"

"Have fun Chief" Lin said as she put her arm on Toph's shoulder. "Oh you know I will." Toph said as she gave a slight grin.

The trio boarded the ship and watched as Lin and Tenzin disappeared in the distance.

"So, we are going to the swamp now." Kya said as she leaned against the boat railing.

"No."

"What?!" Katara and Kya said at the same time. Toph ignored them both and walked straight to the Captain.

"Captain, it seems that we are missing one last person on this journey." The captain raised an eyebrow. "In Republic City?" He asked.

"No, in the Fire Nation."

Oh snap! Who is the missing person? And whats up with the Captain and Kya? REVIEW please! And tell me if you want the Captain to be an Earth bender, Fire, or water. CHEERS!
