Chapter Two: Cookies for the Contest
Zelda and Red had entered the kitchen and prepared to bake cookies. They carefully made a dozen batches from scratch and laid them on cookie sheets. The oven was preheated and ready.
Vaati had sneaked into the kitchen while Red and Zelda weren't looking and messed with the cookie mix. Before the two turned, he silently slipped out of the kitchen.
"Alright Red, hand me two trays of cookies to pop into the oven!" Zelda said.
Red handed Zelda some of the cookies and she put them into the oven. They waited, and after fifteen minutes, they put the other tray in. After both were done, Zelda called the other Links into the kitchen.
Blue grabbed a handful of cookies and stuffed them in his mouth.
"Blue! The time hasn't started yet! Why have you eaten the cookies?!" Red asked.
"Bleck! These things taste awful! I didn't think even you were that terrible at it!" Blue shouted, not even caring that Red had asked him a question.
"Awful? What do you mean by that, Blue? Red made them exactly as the recipe said, and I helped!" Zelda said.
Suddenly, Blue turned green and started vomiting.
"This is so gross!" Shadow looked as green as blue and he hadn't eaten anything!
"You poisoned those cookies!" Blue yelled angrily.
"I would never do anything like that!" Red cried.
Vaati watched from behind the corner, trying to contain his laughter.
"I guess we can't have our cookie eating contest!" Vio said.
"Vio! Forget the cookies! We need to help Blue!" Zelda scolded.
"And how do you think that's going to happen?" Vio asked.
"Take him to the doctor!" Zelda yelled.
Blue puked again. Shadow laughed, but he ran over to the trash can and puked. He didn't have a strong stomach for gross things.
Blue snickered and Shadow shot him a glare.
"By the way...where's Vaati?!" Link asked.
"Oh, I have no idea..." Zelda said.
"Help me already, you idiots!" Blue yelled.
"Stop being a drama queen!" Link chuckled.
Vio sighed. "Looks like someone messed up our plans."
Blue, at the time, was not caring. He needed medical attention.
Link, Vio, and Zelda carefully picked Blue up off the floor and carried him away.
"Yeah, don't mind me, I'll just stay here and puke my guts out!" Shadow muttered, hunched over the trash can. So much for a cookie eating contest!
