Return of the Potter's

Chapter 2

Recap on last Chapter:

" Harry, I dare you to cast the what if spell on yourself." An extremely bored Ron Weasley dared Harry.

" Ron! No! That can have serious side affects when you cast it on your self!" an indigent Hermione cut in before Harry could reply.

" Oh, relax Hermione, I'll give you ten galleons to do it, Harry." Ron offered.

" O.K. qué si "

There was a blinding flash of silver. What the trio saw when they could see again almost made them faint. Lily and James Potter stood in front of them looking confused.

" Hey guys," Harry said tentatively " I thought I was supposed to be the only one who could see them."

" I- I told you it could it could have serious side effects! You should never have done that!" Hermione said.

When Albus dumbledore Said 'enter' he wasn't expecting what he saw, For the first time in many years Albus Dumbledore found himself speechless.

"Well, Don't look happy to see us Albus" Lily Potter said jokingly

Albus paled and looked at Harry for an explanation.

"It was dare sir!" Ron Explained

Harry nodded, "yeah, Ron dared me to cast the what if spell, and well" he paused and looked at his parents, "This happened"

Lily paled "What happened?"

"Your suppossed to be dead" Albus muttered

anyways on with the story!

It was James & Lily's turn to pale, "D-dead?" James stuttered.

"Don't be silly Albus, We're clearly not dead, why would you think otherwise?" Lily asked

Hermione and Ron shared a knowing glance, "We'll meet you back at the common room Harry" Hermione told him, "Yeah mate, see you in a few"

Harry nodded slowly, still in shock over the side effects.

Once Hermione and Ron left Albus started questioning Lily and James, to make sure they were who they said they are.

"Now James, Lily, take a seat" Albus said while going to the fireplace, "Severus Snape" He called into the floo system.

James was outraged "Snivellus?" He snarled, "What they hell is that death eater doing here?!"

Lily nodded her head in agreement.

Albus sighed, "Severus please bring some veritaserum to my office" then sat back down, "Now James, to answer your question, Severus Is the potions professor, here at hogwarts"

Lily's eye's got cold, "Why?" was all she could say

"Everyone deserves Second c-" He started but was interrupted by both parents "No Albus, He of all people should never, get a second chance!"

The Fireplace turned green, Severus Snape stepped out into the Headmasters office, He wasn't expecting what he saw. "L-lily?" He asked ignoring his nemesis completely.

Lily's eyes blazed with anger, "How dare you talk to me, you Death Eater!" she screeched

An unreadable emotion passed over Severus's face, Perhaps he was sorry?, No! don't get your hopes up Lily! She scolded herself

"Lily, Please believe me, I had no idea that the dark lord had chosen your son, I would never have told him if i had" He tried to plead

Lily paled, "So it would be okay if the 'Dark Lord'" she mimicked "Where to choose my godson instead?"

Severus almost nodded but caught himself before he was really in trouble, shaking his head he turned to the Headmaster, "Here's the potion you requested Headmaster" He said, and with that he left the office immediately.

"Lily, Was that completely necessary?" Albus sighed, "Never mind what's done is done, Now lets see if you are really who you say you are"

Lily and James had a silent conversation, James nodded before turning to the Professor and said, "As long as the potion doesn't affect the babies"

Albus looked stunned, "Babies?" he asked, "what babies?"

"Albus, I was 6 months pregnant when voldemort tried to kill us, I'm eight and a half months pregnant, with twins" Lily said after a moment of silence.

Albus paled, Hurrying to the fireplace he called Madam Pomfrey, The Hogwarts Matron, "Madam Pomfrey?" he called, "Would you mind coming through to my office?"

Just as Albus was about to sit, he realised Harry was unconscious, "Harry?" he called out in alarm.

Lily and James laughed, "Rennervate" Lily said pointing her wand at her son, "He's in shock" she explained to Professor Dumbledore.

Albus chuckled to himself, "Of all the things to shocked about today" he then turned to Lily, "My dear, the potion will not affect the children, if you'd like to go first to get it over and done with?" he asked her, "Madam Pomfrey will be here in a minute, you need a checkup, just to make sure everythings okay with you and the Children"

Lily nodded and downed the potion handed to her, 'I don't really feel any different' she thought

"Now down to business, What's your full name?" (Albus)

"Lillian Rose Evans-Potter" Lily said, 'Oh that's how it works'

"When were you born?" He asked

"January 30th 1960" She told him

And finally, What was your, eldest sister called, (A/N: I was thinking of Lily having a magical sister, as well as Petunia)

"Lydia Edwards" She said, Albus handed her a vial, which she downed gladly.

"Now for you Mr Potter, It won't take long" Albus told James.

James was reluctant to let his son stay, "Harry maybe you should wait outside, just until Albus is finised"

Harry opened his mouth to argue, but Lily intervened, "Harold James Potter, your father is not ready to share this information with you yet" Lily sighed, "It's nothing bad, it's just bad memories Dear"

Harry nodded in understanding, Lily escorted him out, Madam Pomfrey was waiting for her at the end of the staircase.

"L-lily, Lily Potter?" She gasped, "How on earth?"

She glanced at Harry, "Never mind, How are you doing my dear?"

Lily nodded, "I'm fine Poppy, could you give me a check up?"

Pomfrey looked stunned, but nevertheless nodded "Of course my dear, come into this makeshift hospital, I have a couple of these near the teacher's office's"

Lily walked in and looked around, "It looks just like St Mungo's"

"Of course dear, They wanted to build them you see, couldn't say no" Poppy told her, "Now lie down on this bed here"

Lily lay down, "Ohh that's cold" She giggled when the gel was rubbed on her stomach
