"LOCK THE DOORS AND WINDOWS! FUCKING LOCK THEM!" Len screamed, running and tripping down the stairs.
Everyone look at him like he was crazy.
"Len, what's your problem?" Gakupo asked.
"IT'S TEI, SHE TOLD ME SHE'S COMING AFTER LAUGHING PSYCHOTICALLY! SHE'S A YANDERE AND SHE'S COMING TO KILL US!" Len screamed.
"Tei? The girl at the beach yesterday? But she seemed so nice…" Miku said.
"YOU GUYS DON'T UNDERSTAND!" Len screamed, desperation in his eyes.
"Well, explain!" Luka said.
"I DON'T HAVE TIME! SHE'S COMING!" Len yelled, looking like he was about to pull out his hair.
"Guys, I think we should trust Len. Come on, let's do what he says." Rin said.
Everyone looked at each other and nodded. Teto locked the front door and everyone else locked the windows and other doors.
"Teto, you need to go back to the other UTAU's and tell them to call the police, NOW." Len said.
"But Len, I'm a chimera! I have to stay here and help you guys!" Teto said.
"Teto, chimera or not, you haven't ever fought anything." Len said.
"Let me call the police." Teto said.
Len ran back to his room and grabbed the phone and handed it to Teto. Teto dialed the number and the phone picked up.
"Hello? Is this the police?" Teto asked in the phone line.
"Yes. What is your emergency?"
"It's Tei Sukone! The murderer is Tei Sukone! And she's coming here to the VOCALOID house right now! Come as quick as you can! She's almost here!" Teto yelled in the phone line.
"Ok, we need your name and-" The phone was cut off there, and a new voice replaced it.
"Nice try! You're not getting away from me that easy." It was Tei's voice.
Teto screamed and dropped the phone.
"Teto? What's wrong?" Len asked, pacing back and forth.
"Tei hacked into the phone line! The police are useless now!" Teto cried, tears forming in her eyes.
Then, they heard banging on the door.
"Oh Len-Len! Where are you? Where are you and the others? I just want to say hello! Open the door, Len-Len!" Tei cried outside the door, yanking on the handle.
Rin gasped and ran behind Len. Len's heart pounded. Surely Tei couldn't get through a door, could she?
"Oh, are we playing a game? I love games! I'm guessing it's hide-and-seek? Am I the seeker? Ok, you have 30 seconds to hide!" Tei said.
Everyone stood there, frozen on the spot.
"Hide." Len managed to gasp out.
"It's best if we split up…Luka, Gumi, come with me!" Gakupo said, grabbing both Luka and Gumi and dragging them to the basement.
"I'll stay behind. I can distract Tei for a while until you guys can find a way to either escape or find a good enough hiding spot." Teto said, heading towards the door.
"Teto, no! Tei wants me, so I should go!" Len said, walking toward Teto when Rin grabbed him.
Len looked at her, and Rin shook her head no. Teto just turned to Len and smiled. Then, in a few seconds, Teto was in full chimera form. Her black, bat-like wings out, her nails and teeth sharper, and her eyes snake-like.
"Follow me." Len said, grabbing Rin and Miku and running upstairs.
Miku looked like she was about to have a nervous breakdown and Rin looked pretty scared as well. They burst into the attic and Len opened a toy chest, taking out some of the old toys.
"Rin, get in the chest." Len said.
Rin, even though she didn't feel like getting dust all over her, nodded and climbed into the chest. Len then shut and locked it. Len looked around a bit more, trying to find a place for Miku who was whimpering behind him, trying not to cry in case she was too loud. Len then saw a wardrobe and opened it to see extremely old clothing.
"Miku, get in." Len said.
Miku climbed into the closet.
"What about you?" She asked.
"I'll find somewhere to hide. Don't worry, I won't let anything happen to you or Rin." Len said, shutting the wardrobe and covering it with a piece of loose wood he found to hide it.
Len looked for a place for him to hide, but couldn't find anything. After trying to squeeze into areas that were too small for him, he finally decided to just sit in the darkest corner. Still hearing nothing from downstairs, he started thinking that Tei had given up and left, but how wrong he was.
"All you have to do is give me Len-Len and I won't hurt any of you~!" Tei said, and Len knew she was in the living room.
If Len went to Tei, no one would get hurt, they'd all be fine. Len walked over to Rin's chest as quietly as he could and unlocked it.
"Don't get out yet, just wait for a while, ok, Rin?" Len whispered.
"Ok…" Rin responded.
"Just peak open the chest whenever you need fresh air." Len whispered, and closed it again without locking it.
He opened the closet Miku was in, and looked at her while she trembled before kissing her. Of course, Miku thought it was just a random kiss, but Len knew it was a goodbye kiss. He didn't want to tell Miku, for she'd freak out and get herself killed. Len then slowly walked downstairs after securing the closet again, and peaked over the railing to see Tei sitting on the couch, studying her knife. He purposefully made himself trip to make it look like he came down on accident and hit his head on the opposite wall, making his head spin.
"OW!" Len screamed, grabbing his throbbing head.
"Aw, poor Len-Len! You took quite a fall there!" Tei said sweetly, walking over to Len and putting the tip of her knife to Len's spine, making Len's back arch.
"No need to be afraid Len-Len! I'm not going to kill you…maybe." Tei said and giggled.
Len tried to make his vision clear, but he hit his head against the wall way too heard.
"Are you hurt, Len-Len? I'd do anything for you and you know that!" Tei said, patting him gently on the head and removing his hands from it.
She got Len into a standing position made him face her.
"Now, Len-Len, are you hurt?" Tei asked.
Len was much to scared to respond.
"Len-Len, I'm not very patient, please answer me." Tei said.
"Uh…m-maybe a l-little…" Len stuttered.
Tei gave a cheery and innocent smile, despite the fact that she wanted to kill everyone in this house.
"One more question Len-Len, do you love me?" She asked.
Len knew that he didn't love her, he loved Miku. Len never lied in his life, and he wouldn't lie now.
"No, I don't. I only like you as a friend." Len said.
Tei's smile turned into a frown.
"Ok, Len-Len, if I can't have you, nobody can!" Tei yelled, raising her butcher knife.
Len wanted to be brave, but, his cowardly instincts made him squint his eyes shut, cover himself with his hands, and scream at the top of his lungs. He then felt the knife pierce skin. And it hurt. Len found himself on the floor, blood all around him. The feeling in his chest was horrible.
He could barely breathe.
"It would've been better to lie, Len-Len, but, now it's too late to say anything, since, well, you can't." Tei said, stroking his hair with a bloody hand.
Len now knew that Tei thought he was dead. Len played along, hoping that Tei would now just get the hell out of the house. Tei then went to put her fingers to Len's neck.
"Shit…busted…" Len thought.
Just as Tei was about to make contact with his pulsing neck, Len heard her scream. He squinted his eyes open to see Teto beating the shit out of Tei in chimera form. Teto's nails dug into Tei's skin as she continually clawed at her. As Tei and Teto wrestled on the ground, digging their nails into each other, Tei finally managed to grab her knife and stab Teto with it. Teto's eyes widened as she finally rolled off of Tei, motionless.
Tei grinned at Teto's wide-eyes corpse, and turned back to Len, who was gone.
"WHAT THE HELL?" Tei yelled, looking all over the room.
Len slowly made his way up the stairs, only being able to use his hands and having to pull himself up. He was losing blood, and fast. But, if he was going to die, why was he going up? Was he trying to escape death? It was impossible now, but something kept driving him forward, no matter how much he wanted to turn back and face Tei like the non-shota he was.
After finally making his way up the stairs, he crawled to his room and into his closet. He lay against the wall, taking long, hoarse breaths.
"Oh well, I'll just have to find Len later. Now, back to killing the rest!" Tei exclaimed cheerily.
She went down the stairs she found and into what looked like the basement.
"Hm…I wonder if anyone's hiding down here?" Tei wondered out loud.
She then heard a whimper from the corner of the room and turned around to see a girl with short green hair and green goggles being hugged by a man with purple hair in a samurai outfit. She turned to them, smiling evilly. The girl screamed, seeing that Tei had found them. Tei recognized them as Gumi and Gakupo. She looked next to Gakupo and noticed a woman with long pink hair and blue eyes.
Tei knew that was Luka Megurine. She started walking towards them and Gakupo whispered something to Gumi and Luka. He got up in front of them, taking out his katana. Tei ran, much too fast for Gakupo to react, and stabbed him in the chest. She looked to see the look on his face and saw he was smirking.
"I'll wipe that smirk off your face…" Tei said in a terrifying whisper and stabbed him again.
This time, Gakupo let loose a scream. Luka grabbed Gumi's hand and started running, but Gumi struggled.
"GAKUPO! GAKUPO! GAKUPO!" Gumi kept screaming, with tears pouring out of her green eyes.
"GUMI, HE'S NOT GOING TO MAKE IT, COME ON!" Luka yelled, she was crying as much as Gumi put kept pulling her along.
Gumi shook her head, reaching out her hand to Gakupo, but kept getting pulled away by Luka. By now, Gakupo was on the floor, his eyes wide as Tei stabbed him over and over again, occasionally screaming in pain and calling out Gumi's name.
"GUMI! RUN! LUKA! PROTECT HER! Prote…Gu…mi…." Gakupo's screams finally came to a stop.
By now, Luka and Gumi were already out of the basement, running as fast as they could through the house. They ran to the door, but as they tried to open it, they found out it had been locked from the outside.
"HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?" Luka panicked, yanking on the door.
They then heard footsteps and spun around to see Tei.
"GUMI, RUN!" Luka screamed.
Gumi shook her head quickly.
"DO IT FOR GAKUPO!" Luka yelled.
Gumi looked like she was about to cry, but obeyed, and ran as Tei pinned Luka to the wall by her throat. Gumi ran through the long hallway, hearing Luka's screams of pain.
"STOP IT! STOP IT! AAAAAAAAAAAH!" Luka screamed as Tei repeatedly stabbed her.
"No wonder people loved you so much, Luka! You had such a pretty scream! But, your voice shall now never be used again!" Tei said, and left the wide-eyed corpse.
Gumi kept running through the hall, crying, and she then tripped on her own two feet. She lay there, crying, and having the breakdown she knew was coming. Gumi crawled to the living room, for her feet had given out on her, and finally heaved herself up near the couch, noticing Teto's body. But where were Miku Rin and Len?
"I have to hide…find the others…" Gumi mumbled, walking up the stairs.
When she got to the top of the stairs, she saw Len's bedroom door was open. She then noticed the trail of blood that was leading to his room. Gumi slowly walked inside and followed the blood trail, she could actually smell the blood, and slowly opened the closet to see Len. She gasped in horror, for Len was sitting there, blood surrounding his motionless body, his eyes half open and lifeless.
"Len and Teto died too…? Are Rin and Miku still alive…?" Gumi asked herself, before she felt something go up her throat, and puked on the floor.
"Gumi, that's disgusting! Why'd you have to throw up in precious Len-Len's room?" Gumi heard Tei behind her.
Her eyes widened, but before she could react, she felt Tei lean down and grab her by the head. Tei laughed psychotically and stabbed Gumi repeatedly in the side of her throat. In the attic, Rin slowly got out of the chest she was hiding in, and looked downstairs, but didn't see Tei. All she saw was a bloody Teto, and some pink hair surrounded by blood at the front door. Teto and Luka were dead.
Rin remembered hearing Gakupo's screams of agony, so he must be dead too. She also heard Len scream, but she wouldn't bring herself to thinking he was dead. She saw a blood trail and walked into Len's room to see Gumi's corpse. That adds to the list. Then she saw Len's corpse in the closet, and did the stupidest thing that someone could do in a situation like this.
She screamed at the top of her lungs.
"LEN! LEN! LEN! LEN! LEEN!" Rin screamed, running to Len's corpse and hugging it, despite all the blood dripping onto her.
Rin knew her mistake, and smacked her mouth with both hands. She bolted out of Len's bedroom door, still no sign of Tei anywhere, and started running back up the stairs to the attic. After she bolted up a few steps, she felt something grab her foot. Rin gasped and turned around to see Tei smiling psychotically. Tei pulled on her foot, tripping Rin and making her fall down the hard wooden stairs to the attic.
Tei was right above her now, and raised the knife.
"LEEN! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! AAAAAAAAAAAAAH! LEN, HELP ME!" Rin cried as Tei stabbed her repeatedly in the stomach.
Soon enough, Rin was nothing but a corpse. Tei looked up the attic steps, wondering why Rin had tried to run up there. She slowly started to walk up the steps.
Miku's p.o.v.
I was still in the closet, after hearing all those screams of pain, I didn't dare move. I just heard Rin scream, and now I'm hearing footsteps.
"Please…let this be a dream…I don't want to die…I want to be with Len and Rin and everyone else…I still want to sing…" I found myself praying out loud.
I squinted my eyes shut, that's what always ended my nightmares for me. I opened them, I was still in the wardrobe, but the footsteps stopped. There was silence for a while, but then I heard a voice.
"I'm coming Miku Hatsune! I congratulate you, you're the last one!" I heard Tei say.
My blood turned to ice. Then, I heard the banging on the attic door. Rin must've closed it when she left. I sighed with relief, hoping that Tei wouldn't be able to get through. I waited.
The banging stopped. She must've given up. I waited there for what seemed like forever. I checked my watch. I had been sitting here for 2 hours, and still no banging.
I was about to get out.
But I think I just heard the attic door open.
A/N: CLIFFHANGER! I AM SO EVIL TO YOU GUYS! HA-HA! Anyway…sorry that it was so short, it was really late and my eyes started to sting and my fingers started to get numb and my writers brain was shutting down and I didn't want a fucked up ending again, so, yeah.
