a guy1013: Freeza's race is something completely different than Saiyans. Their PL and potential is higher than normal Saiyan so there was nothing strange with Freeza's PL so Whis didn't pay attention to him. Goku who is a Saiyan was born with PL of 10000 which has never happened before and his potential is much greater than anyone else, even Freeza, and that is why Whis decided to train Goku.
I think it's not exactly power that is needed to pull the Z-Sword, but potential, and like I said Goku's potential is higher than anyone's in the anime and manga even Gohan and Freeza. To put it simply, Goku has a God of Destruction potential even though he is just a mortal.
When Goku was born his PL was 10000, but it's not like with Gohan and Broly who had to get angry to be able to use all that power, he could actually use those 10000 PL right after he was born, and by the time Whis came to get him when Goku was 5 years old, his PL was at least a million, which is not unbelievable because Goten and Trunks became Super Saiyans when they were like 6 years old, and they didn't have even 10% of Goku's potential in this story. Add two years of training on Grand Kais planet, and another year on Supreme Kais planet, he became more powerful than Gohan when he broke the Z-Sword.
Also, this is a fucking fanfiction, so who gives a fuck about realistic. I have read so many different fanfiction were characters gain powers they would have never been able to get, and no one seems to care about that. At least in my fanfic it does seem possible for Goku to be this powerful, especially because Broly was God of Destruction level in the latest movie, and I doubt that he had even one fourth of the training that Goku and Vegeta had in the anime, and he was still able to overpower them. And Goku is basically Broly here, only without the rage moments that Broly has.
Chapter 2
After leaving Supreme Kais planet, Goku was taken by Whis on Beerus's planet were they started his training.
Unlike North Kai and Supreme Kai who focused on one or two things in training Goku, Whis focused on everything, speed, physical strength, attack power.
During this training with Whis, Goku has achieved a level above his normal level, which according to the legend is called Super Saiyan.
After he achieved this transformation, Goku wanted to train while transformed as much as possible, but Whis insisted that training in his base form is much better, since the power of his transformed state depends on the power of his base state, and he can fight much longer in his base form then his SS form. Goku of course didn't like this, but he couldn't do anything about it.
During the second year of training with Whis, Goku has met Beerus, who awoke from his sleep because of all the nice Goku and Whis were making during training.
Beerus was very irritated at first, and didn't think much of Goku, but after some time he realize that Goku has a lot of potential and his progress is tremendous, as he has reached at 15% of Beerus's full power in just few short years of training, and he is just a 10 year old kid.
