Tsukasa and Ryuji have survived everything and finally thought they could be together, but it is not so. Now someone new is threatening their gang and their way of life, so Tsukasa has to put her life on the line more than usual. What can she do now? Will the survive? Rated M for mature. Please comment! Chapter one: A new Beginning

She got into the car and slid over so Ryuji could be next to her. Sighing softly, she picked up the documents that had been left for them before she started to flip through them, hearing the paper's rustle slightly as she checked out what they were heading into. Ever since she had become the new Sesai, she had gotten used to both the politics, and the new danger that both he and she were now in. After checking everything, she handed the paper to him and raised an eyebrow, waiting for him to take it from her.

He did, flipping through it himself and scrunching up his forehead in thought before finishing and putting the papers back into the folder neatly. When he turned to her, she knew he had grasped the situation, maybe even more than she had. "So, another rebellion." she whispered softly as he nodded and ran a hand through his hair in aggravation. "They couldn't stay still just this once. Tsukasa, we should have guessed that this would have happened as soon as someone new tried to move into our territory. What do you think we should do?" he asked.

She shook her head and turned to look forward, calculating in her head exactly what they should do with their little 'problem'. "Well, of course we can't let them undermine us. We'll have to show them a lesson." she said softly before looking up at him, her eyes wide. "Are you sure there's no other way?" "Well, we could strangle out the competition..." he answered, trying to soothe her. Nodding, she looked out the window. "So just make sure they can't get income, and we'll be safe? We have the numbers and the influence, but something tells me if will take more than just that for this to go away." "I agree." Ryuji easily answered as he looked down at his hip and where the gun was strapped. "We'll cross that bridge when we come to it." he said softly before reaching over and gently turned her face to look at him. "I love you." he added softly before kissing her soft lips. Tsuakasa sighed softly and kissed him back, her eyes sliding closed just as the car pulled up to a curb and stopped. They were there. "I love you too." With that, they got out of the car so they could start the negotiations with the Osaka Yakuza. Who were they to think they could take Tokyo from them?
