This is my first attempt at writing a fan fiction instead of just reading them all the time. Please be honest!

"Bella, I need you to watch Jake tonight, I'm going to be on this new live show."

"Live show?"

"Yeah, a bunch of us artists are going to sculpt live on you tube. So I need you to try to keep him quiet"

"How long is the show?"

"An hour or two"

My fiancée Edward is an artist. Not what you normally think either; he's a 3D artist, and wants to be one of those guys who works on games and movies. Do I think he can do this? One day I do. Right now though, it's just not realistic.

I'm the only one working now, we have a 4-month-old son, and it is not easy. Even with our help from the state, we're still struggling to pay rent in our little one bedroom.

I just got done working 12 hours in the bookstore and now he wants me to try to keep our son quiet for maybe two hours? Oh sure, piece of cake. No problem at all.

The show went pretty good actually, the guys Edward was sculpting with were actually pretty funny. It did not seem like any of them minded the little bit of baby babble that was broadcasted during their show.

Dear Diary,

Today was a long day. I barely got to say hello to Jake before I had to leave for work. The joys of retail. I mean I like my job and I have fun sometimes, but I feel like I'm missing my sons childhood. Yes I know I'm doing this for him and he's so little now I won't miss much, but I just…I guess it's my "mommy" instinct or something. He of course woke up and smiled at me as soon as I walked in. God I love him so much.

Edward asked me to try to keep him quiet for about two hours while he did some show on you tube. I was able to keep him from crying but he was babbling up a storm. The guys on the show didn't seem to mind. I talked to the creators. Some Emmett and Jasper guy. They seem nice enough. They have big plans for this show. I guess we will see. Well, I'm off to bed. Until next time…
