Chapter 2: Introductions and Year One

Disclaimer: If I did own Percy Jackson, I'm pretty sure I would not be posting this online.

A/N: I'm so sorry I haven't posted in forever. Please don't kill me! 'hides from angry mob attacking with pitchforks'. Anyway, I forgot to mention Percy was a little older when she came to Camp Half-Blood. Anyway, thanks to all those who followed, reviewed, and favorited. I hope you enjoy the next chapter. Question: Should this be a 'Reading the Last Olympian' story?

"Alright. Luke Castellan, 37, Son of Hermes, Hero of Olympus. The little ones," he pointed towards the twins,"are mine and Sephie's. Daniel and Grace, 6, legacies of Hermes, Jupiter, and Poseidon. And this one," he indicated to the baby,"is Aria, 2 months, titles are the same."

Poseidon and Hermes marveled at their grandchildren, not many gods actually had children who survived past their twenties. Hermes realized that two of them had his eyes, Luke's eyes, while the other one had her mother's eyes.

"I'll go next. I'm Thalia di Angelo, 33, daughter of Zeus."

Poseidon made an "exactly my point" gesture with his hands which was ignored by Zeus. He was preferring to study his daughter who was obviously not his seven year old little girl anymore. The gothic man with the child spoke next.

"Nico di Angelo, 32, Son of Hades, Hero of Olympus, and Zeus, before you blow a gasket, (A/N: I've always wanted to use that) I was born in the 1940's and locked away in the Lotus Hotel. Anyway, she is," he looked down at the little girl, "Ivy, mine and Thals' daughter, legacy of Hades and Zeus."

Hades and Zeus looked down upon their grandchild. She seemed to look more like Thalia but had some of Nico's facial features. Her cheekbones and chin were very distinguishable attributes for children, or legacies, of Hades while her lips, button nose, and freckles were those of Thalia's.

"Hello," started the white-blonde haired teen,"I'm Katerina Black, call me Kat, 19, daughter of Kronos, and slayer of a whole boatload of monsters."

"WHAT!" shouted the gods. A daughter of Kronos?! When could that have possibly happened? Kronos was currently locked away in the deepest pits of Tartarus, or a this point in time he was.

"Don't worry, she's... harmless. Kat's on the gods side now," Nico replied calmly to their outburst.
"Now?" Zeus questioned suspiciously. Usually in this sense "now" was used as if someone had done something before, but possibly made up for it. So, of course he was suspicious. Who wouldn't be?

"Nicole, go." Luke commanded trying to save everyone from an unwanted argument.

"Bu-" Zeus started but got interrupted by Nicole's introduction which resulted in a glare from the King of the Gods.

"I'm Nicole Redman, 18, mortal friend of Kat, and I can see through the Mist."

Hera looked disdainfully down at her. A mortal in Olympus, it was unheard of, impossible. The blonde haired woman, sensing what Hera was thinking, decided to save Nicole and introduce herself.

"Annabeth Solace, 33, Daughter of Athena, Architect of Olympus."

Athena smiled proudly at her daughter. Architect of Olympus was most definitely not a small feat. Hera sneered at her.

"Why would Olympus need an architect, and a demigod one at that?" Annabeth glared at Hera with pure loathing clear in her grey eyes.

"If you'll wait, you will find out," she replied coldly. The queen of the gods narrowed her eyes, obviously not used to being talked to in that tone.

"Now that we are finished with introductions, Lord Apollo said something about telling of the future?" Sephie said as more of a question than a statement. "How should we go about this?"

"Maybe we should start with your first summer at camp," Luke suggested. Persephone looked at him as if he were insane but eventually told of her story. Since, Kat and Nicole hadn't been a part of this story they stayed to the side and decided to simply listen.

She started with her field trip to the museum where she had fought one of the three furies, at which point Poseidon had attempted to strangle his elder brother. Next, Persephone went on to tell about her run-in with the three fates. After assuring her father she was alive and well, she continued on telling about Montauk and her satyr wake-up call; how her, Grover, and her mother drove to Half-Blood Hill, and then met the Minotaur. The god of the sea was very distressed by this news. Sephie continued at the point of her mother being taken hostage by Hades, which she had trouble recounting, and how she had met Annabeth and Luke at the top of Half-Blood Hill.

Luke continued on for her filling in the days that Persephone was not awake for. How she had woken up two days later and met Dionysus and Chiron, and then went to the Hermes cabin. He conveniently forgot to add the part where she had slept in his bed because there were no available floor spaces. The son of Hermes next told the tale of how he lost to his wife in swordplay, which Poseidon was most excited about.

The legacy of Jupiter went on from this point in the story. She started with her summoning to get killed by- excuse me, to see Mr. D. By the time she got to the part in the attic, Zeus was ready to strike an innocent mortal dead with his "precious" lightning bolt.

"The prophecy was:
You shall go west and face the god who has turned,
You shall find what was stolen and see it safely returned.
You shall be betrayed by one who calls you a friend,
And you shall fail to save what matters most, in the end."

The gods all shared a glance. That didn't sound very good.

Sephie continued on from the point of choosing her fellow questers - a satyr friend of hers, Grover, Luke, and Annabeth. The gods had frowned at this; usually demigods went on quests in a trio, not a quartet. The daughter of Poseidon assured them not much bad luck came from this decision.

"Not much?" Hermes questioned. Despite knowing his favorite son had lived, he still worried.

Luke shrugged. "You know how quests are."

At this Hermes' frown deepened.

Annabeth decided to talk about her part in the quest. She started with Chris Rodriguez, a son of Hermes Percy had talked to briefly several times, giving the shoes he had stol- er... gotten as a gift from his father (Annabeth amended her statement when shed glanced over at the god of travel) to them. How they had left camp only to end up on a bus occupied by all three furies. Now, Hermes, Athena, and Poseidon were all glaring at Hades.

"Why are they all looking at me like that. I have not done anything yet," Hades whispered to Hestia.

"I do not think they quite understand that concept, dear brother," the eldest daughter of Kronos and Rhea whispered back, chuckling slightly. Hades smirked.

Annabeth continued the tale. She told the gods about Medusa's lair disguised as a statue-selling store. This got Poseidon hyperventilating and Hermes and Athena were close to it. Gladiola the pink poodle got some raised eyebrows. Next, the daughter of Athena told how they had returned the poodle for money for the train ride.

Percy went on at this point stressing how stupid it was to stop at the Parthenon. Annabeth glared at her. Sephie went into detail telling her battle with Echidna and the Chimera, and the several hundred foot jump to the river below. She quickly continued, as not to worry her father, continuing with the nyiad with a message from Poseidon requesting her presence and giving her the pearls. Next, the daughter of Poseidon explained how they got to Las Vegas and ended up at the Lotus Hotel and Casino. The gods were quite surprised they managed to get out.

Luke continued at the run-in with Procrustes or "Crusty" as he had called himself, and he told how Percy had managed to release Annabeth, Grover, and him from their bonds by defeating Crusty. Poseidon smiled down at his daughter proudly, and she returned the smile. Hermes' son then proceeded with how they got to the Underworld or "DOA Records", skillfully leaving out the Medusa head incident. Luke next informed the gods of how they got past Charon, and that Grover had almost gotten pulled into Tartarus by the shoes Chris had given them. Hermes was shocked his son would do anything such as this. Sure most of his children played pranks, but they were never that serious.

Sephie, at the point, decided she should recount the confrontation with her uncle. Eventually, she got to the part of her actually finding the lightning bolt in her bag, which she had to quickly assure Zeus was all Ares' fault, and then using the pearls to escape but not having enough for her mother. Next, she told of when they got on land and then had an encounter with Ares. The gods, minus the god of war himself who was fuming, were all impressed the daughter of Poseidon had managed to win the fight.

Annabeth finished off the tale with how peaceful camp had been after Percy had taken the bolt back to Olympus, but that alas nothing lasts forever. She told how she had found one of her best friends almost dead from a scorpion left by Chris, poison in her system. Hermes had been shocked to hear this. But, all of the Olympian gods had been even more surprised to hear that Kronos was rising. "What?!" happened to be their exact words.

Now, done with the story and calming down the gods, the demigods were unsure of what to do...

"Mommy, I'm hungry!"

"Daddy, I hafta go to the bathroom!

"I'm bored!"

Never mind.
