A/N - Soooo, I know it has been ages since I updated this story and I know how much you want to curse and scream at me for being such a lazy author, leaving you hanging there but never fear! I'm back! And just to clarify some stuff... Jason and Nico joined Percy's high school after the Giant War and this story takes place two years after that but Percy and Annabeth still get flashbacks of Tartarus. So Nico's in the same year as Percy and Jason. And it makes thing easier for me to write him as a senior. I mean he thinks like an adult. Right, so for the purpose of this fic, Nico is don't know his actual birthday so I'm assuming it's somewhere between October and December. As for Thalia, she'll be a senior as well since she can pass of being a senior. She looks the part. She will be a few months younger than Nico.

Anyway, on to Chapter 2!

Mckenna's POV

I clenched my fists. Nico was mine! Well not technically but still. Who the hell did Thalia think she was?! (A/N- Ahem, Nico's girlfriend? LOL) Wait, isn't Thalia Jason's sister? And Jason is Nico's...cousin. Oh my god! Doesn't it bother Nico that he's dating his cousin? Anyway, no time to think about that. First period is homeroom. I went and sat in my seat and hoped Nico would come and sit next to me like he always does. When he and Thalia entered the classroom, everyone stared at them. It's because he was smiling! Smiling! Nico does not smile. Thalia glared at the onlookers and I shivered.

"Don't you people have things to do?! Yeah, so what Di Angelo's smiling, deal with it!" Mr. Blofis was looking amused at Thalia. "Nice to see you too, Thalia." "Yeah, um, sorry about that," Thalia said sheepishly.

"You can be polite?!" Nico asked in mock incredulity. Thalia glared at him. "Shut up, I can be polite."

"Alright you two, go take a seat." Nico passed my table and took a seat in the very far back. The darkest place in the class in fact. Thalia went with him. He sat on the chair and kicked his feet up on the desk. Thalia sat in his lap and reclined against his chest. A very inappropriate position if you ask me. Nico was straddling her. I don't see how Nico likes her. They're the complete opposite. He's quiet while she's outspoken. Though she's a goth princess with a punk rocker kind of look.

Percy and his girlfriend walked in a few minutes later, Selene trailing behind. She was glaring at Annabeth's head. I rolled my eyes. I couldn't stop staring at Thalia and Nico. They were heavily making out. Mr. Blofis cleared his throat and they both broke apart. I expected them to look ashamed but Nico just looked annoyed. "Oh, come on Paul. I haven't seen her in four months. Cut me some slack." Mr. Blofis rolled his eyes. "Well, I'm sorry but we're in a class. And to spare Percy from watching his cousins make out, I'd suggest you do it away from prying eyes."

Thalia huffed. "Fine." Percy and Annabeth laughed and went to sit by them. I could still hear them.

"Oh shut up, Kelp Head. You think we like seeing you and Annie make out?"

"Don't call me/her Annie," Percy and Annabeth said in perfect unison. Soon all talking stopped and The Fab 5 walked into the classroom.

Kris, the leader walked in and sat down. Her cronies followed soon after. Kris was in a purple spaghetti strap tank, short black skirt, black stockings and six inch heels. Her lips were blood red. Her dark brown hair was falling down her shoulders.

Beca, her second in command wore a pink frilly blouse, a gold chain, blue denim capris and black boots. Pink bangles were on her wrist and her dirty blonde hair was in a ponytail.

Tessanne, another of Kris' cronies, was in black everything. Uh-oh, Thalia's got competition. She had on a black flowy tank, black ripped jeans, black boots, black bangles and silver necklaces. She looked girly not goth and that's what Nico liked.

Roslyn was in a red lace top, black denim shorts and platform heels.

Renee was in a blue tube top, black high waisted shorts and black six inch heels.

When I looked over to Thalia and Annabeth, they were staring disgusted at the Fab 5. Then Thalia put a finger in her mouth and pretended to gag. Nico laughed. Mr. Blofis left the classroom early. Kris glared at Annabeth but she just returned it with an even more terrifying glare. Kris shivered.

"Who the hell are you?" Kris asked.

"I was going to ask you the same thing," Annabeth replied.

"Kris Cielo, future girlfriend of Percy Jackson."

Annabeth laughed humorlessly. "Well, you're gonna have to wait in line. I'm his girlfriend."

"What?! That's not..."

"Possible?" Annabeth cut her off. "Yeah, well just letting you know." Annabeth grabbed Kris' top and stared at her in the face and spoke in a voice that was dangerously low. "If you try to break us up I'll rearrange your face so bad you won't be able to recognize yourself in the mirror. You'll thank me though, it'll be an improvement to you. Oh and stay away from my boyfriend."

Thalia and Nico ohhed in the background. Annabeth let go of her and smiled innocently.

Ariana's POV - Second Period.

Watching Piper and Jason act all lovey dovey with each other is the the worst pain I've ever felt. I pondered on my pain as I made my way to gym. Unfortunately, I was stopped by the Fab 5. Let me give you an insight on them. They run the school, are incredibly beautiful, exceedingly rich but the thing that makes me hate them is that they are snobs/sluts. The leader Kris has a new boyfriend every two weeks and thinks she's all that because her daddy is an important businessman.

Ever since Percy came back from the summer, ripped, she's been pining over him. He's the only guy who's ever turned her down. The Fab 5 are the most popular group in the school second to the Big Three. I hate them.

"Um, can you move? I need to get to class."

"Who's gonna to make me?" Kris sneered.

"I will," said Jason's deep voice.

He was standing in the doorway with Piper on his waist.

"Jason, honey. Why bother with her? She's no one."

"Shut up Kris. Leave her alone."

"Yeah, leave her alone," Piper said in agreement.

"Why don't you go back to your tribe?" Kris snarked.

Jason's eyes widened at the racist jab Kris made to his girlfriend. It still hurt to think of Piper as Jason's girlfriend.

"What'd you say to me?" Piper asked deathly calm.

"Yeah, what're you gonna do about it?" Roslyn sneered.

"Do you know who I am? As powerful you think your daddy is, my daddy's richer."

"Yeah, Kris. Did I ever tell you my girlfriend is the Piper McLean?"

Kris stared at him dumbly. "What? Your dad's Tristan McLean?"

"Yep. Now as I was saying, leave her alone."

Beca rolled her eyes. "Kris, you're not going to listen to her right?"

Piper stared at Jason, asking him a question with her eyes. He nodded.

"Kris, move and let her pass."

My eyes glazed over. I stared at Kris. Without thinking, she moved out of my way. Piper smirked. I walked into the gym thinking one thing, how the hell did she do that?!

Selene's POV

Turns out I had gym with Percy but so did the Fab 5 and the major threat, his model-like girlfriend. She was in a simple black shorts and grey tank top. She even made that look sexy. I was jealous.

Jason and Piper were in this class too. Nico and Thalia weren't here though. Mckenna, Macey, Ariana, Daemon and Mark were in this gym class.

I was trying and failing to get Percy's attention. His eyes were locked on Annabeth. "I still can't believe you're here," Percy said to her. They were in a corner talking quietly between each other. I over heard them.

"Why, you don't want me here?" I resisted the urge to scream NO!

"No, no, no, it's not that. I just really missed you, that's all."

"I missed you too. I came because I couldn't stand being away from you." "Nightmares again?" Percy asked. "I don't want to talk about it. I'll tell you everything later." "Okay. I trust you."

Coach Hedge walked in with a blonde behind him. "Coach?!" Annabeth and Piper cried. They ran and attacked him with very tight hugs. They knew him?

"Cupcakes!" Percy and Jason were laughing. "Alright girls, let him breathe," Percy's smooth voice said. The girls let go of him. "So today, we have a guest instructor. Mr. Malcolm Miller will be teaching us sword-fighting."

Annabeth pounced on the blonde man and gave him a bone-crushing hug."Gods, I missed you so much!" Really now? Maybe I could use this to my advantage. But that seemed pointless as Percy bro-fisted the man.

"Hey Mal." "Jackson. You better be taking good care of my sister."

"You know it, Mal."

"Good. You better. Or else," Annabeth's supposed brother let the threat hang in the air. If she was his sister, why did she say that she missed him? Wouldn't they have seen each other all the time? This is just too weird.

"Anyway, thank you coach for that introduction. I'm here to teach sword-fighting. In the box will be the wooden swords. You each grab one." As I was leaving to get a wooden sword, I swore I heard Malcolm tell Percy, "You can use Riptide. The mist will cover it." Maybe I was being a little too nosy. I mean it's none of my business, but I need to find something. Anything incriminating on any of those girls. Ariana, Mckenna and I worked so hard to get the Big Three to like us then all of a sudden their girlfriends show up. I mean, I was pissed. Like really pissed.

"So, who here can sword-fight?" Jason's, Percy's, Annabeth's and Piper's hands shot up into the air. Really? I doubt Piper and Annabeth could even hold the sword right. Malcolm winked at Annabeth.

"Really? Well, Percy, you and Annabeth. You're up."

Jason grinned and so did Percy and Annabeth.

"This should be good," Jason said.

"Ready to lose Seaweed Brain?" Seaweed Brain?

"You wish, Wise Girl."

"Let's see about that."

"I think Annie's gonna win," Piper said.

"Nah, Percy has more experience," Jason commented.

"Annabeth's been training since she was seven," Piper argued. What? Training for what?

Percy and Annabeth circled each other. They stared at each other for a few minutes then they lunged. Percy jammed his sword into Annabeth's but she blocked it effortlessly and flipped over his shoulder. Wow, it's not enough that she's pretty. Nooooo, she has to be athletic as well. Their two swords clashed and they continued to fight so ferociously that I thought that they had some animosity for each other.

Malcolm noticed our worried looks and smiled. "Don't worry, they're like this all the time." What?

Annabeth disarmed Percy and flipped him over her shoulder. Percy grabbed her wrist and pulled it behind her back. He picked up his sword and pointed at Annabeth's chest.

"I win." She glared at him.

"Fine. But this isn't over."

"Aw, don't be a sore loser, Annie."

"One, don't call me Annie. Two, I'm not a sore loser and three, I should have won!"

"Whatever helps you sleep at night, babe."

"I really don't like you right now, Seaweed Brain."

"No, you love me!" Percy grinned. Annabeth rolled her eyes. "I don't even know why I try sometimes."

"Honestly cupcake, how do you put up with this idiot?" Coach Hedge asked.

"He's hot and my best friend,"Annabeth replied simply.

The rest of us were just watching the conversation like a tennis match. Annabeth just implied that she loved Percy. But, I doubt it. Doubt they were even dating long. Probably just a two months or something. I bet she's just a stuck up blonde.

The bell rang and us girls all headed to the locker rooms. As I looked at Annabeth changing (No, I was not checking her out! I was simply observing) I saw faint white scars all over her back. The worst was a big X scar on her lower back. Piper had same scars on her stomach. The girls continued changing and left the locker rooms without so much as a glance towards us. It's like they thought they were too good for us.

Annabeth's POV

I walked through the halls feeling very self-conscious. A lot of people were staring at me. Most of the girls were glaring at me and boys were ogling me. Ugh! I wish I was at camp but there's an advantage to all of this. I get to be with Percy everyday. Don't get me wrong, I'm not clingy at all but ever since... that place, I've needed Percy now more than ever. He's the only one who can help through the nightmares. Twelve hours of torture but it felt like twelve days down there. No, I will not speak of it. No. Never. But apparently Tyche wasn't on my side today.

I reached my locker and I put my books in it. I smiled as I looked at the pictures. They were of the rest of the Seven and I, and all my closest friends. I remembered that day. That was the day we won the Giant War. Percy and I had just escaped from Tar-Oh gods. The flashes started.

Percy was hanging from chains. His body was bruised and blood was flowing out of his body and he looked deathly pale. I was tied to a chair and Kronos continued stabbing Percy with his scythe. I couldn't do anything. I felt so helpless.

"I'm sorry Annabeth. Goodbye, I love you."

"No! Percy! Please don't leave me! PERCY!" But it was too late. He was already gone.

I was frozen to the spot, tears brimming in my eyes. That never happened. Percy's safe. He's alive. We're together.

Someone touched my shoulder. It was Percy.

"Wise Girl, are you okay?"

I shook my head and buried my face in his chest. I was completely shaking. He wrapped his arms tighter around me.

"It happened again. You were dead. They killed you and I had to just sit there and watch them kill you."

Percy kissed my temple.

"It's okay, we're together. I'm here and nothing is going to tear us apart."

He lifted my chin and gave me a kiss.

Piper's POV

The nerve of that bitch! I still haven't forgotten over it. I hate it when people make those racist jokes towards me. It pisses me off. I'd had enough of that at my old school. When I was younger people bullied me because of it.

She'll wish she hadn't messed with me. Then she had the audacity to flirt with my boyfriend in front of me. I could just snap her neck. Being a daughter of Aphrodite, I could tell who wanted to break up our relationships. That's not going to happen. The demigods are my family. Knowing Annabeth, she'll personally kill them. I'll cheer her on.

I put my books in my locker and followed Jason to the cafeteria.

Percy's friends were sitting at the table along with Thalia and Nico who were making googly eyes at each other. Jason stiffened next to me. I guess he wanted to be the overprotective brother.

"Hey guys," he said as we sat down.

"Hey Jason. So...how long have you two been dating?" Ariana asked.

"Um, three years. We met in my old high school. We've been through a lot together."

Ariana nodded.

"And you two?" Mckenna asked Thalia and Nico.

"Hmm?" Thalia asked.

"How long have you two been dating?"

Thalia glared at her. "I don't see how that's any of your business."

"Thals! Be nice!"

The black haired used-to-be huntress rolled her eyes.

"Τι; Είναι καμία από την επιχείρησή της," Thalia snapped.

"Mckenna είναι φίλος μου. Παρακαλώ, να είναι ωραία. Για μένα;" Nico pleaded. They both continued to argue in Greek then switched to Italian.

Nico pouted and Thalia finally conceded.

"Six months. We've been dating for six months but we knew each other since Nico was ten." Mckenna looked a little disappointed by that. Oh no, I really hope she isn't going to be a problem for Thalico. Percy and Annabeth arrived and sat down at the table.

"What took you guys so long?" Thalia asked.

"I had to get some stuff from my locker," Annabeth replied.

"Oh."

"So Perce, where did you and Annabeth meet?" Macey asked.

"At camp. We were twelve. She hated me," Percy stated.

"Hate is a very strong word. Strongly disliked," Annabeth argued.

"Suuuurrrrreee," Percy said sarcastically.

"You wanna keeep that head, Seaweed Brain?" the Daughter of Athena threatened.

"Shutting up."

"What's with the nicknames?" Selena asked. "What's with the questions?" Thalia countered.

"Just asking," Selena said meekly.

"Thals, it's fine. She can ask away. And to answer your previous question, I called him that because his head is full of seaweed. He calls me Wise Girl because-"

Percy cut Annabeth off. "She's scary smart."

The five girls Jason and I saw this morning strutted over to our table. I saw Annabeth clench her fists. "Hey Percy," Kris said in a flirtatious voice. "Hey Kris. Could you leave?" Nico asked. "I was talking to Percy," she replied simply.

Annabeth was fuming. "Didn't I tell you to stay way from my boyfriend?!" she snarled.

"What are you gonna do? You're just a dumb blonde,"Kris sneered.

Big mistake. Annabeth turned around and slapped Kris hard across the face. So hard it left a red mark.

"Be grateful I didn't kill you. If you value your life you'll get as far away from my boyfriend as possible."

"My daddy is going to hear about this!" (A/N - Remind anyone of a certain someone?)

"Go on. See if I give a damn," Annabeth snapped.

Kris and her cronies huffed then walked off. Annabeth was shaking with anger. Percy wrapped his arms around her and that seemed to calm her down but Annabeth was muttering profanity in Ancient Greek. Profanity that I'd rather not repeat. First day and we're already getting into trouble.

"Hey, I forgot to ask. Where are you girls staying?" Jason asked. "At a house. Our cousins in high places gave it to us," I replied and thank gods that Percy, being the Seaweed Brain he is, understood the hidden message.

The mortals looked back and forth between us.

"Your cousins bought you a house?!" Janessa asked incredulously.

"Yeah. It was a gift for being 'their favourite cousins'," Thalia said with air quotes.

"You're serious?" Daemon asked.

I nodded. "Very.""

The rest of the lunch period passed in comfortable silence and before I knew it, it was over. "What do you have next, superman?" I asked.

"Meteorology. Finally some time with my big sis."

It finally dawned on me how much time had passed since we'd all been together. I'd been in LA staying at my dad's mansion, Thalia had been at camp and Annabeth had been in 'Frisco. We'd all been apart from each other for way too long. The only people missing are Leo, Frank and Hazel. The latter was at Camp Jupiter with Frank who was praetor and Leo was there as well. He was spending a lot of time there and I don't know why which is sad because Leo is kind of like my step-brother and my best friend and I should know what's going on with him.

Ever since the war, he's been more closed off. He wouldn't tell me or anyone for that matter and I was worried. It's not just me, it's everyone else. We're all worried about him. I need to talk to Leo. Like really need to talk to him.

"Pipes, you okay?" Jason asked, his brows furrowing in concern.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Gotta get to class."

"So do I. We'll hang out later, okay? I really missed you."

I grinned at him. "I missed you too. You can come over to our house. I'll give you the tour."

We walked out the cafeteria and into the school halls.

"See you llater, Sparky."

"See you, Pipes." He kissed me sweetly then left. These are the times when I realize just how much of my mother's daughter that I am. I smiled to myself then walked into my next class.

Thalia's POV

I'm not blind and I'm not stupid. I saw how that Mckenna girl was staring at my boyfriend. I didn't mind though. I mean who could blame her? Nico was gorgeous. I didn't realize how much I missed him until I saw him. People stared at us as we passed by. Ugh! Don't these people have things to do?! I could hear the whispers.

"...heard she's his cousin."

"That's weird. He's dating his cousin!"

"Nico could do sooooo much better." I whipped my head around to the bitch who said that. It was that Tessanne chick from this so called Fab 5. I strode over to her and shoved her into the lockers.

"What'd you just about me?!"

She smirked. "So you heard? Nico could do better than you."

I clenched my fist around her stupid little neck. "You wanna say that again?" Nico tried to pull me away from her.

"Thals, let her go. It's not worth it."

I rolled my eyes and let go of the goth wannabe. She clutched her neck and fussed over her nails and makeup. I stared her in the face and could see the fear in her eyes. Good. I smirked at her wickedly.

"Let's get one thing straight, Nico is mine. He'll never leave me for a slut like you. Do us all a favour and stay away from him."

I turned around and went to my next class which was Meteorology, Nico kissed me goodbye as I reached my class. I walked in and sat down next to Jason. He put an arm around me and I leaned my head on his shoulder. I could tell he missed me a lot. Ever since Nico and I started dating, Jason's been seriously protective of me.

The teacher walked in and me, being the new student, had to introduce myself to a couple of gossipy and snobby mortals.

As the teacher droned on and on about Meteorology, I freely admit to falling asleep. My head was in Jason's lap and his fingers were combing through my hair.

"Miss Grace!"

Jason shook me awake.

"Huh?" "wake up, Thals." I sat up.

"Miss Grace! Why don't you tell us why Meteorology is so important?"

Some snobby bitches giggled. I glared at the teacher. He gulped.

"First of all, don't use my last name. And to answer your question, it's important because it helps people to know how to plan for the day and it let's us know what weather we're going to have."

He smiled approvingly. "Very good."

I sighed then placed my head back in Jason's lap and fell asleep.

Macey's POV

You think you know your friends. Especially when there's at least two to three years of friendship to back it up. So when the Big Three's girlfriends showed up this morning, I saw a completely different side to each of them. Nico finally cracked a smile, Jason's normally hard and guarded eyes softened and Percy released the tension in his body that I din't even know was there.

You could say that I was somewhat jealous. Not that they were the Big Three's girlfriends, no, not at all. I was jealous of the fat they were easily able to give the Big Three a sense of calm and serenity that was forced with us. I wondered if now that their girlfriends are here if they're going to ignore us. I mean we are lucky enough they give us the time of day. We're not as popular as them. Did they even view our friendship as important? I know I'm being insecure but their girlfriends are like goddesses. Beautiful, intelligent and athletic. They were really interesting as well. Anyone who could slap Kris without even an ounce of fear had my immediate respect , seeing them made me feel really average.

During lunch I observed their relationships. They were all obviously close with one another and protective of each other. Normally you only see the guy protective of the girl but they put things in a whole new perspective.

Annabeth wasn't clingy and demanding of attention like Kris but at the same time didn't appreciate people flirting with her boyfriend. Thalia and Nico were certainly the most interesting. While Nico was quiet, she was loud and gave off a 'don't mess with me' vibe. Piper showed to be extremely protective of Jason, like she was afraid he would disappear before her very eyes.

And though they were all in relationships,there was a strong familial bond unlike anything I had ever witnessed. Percy, Thalia and Nico were absolute siblings. They looked so alike. The black hair and explosive eyes.

Jason and Thalia were very, very close. Unlike brothers and sisters occasionally despising each other, this was different. Thalia was like Jason's pseudo-mother.

Annabeth and Thalia were like sisters. Thalia was like her older sister. The both of them and Piper were like really close.

Strangely enough, they all looked to Percy like he was their leader. Something like 'we only attack if Percy says to.'

I know it's too early for me to make these observations seeing as it's their first day but I'm extremely observant. Like really observant. I could tell just by the way they all looked at each other. It was like they'd been through so much but had overcome their trials. They walked with a confidence and uprightness like they knew what they were about. Like they knew their place in the world and that was just mind boggling.

Oh yeah, this year is going to be interesting...
