A/N: Hey, I hope you guys enjoyed the last chapter. Have fun!
Hope woke up in an unfamiliar, lumpy bed. She had the worst hangover headache that anyone could ever have.
I am never drinking, again. She lied to herself.
When she began to gain some semblance of consciousnesses, she noticed that this was not her bed nor her apartment. As she thought about, she realized that she had not remembered last night beyond getting really drunk.
Where am I?
Just as she thought that that beautiful redheaded bartender from last night came into the bedroom.
"Oh, uh, hi. Um, I'm not complaining or anything, but-"
"You're wondering why you're here?"
Hope nodded.
"You fainted and I didn't know your address, so I brought you to my place," Audrey said frankly.
"Oh, thanks," Hope blushed.
"But, last night, you did save me from getting harassed. So, I think I kind of owe you a coffee, so-"
Hope quickly stood up from the bed in excitement. "Right now's good,"
"I was gonna ask you, if you have anywhere to be," Audrey laughed.
Hope put her hands on her hips and did her best attempt at a husky voice, "I'm my own boss, I can come and go as I please,"
Audrey and Hope had entered the "Lost and Found" Cafe since it was the closest to Audrey's apartment, which Hope was thankful for since they just met and Hope didn't want Granny planning their wedding when she didn't even know her last name.
Audrey choose a cozy padded booth to sit in as Hope followed like she was the new kid in this big, univiting school. Hope nervously clutched at the menu, pretending not to know what's at a cafe.
A woman came in to break the silence. "Hi, Audrey, who's the new girl?"
Audrey turned another shade of red, and Hope grinned so wide that her dimples turned in on themselves.
"Hope," She spoke up.
"Well, Hope, what can I start you off with?"
"Hot chocolate with cinnamon on top,"
"Coffee," Audrey muttered.
Then, the woman left to go do her task of waitressing.
"Relative?"
"Mother,"
"Oh, I don't always meet the parents on the first date,"
"This is our first date?"
"I-it's not a date?"
"I thought last night was our first date," Audrey quipped
"Oh, yeah, right,"
Audrey's mom eventually brought them their orders and they obidentally drank them, as they contuined to talk.
