"Sparkling Sea Waves! Cure Pearl Makes a Splash!"

"Audrey, please get him off the table." Echo Valentine's words were simply lost amidst the voices of her younger siblings.

The sun had just found it's place in the early morning sky, beating down on the Island with little mercy at all. The small, washed out green house at the end of Cooper street was as lively as it always was. Which to any one un-familiar with the Valentine family, the home might have seemed a bit, chaotic. Of course with five children cramped into one small home one can only expect for things to appear disorderly. But in reality, the Valentine family was like a well oiled machine, a machine that might appear fragile at times, but well maintained never the less. And that was all thanks to Echo Valentine, the oldest of the bunch and the one who kept her family in line.

"Audrey I don't want to have to tell you again." Echo said to her younger sister, who had placed her younger brother on top of the dinning room table.

Audrey looked up at her sister, eyes scolding red with annoyance. "I don't wanna!" She pouted.

Echo sighed, hands firmly on her hips and eyes giving a good stern look at Audrey. "Do I have to tell mom?"

Audrey huffed dramatically and despite her earlier resistance, Audrey snatched her younger brother up into her arms and dragged him off the dinning table. "You're no fun!" She stuck out her tongue then, wobbling from her brothers weight, marched off into the living room.

Echo rolled her eyes at her sister, turning to her other younger sibling who sat patiently at the table. "I bet you're hungry Leon, how bout some oatmeal to start the day?" Echo shuffled to the stove top, took a small pot and hovered it over a bowl and began to pour a gracious amount of oatmeal into the bowl. "I'll give you plenty since I know you love it." She said with a hum. After pouring the meal, she took the bowl and slide it to her young brother. "Eat up!"

However, Leon eyed the bowl for all of two seconds and with a heavy pout pushed the meal away. "No! Not like!"

Echo pursed her lip, kneeling down to her brothers eye level. "What? Why not, you always eat your oatmeal."

Leon shook his head, arms crossed to his chest. "No! No good! Only bugs!"

Echo sighed, standing up and then scooping her brother into her arms. "Bugs, really? Are you really going through a bug eating phase?"

"Sure is." Nora,Echo's younger sister, said as she strolled along to the table. Nora sat herself down, looked the table over and said. "Where's my food?"

Echo turned from her, Leon still in her arms, and pointed to the stove. "On the stove, go get it."

Nora grumbled as she pushed herself away from the table and eyed the small pot on the stove. She sneered. "Gross, if it's oatmeal I don't want it."

"Jeez, what is it with you guys and not eating oatmeal today?" Echo said. "Is this some kinda of ploy to get me to cook something else?"

Nora scoffed. "Please trust me when I say we don't want your cooking."

Echo jabbed her sister with a nasty glare, fixing her hold on her younger brother. "I'm not that bad."

Nora waved away Echo's comment, walking over and taking Leon from her arms. "Whatever. Look gotta get to school early so you're on your own with the morning drop off." She put Leon down, letting him run along with his other siblings.

"Seriously?" Echo said. "But it's so much work getting them to walk all the way to daycare."

Nora strolled from the kitchen to the living room, took her book bag up and slipped her shoes on and left for the door. "Too bad!" She shouted from the front door, back turned to Echo. "Lock the door when you leave, will ya? You left it unlocked last time." Her voice carried into the kitchen followed by the slam of the door, leaving Echo alone to care for her younger siblings.

"Great." Echo said.

Echo looked the kitchen over, grimacing at the half eaten breakfast bowls and oatmeal covered table. She made a mental note to clear the table when she got home, scurrying off to dress for school. As Echo rushed off to her room, making sure to take a quick peek at the little devils in the living room, she noticed the time and felt her heart leap from her chest! Late, again!

Echo changed into her uniform as quickly as she could. She tried her best to dress her siblings. but then noticing the time decided that maybe Leon and Micah going to daycare in their pj's would not be the end of the world. Luckily for Echo, Audrey was the kind of person who loved to look good, so when she appeared from her room sporting a simple red dress and flats, Echo felt like she could breath a little.

"Alright, guys get your shoes on and line up for me!" Echo said, tying her school shoes in a hurry.

"Leon, Micah let's go!" Audrey ordered her brothers as she stood by the door, foot tapping with little patience. "Echo, their taking forever! Make them hurry up!"

Echo frowned at her sister, standing up and rushing over to her brothers. "Trust me Audrey if I could I would." She said.

Echo pushed her brothers along, sliding each boy his respective school bag and once grabbing her own, hurried the younger siblings out the door.

"Make sure to lock it!" Audrey so kindly reminded her sister.

Echo rolled her eyes for the second time that morning. "Yea I know."

After locking the door and after assuring Audrey she had locked the door, Echo took her brothers hands into her own and hurriedly walked them to daycare; all the while Audrey marching ahead as though she was the one in command. After successfully dropping her brothers off at daycare then spending fifteen more minutes walking Audrey to school, ten of which was spent convincing Audrey that she could not go back home and change, Echo had finally managed to make it to her own school on time.

Sliding into her home room and slipping into her desk just as the last bell went off, Echo slumped over her desk and sighed.

"Why are all my morning's like this?" She muttered aloud.

As the rest of the tardy students slowly trickled in, classes for that morning just beginning, Echo sat at her desk with lidded eyes. Exhaustion was setting in fairly early for her today and had the morning class continued on as slow as it had begun, Echo might have slept through her morning lessons. However, much like Echo's hectic family mornings, it seemed as though the Island was in for an equally hectic day.

It started with a bang, like a crash against the wall except stronger. This not only shook the class room up, but it had shaken the sleep right out of Echo. Echo, along with her classmates, sat still at their desk even the teacher had frozen at the sound. A few seconds of silence passed and just when everyone was ready to move on and forget it, another sound came.

"What is that?" The class erupted with murmurs, the students now riled up by the suspicious sounds. "Sounded like a crash or an explosion!" They chattered.

Echo eyed her classmates, listening in on their guesses and suspicion, coming to her own conclusion. "It's too loud to be a car crash..." Echo whispered to herself. She looked to the window. "It could be an explosion though."

"Settle down, students." The teacher said, trying her best to be heard through the students chatter. "Please, calm down I'm sure it's nothing. Please we must get back to the lesson." She said.

The class settled back down, a few whispers floating about as the teacher regained control. Echo bit her lip as if something weighed heavy on her mind, trying to focus on the teacher like the others. But after seizing her students attention the teacher turned to the board and picked up a piece of chalk. The teacher cleared her throat glancing to her lesson book as she found her train of thought. She raised her arm to write on the board and continue on with the lesson , but at the moment a thunderous roar escaped and it riled the class room once more.

"Omg! Did you guys hear that!" One student said with a gasp, followed by a slew of chatter and shouts.

"Students, please!" The teacher pleaded.

Echo looked to the window once more, sure that the noise was coming from that direction of the Island. "What on earth is that?" Echo rose from her seat, eyes fixed on the view from her classroom. "That wasn't seriously a...a roar was it?"

"It sounded like a dinosaur roar right!" Said a student.

"Yea, just like in the monster movies!" Said another.

"Students calm down, it's probably nothing." The teacher said.

Echo glanced to her teacher, repeating her words underneath breath. "Probably nothing..."

"No way, somethings up!" Yet another student said, their words lingering in Echo's ears.

"It is really weird." Echo said, keeping her eyes to the window. She walked to the window, staring out as though expecting something to just appear. But the streets where empty, save for a few cars here and there that drove by. "But...what could it be?"

Than the ground began to shake, hard. The desks wobbled and the room rocked as the floors felt as though they would break apart. The class room lost it; students shouting and running around in a panic, gripping each other in fear as their teacher desperately tried to restrain her students.

"An earthquake?!" Echo said, puzzled. She managed to keep her footing as the ground continued to tremble, still standing by the window despite the dangers.

"Students please remain calm, do not move!" The teacher said. "And Echo, get away from the window!"

"R-right..." Echo stammered, strangely enough she felt as though she almost could not leave her spot or rather she should not. "An earthquake just doesn't seem right." She whispered, still ignoring her teacher's order. "It has to be-

"A monster!"

Echo stilled at the student's cry. She kept herself close to the window, confused by her classmates sudden shout. But she quickly understood. Right outside her school, as though taken right out of a movie, a giant, beady eye monster walked her Island home. By the very sight of the monster alone the class only fell into further panic! A massive creature, bigger then the school itself was wrecking chaos.

"Echo, get back now!"

Echo's teacher begged, but Echo was caught up in it all. Her body would not move, she was frozen by the sight of the monster or maybe by fear, maybe even both. Echo had no words, no comment to say not even so much as a shocked gasp. Echo watched the monster stomp down the streets just outside the school, bearing it's sharp canines and roar blaring like a siren.

"No way..." Echo said. She kept watch on the beast as it marched on to wreck further havoc on the Island, only something about it's direction set alarm bells of in Echo's mind. "Hold on a minute, where is it headed?" She asked herself, this time a growing panic keeping her eyes trained on the beast.

"Echo!" Her teacher continued to call to her, desperate for Echo to join the safety of her classmates, who were huddled together on the opposite end.

But once again Echo ignored her. She kept her gaze to the beast who was beginning to disappear from her field of vision. "No, no, no." She uttered. "It's going straight down from here, towards downtown...no, the daycare!"

Echo realized the monster's trail would directly lead to her siblings daycare. Panic set in as she kept watching as he cleared a path by simply crushing anything caught in his way. Watching the monster flatten cars left in the street shook her up, what if he reached the day care? The monster would certainly cause damage after all he simple walked by her school and the place was shaken up whole!

"No, I have to get there before he does!" Echo said with a panic.

She ran to the door, ignoring her teacher's plea to stay put. Echo ran down the school halls, pushing through the doors of the school and nearly tumbling over in her panic. As she ran out into the school yard she caught sight of the monster, who was now inching closer to the other end of the Island. She gasped, a million thoughts racing in her mind as she continued to chase after the monster.

"That thing could crush the daycare with one step!" She thought, eyes wide in fear at the thought.

Echo kept her gaze fixed to the monster, her legs burning as she kept chasing after the beast. She panted with each step, face beat red as she ran through the streets with haste. Echo pushed her self pass the frantic crowds that gathered to marvel at the monster, shuffling around the on lookers while trying to keep her focus on the monster.

The monster was only growing further from her and Echo was sure that the beast was only steps away from the daycare, but she was blocks away. Echo would never be able to catch up in time, she was too far and too small to keep up with the monster.

She slowed her pace, slowly stumbling until she stopped all together. Panting heavily, she watched as the monster grew closer to her brothers daycare. "M-maybe he won't pass that area..." She said, eyes still watching the beast. "Maybe, maybe..." Her breath was shaking now, her lips ajar as she was at a lost for words.

Than there was a light. A golden flash that erupted in the sky and then blasted off in the same direction as the monster. Echo was taken back by the sight, brows creasing as she changed her focus on the light.

"What is that thing?" The voices of the on lookers rose up, a bundle of confused chatter spilling out into the air.

Echo glanced to the group of on lookers who accompanied her, Echo just as puzzled as they were. That golden light that had appeared looked as though it was following the monster or guiding it. The monster changed it's direction much to Echo's relief, but something about that still bothered Echo.

Echo followed the light with her eyes watching it until it and the beast faded from her sight. However, her and the crowd that had gathered could still hear it's cries. She kept her eyes on the direction of the monster and the light had gone, something in her mind nagging at her too follow. But just as Echo was about to she was pulled back by a sudden grip.

"Where on earth do you think you're going?!"

Echo snapped her head back, eyes falling on the very upset scowl of her teacher. "Oh, Ms..." She began trailing off into silence, she knew she was in big trouble.

Her teacher tsked, wagging a finger in Echo's face. "Young lady just wait until your mother hears of this."

Echo dropped her head with a frown and like a dog with it's tail between it's leg, she turned around and followed her teacher back to school.

"I wonder what happened to it?" Echo thought. Echo sat at the dinning table in her home, starring off as she was lost in her own thoughts.

After receiving a very tedious lecture from her teacher, Echo was dismissed. After the monster's rampage on the Island, all schools had been dismissed. The students were over joyed to have a day off of school, however, Echo was left feeling a bit worried to say the least.

"Echo, dear are you alright?"

Her mother asked, snapping her from her trance. "Oh, um yea sorry mom."

"Echo you don't seem alright, but you got the day off of school so shouldn't you be happy?" Her mother asked, giving Echo a suspicious look over before taking a long sip of her coffee.

Audrey, who was at the dinner table as well, scoffed. "Echo's mad because she got in trouble at school!" She teased.

"Audrey, that's not very nice!" Their mother hissed, hushing Audrey with her scold alone. "Why don't you take your brothers and play in the living room."

Audrey jumped from her chair with a huff, chin high as she marched away. "Come on boys!" She called her young brothers, who quickly followed behind her.

Echo leaned into her chair, tracing a finger around a coffee ring on the table. "Sorry that the school had to call you, you aren't mad are you?"

Her mother shook her head. "No, not really. I don't like the idea that my daughter would defy her teacher and go running off into danger, but I know you were simply worried about your brothers."

"Mom, I was terrified for them!" Echo said with a shout, slamming her hands down on the table. "You had to have seen it from your daycare! The thing was huge!"

Echo's mother rose from her chair, lips pursued in thought. She sighed. "I didn't see it, but it has been the talk of the Island." She turned from Echo and walked to the sink, scrubbing at the morning's dishes. "Listen I don't want you chasing after any more monsters, ya hear?"

Echo nodded, joining her mother. "Sorry about the plates. No one would eat this morning and I was running late, but I swear I was going to wash them."

Her mother laughed, tapping Echo's nose and leaving a bundle of soap bubbles on her face. "Echo, relax. I can wash a couple of dishes, 'kay."

"But I know it's tiring at the daycare, really I can do it." Echo insisted. She nudged her mother away from the sink and took over. "See I can do it."

"Uh, Echo. Really it's fine, but." Her mother said, trailing off as she scanned the kitchen in thought. "If you really want to help, how about you keep Audrey and the boys in check. I'm sure they've already caused a ruckus in the living room."

"Oh, better idea." Echo said, turning from the sink. "I'll take them to the beach. They've been pretty...decent lately."

"You sure about that?" Her mother asked, brow quirked.

Echo nodded, assuring her mother that the idea was sound. "Yup, they can run around and waste some energy." Echo smiled to her mother than walked to the living room, calling to her siblings. "Alright you little monsters, we're going to the beach!"

"The beach!" Audrey squealed at the news, taking her younger brothers hand into hers and running over to the front door. "Leon, Micah, stay close!"

"Hold on, Audrey!" Echo chased after her, pulling her back before she could make a run for it. Echo sighed, taking the keys that hung on the key holder by the door and snatching her sister's hand. "Mom, we'll be back in an hour."

Beaches are relaxing, enjoyable, and overall their beautiful, which is why Echo thought it was the perfect place to come to. However, she did not think what it would be like with three nearly un-controllable kids. The moment they so much as stepped on the beach, Audrey, Leon and Micah took off and after spending the first twenty minutes trying to restrain them Echo figured that as long as they were within eye sight than there was no use in trying to keep them still in one spot.

"Audrey, please don't throw sand at Leon!" Echo shouted to her sister, but she was simply ignored. Echo sighed, dropping her head into her hands as she sat down on the warm sand. "Can't you guys do something a little less...dirty?"

Leon looked to his sister, narrow eyes glaring. "No!" He said.

Echo chuckled, leaning back on her arms. "Fine, whatever." So, Echo finally gave in and just sat. She kept an eye on her siblings, but there was no nagging or chasing after, she simply watched from her comfy seat and that was all. And to be honest, Echo loved it. What with the mornings excitement, sitting down at the beach was exactly what she needed.

It was perfect, until the rain broke. One moment it was sunny and beautiful, then the next moment a herd of gray, puffy, clouds flew over the beach and with a thunderous pop they unleashed a heavy down pour. Echo ran off and collected her siblings, pulling them along despite their protest.

"It's only rain! Why can't we stay!" Audrey said with a shout, dragging her heels in the sand.

"Because this is more than just rain!" Echo said, voice firm as she kept dragging her siblings behind her. "Audrey pick up your feet, Micah stop pouting and Leon don't take your hand away from Audrey's!"

The rain was only getting worst by the minute, rain drops pelting them one after the other and powerful winds pushing against them. Echo had her hands tied with her siblings and trying to get them home, but with the rain that task was becoming increasingly hard. Her siblings fought her every step of the way, insisting that the rain should not have to mean going home and Echo was losing her patience and just as she thought that her head was going to explode, she heard a voice. More than one, a jumble of voices actually.

"Who on earth would be on the beach at this time?" Echo looked back, noticing two young girls who appeared to be arguing.

"Are you sure this isn't just a normal rain storm?!" One shouted at the other.

"Um, yea I'm pretty sure!" The other snapped.

Echo quirked her head to the side, brow raised in question. "What are they doing?"

"See they're on the beach, so we'll be on the beach too! Come on boys!" Audrey rustled free form her grasp, snatching her brothers hands and running off with them.

Echo grit her teeth, grabbing at them with no luck. "Audrey, stop!" She ran after them, pushed back by the strong winds. "It's dangerous, Audrey, Leon, Micah come back! Now!" But her siblings were stubborn and kept running about. Echo fell back, pushed by the heavy rain. "Guh! How can they even handle this weather!" She grumbled.

One of the girls that Echo had saw, caught notice of her siblings, an alarming look in her eyes. "Hey, you kids get outta of here!" She warned.

Audrey and the boys stopped, scared by the strange girl. Echo picked herself up and ran to her siblings kneeling down to meet Audrey's eyes. "See, it isn't safe!"

Audrey frowned. "But..."

"They're right, ya know." Another voice came. one that seemed spiteful in nature.

"See, I told you it wasn't normal Aiko!"

Echo perked an ear at the name, shooting a glance at the girls and squinting to see them better. "Aiko?...Aiko!" She said with a shout.

Aiko turned to Echo, eyes wide. "E-Echo?"

Echo was confused, why was her underclassmen here during such a terrible rain storm and with someone Echo had never seen Aiko with. Echo stood up, eyeing Aiko. "Aiko what are you doing?"

Aiko chuckled. "W-well you see-"

"No time for explanations Aiko we have a situation!" Beat, the other girl unknown to Echo, shouted at Aiko. "In case you've forgotten, there's an evil child here!"

"Child! Why...I'll show you to call me names!" The mysterious voice spoke again, it came from above. Echo snapped her gaze towards the sky, eyes fixing on yet another young girl.

"I'm no kid, I'm Coral of Terra and you'll respect me!" Coral or so the girl was called, snapped her fingers and instantly a twirling orb of water floated above her palm. She grinned, peering down at Echo. "I'll show you!" Coral threw the orb in Echo's direction.

Echo panicked, snatching her siblings and shielding them with her body. The orb crashed right beside them, exploding with tremendous force that rocked the Valentine children from their footing. Echo lifted her head, peering at Coral who simply smirked her way. She looked to Audrey, who was visibly shaken.

"Audrey, take the boys and run home. Now!" She ordered and without a word her sister listened, taking her brothers and running as fast as she could. Echo stood up with a scolding frown and eyes that burned with anger.

"Aiko, transform!" Beat commanded.

"R-Right!" Aiko dug through her skirt pocket, pulling out her blue compact. "Color Compact- Rainbow Form!"

Like before Aiko was consumed by a burst of bright blue light. The light was nearly blinding to those around her, including Echo. Echo watched in awe as Aiko emerged from the heavenly light, sporting some type of uniform she had never seen. Aiko had changed into someone different, even her eyes and hair were blue. She was a different Aiko from the one Echo knew.

"The light that shines in the dimmest of darkness, Cure Vivid!" She announced.

"Cure...Vivid?" Echo repeated with a questioning tone.

Beat took Vivid's hand and gave it a quick squeeze. "Just like before."

"Ok!" Vivid gave a quick thumbs up, than she dashed off.

Coral chortled at the cure, summoning another water orb and shooting it off at Vivid. The orb crashed in the sand right beside Vivid going off and knocking her right off her feet. Beat grit her teeth, running to Vivid's side. She helped Vivid up, staring down Coral with the best glare she could muster.

"Come on Vivid, you can beat this kid." She said, smirking at Coral.

Coral bawled her fist by her side, face turning a deep red. "Kid?! I'm not a kid?!" Coral was seething from that comment alone, just who was this girl calling a kid?!

"Really, you sure look like a kid!" Beat kept at it, pushing her further and further over the boiling point.

But it really did not take much to push Coral's buttons. Coral sunk her teeth into her lip, raising her arms and summoning more of her water orbs. " Just who are you suppose to be anyway!" She shot out orb after orb, aiming for both Vivid and Beat forcing the two to run around and dodge her attacks.

"Beat, look what you did!" Vivid said, shuffling about like a field mouse about to be eaten up by a hawk.

"It's not my fault! She's too immature to handle my comments!" Beat said.

"What?!" Coral snapped, voice cracking. Coral was beat red now and anyone who saw her could swear that she looked about ready to pop! "Immature uh! Well how's this for immature!" Coral shot an arm out to her side, fingers moving as though pulling on invisible strings. The ocean tide began to dance with the same movements as her fingers, rising up into the air until a large stream of it towered both Vivid and Beat.

Vivid and Beat froze in place, glancing at each other with baited breath. Vivid shook her head. "Look what you did!"

Beat gulped. "D-don't worry, you're a pretty cure."

"Yea, but I don't even know how to use my powers right!" Vivid shouted out.

Coral laughed at the two girls. "This will be fun!"

Echo, who had been taken back by the whole encounter, watched on in horror. "Maybe I should help, after all that is Aiko...right?" Echo mulled the idea over. She sighed, knowing that she could not just watch on. She ran to Vivid and Beats side, standing in front of them both with her arms stretched out. "Stop that right now!" She demanded.

"Ugh?" Coral said with a sneer of her lips. "What, didn't you run off with the kittys?"

Echo shook her head. "Nope and I'm not running off any time soon!"

Coral sighed out, rolling her eyes as dramatically as she could. "Come on, you're not even a pretty cure why are you doing this?"

"B-Because!" Echo stammered. "I know Aiko and I won't leave her!"

"Echo..." Vivid smiled.

Coral clicked her tongue. "Fine, but if you won't get out of my way than I'll just have to make sure you never see those little kitty's again!"

Echo furrowed her brows. "What?"

"That's right! They haven't gotten very far and I can see them from up here, so I'll knock them right out!" Coral was merciless. She still had command over the massive tide stream and with just a simple wave of her arm, the tide whirled forward hurdling towards Echo's siblings.

"No!" Echo cried out. She had no time to think, barely any time to act, the only thing she could think of was her siblings safety. Without a single thought she threw herself in the tides way.

"Echo, no!" Vivid shouted after her.

Coral cackled. "Idiot, my wave is massive, even if you throw yourself in it's way you'll only be swept up along with them!"

But it was all she could do, this was the only thing Echo was left with. The tide rushed out, only gaining speed and Echo was sure she was going to be swept as she shut her eyes and waited for the terrible attack to get her, there was a light. A powerful, strong, green light just burst out over powering everything in sight, including Coral's attack.

"W-what's going on here!" Coral snapped.

Beat smiled at the sight. "It's the second pretty cure."

"No way." Said Vivid, in awe by the light.

When Echo opened her eyes, she was floating in a stream of green light. She was alone, separate from Vivid and the others, all that was there with her was a small compact. Echo took the compact, staring at it's reflective surface in a blank confusion. She traced a finger over the compact, then it clicked.

"Color Compact-Rainbow Form!" Echo called out the words as though she had done this before.

But she was guided by her hearts impulse. The compact erupted with a dark green glow than shot out from her hands. Echo twirled around once, than threw her arms out to either side of her; the compact falling into her left palm. The compact opened on it's own, a bundle of small green orbs floated around the compact than the orbs swirled around her left arm, spreading out until they swirled around her body.

The orbs stretched and morphed around Echo. Echo brought her arms to her chest and she bundled herself as the orbs vibrated then popped! Echo gracefully stretched herself out to reveal the deep green vest and light pastel skirt that known dressed her. She floated down onto a light mint color disc and the moment her feet touched it's surface, green light danced around her legs until pastel green boots appeared. She smiled, bringing a hand to her head and tapping her finger to her hair once. Green light popped from around her head, her hair braided and wrapped around her head into a neat bun held in place with a bow. The mint disc beneath her gave out and she fell through as though she was diving into the ocean, twirling through the light until she gracefully regained her footing.

She spun around once more than placed a hand to her heart as one arm reached out to the side of her, one foot in front of the other. "The shining jewel of the sea! Cure Pearl!"

"Cure Pearl!" Coral spat, eyes wide.

"Cure Pearl!" Vivid and Beat said in unison, hugging each other as they looked on at Pearl in awe.

Cure Pearl was beaming with a light green glow, her fierce stare sending chills down Coral's back. Pearl's heavy frown gave way to her state of mind, her eyes focused in on Coral. "You should know that tantrums are un-excusable!"

Coral drew in a breath, mouth a gasp as her brows furrowed. "Tantrums! I-I did not have a tantrum!"

Pearl lunged forward, winding one arm back as she jumped up at Coral. "I think your due for a time out!" Her open palm glimmered with light, than as if gathering from the air itself, an orb of water whirled above her palm.

"Time out?!" Coral snapped, teeth clenched in anger.

Pearl shot her arm forward, shooting the water orb out at Coral. The orb doubled in size as it raced towards Coral; Coral left wide eye in shock. The orb crashed against Coral throwing her back from the sheer force of impact. Coral tumbled back against the sand, growling as she peered at Pearl.

Pearl narrowed her eyes at Coral as she felt nothing but anger bubbling over. "Never, hurt my siblings!" Pearl raised her arms, bringing her hands to the side of her face. She clapped twice, than moved her arms to either side of her. "Pretty Cure, Morning Tide Collision!"

Pearl shot both her arms out in a quick motion and from the center of her palms water shot forth with the strength of canons. The bubbling blast hurdled their way through the air with Coral as their target. Coral hissed, sneering at the sight.

"This is not over!" She shouted over the roaring water than she vanished in a cloud of mist!

The blast crashed into the sand, exploding out and than fading into soft green mist. Cure Pearl floated down, a blank stare crossed her face. Vivid and Beat ran to her, embracing her with giggles.

"You were awesome!" Vivid praised.

Pearl giggled, glancing down at Vivid. "T-thanks." She cleared her throat. "So...what just happened?"

The soft chirps of the Island's birds paired with the glowing orange sunset, gave the Island a very comforting feeling. Echo learned that Audrey safely took her brothers home and had so kindly filled their mother in on what happened. So, after spending an hour calming her mother down and tucking her young siblings into bed, Echo sat outside on her porch accompanied by Aiko and Beat.

"Is everything ok?" Aiko asked.

Echo nodded. "Yup. I managed to convince my mom that Audrey was just blowing things out of proportion and that we were just caught in the rain."

"Did she ask why you sent them home alone?" Aiko asked.

"Yea, that one was...harder to explain." Echo laughed lightly, dusting some dirt off of her shoe. "I just said I wanted to stay behind and look for something...got a good lecture about why I can't let a nine year old walk home alone in a rain storm with two four year olds."

Aiko frowned, shoulders dropping as she sunk back. "Sorry."

"No, it's not your fault. " Echo assured her. "But never mind that you still haven't told me what all the stuff was about? I mean I totally took out a twelve year old water bending kid?!"

"I can explain that." Beat chimed. Beat jumped up to her feet, dusting her hands and marching over to Echo. She took Echo's hands into her own and beamed a bright smile. "You're a pretty cure!"

Echo blinked, lips stretched in an emotionless frown. "A..petty cure?"

"Pretty Cure!" Beat said, enunciating every letter. She dropped Echo's hands as she began to explain their situations. "You're a legendary warrior who fights evil and that's why you transformed. You've been chosen to help save my world which was taken over by an evil group named Terra...listen Aiko can fill you in on the details later." She smiled to Echo once more. "Just be happy, because you're a pretty cure now!"

Echo chuckled, eyeing Beat blankly. She laughed once more, the corners of her lips tugging upwards. "I'm going to fight evil?" She chuckled. "...I-I must be dreaming!"
