Chapter 2

"Molli are you sure? It was just a dream, could have meant anything," Jacob asked. Last night I had a dream that not only Lain was alive he was very much well and alive. He had to be.

"I'm telling you Jacob, it's not just a dream but I have this feeling, that he's still out there," I replied.

"But you and I both saw him, he slid in to that room, like that Tomer guy said, he eliminated him," Jacob protested. Jacob and I continued back to the water science place we had just been.

"Maybe the elimination meant just erasing his existence, not actually killing him," I suggested.

"Well, that is the only way he could be alive," Jacob pointed out. It was a mystery. A mystery we were going to solve. We eventually arrived at the water experimentation center.

"We enter through that door because it's not the main entrance," I said pointing to a door.

"Good idea. We don't want to be seen," Jacob agreed. Jacob and I walked down halls to double doors and opened them. I was filled with a huge fenced-in pool with kids and a some sitting room inside the fences so kids could just sit. To Jacob's and my surprise we Saw Laine! Alive and well!

"Laine! What? How," I started t ask. I couldn't believe it.

" I know this is probably very shocking for you," Laine said getting out of the water and looking through the fence. He explained that nothing bad happened to him. He had just slid into this room.

"Wow! We're glad to see you're okay," Jacob said.

"Why don't you guys hang out here for a little bit too," Laine said.

"Totally," Jacob explained.

"I'm game," I added. Then all three of us dived into the pool.
