Hello, guys. So, second battle one shot of this fic. I am sorry for being sooo sloow with my updates lately, especially if you follow Chaos Ending. I'm currently working ahead on that, so that you don't have to wait like, one month to read another chapter. Again. In this chapter, I used oc's Yashiro Tsukigata, and Kanashi Baru, from Hoshiro Kamui 217's fic, Days of Darkness. Now's your cue to go read that, by the way. Anyways, reviews.

Decode: G-geez, man... it wasn't all that. And sensei? Really? Wolo.

Darknesswithin: Yes, that was pretty much my intention, yet it stil wasn't as good as I planned. Glad that you enjoyed it, though.

Nights: Yeah... I figured it lacked some persona hits. I'll somehow find a way to fix that in my ther works. But not right now. Thanks.

I believe I said this before, but I don't own Persona, Kanashi, or Yashiro. Let's get this started.

Jab, jab, weave to the right. Inhale...

Jab again, right straight, step in, left hook, step away. Exhale...

Weave to the left, left body blow, and...

Bang!

Chopping right.

The sandbag was launched backwards, only to come back around like a pendulum.

Sigh...

"It's sad how in the end, the punchbag is the only one who doesn't leave." Yashiro said to himself as he halted the sandbag's motion and glanced around at the empty gym. Everyone's gone home, and he was the only one still there.

It's been like this since Akihiko-senpai left the school. No one ever stayed for longer than they had to, so it wasn't unusual for him to be left alone like this. Probably because the other people actually looked forward to going home.

Yashiro didn't.

He lived alone in a small apartment in Iwatodai. He didn't need to worry much about money, because his grandfather, Dahn, who owned a crowded candy shop, helped largely with Yashiro's expenses. Although he considered the old man a good and kind person, they didn't speak much whenever they met. Probably because they understood and respected each other's loneliness very well.

Yashiro sat on the edge of the ring of the ring in the middle of the gym. He wasn't tired in the slightest. Physically, that is. Whenever he was left alone like this, his mind drifted off to all kinds of places. Almost always sad places. Yeah, he was kind of a sad person. Maybe because he thought that he'd never achieve his most desired goal, but that is a story for another time.

Because someone just opened the door to the gym. Yashiro looked towards the unexpected presence, and what a surprise:

Kanashi was the one to disrupt his solitude, no less.

"Yo, man. I've been looking everywhere for you." Kanashi said while walking towards Yashiro.

"Oh, really?" Yashiro asked with his usual poker face.

"I should've guessed you'd be here, though. Mitsuru said that we gotta go to the dorm tonight, cause she has something mad important to say. So, yeah. You better be there." Kanashi delivered his message.

"Alright." Yashiro was about to wave Kanshi off, but he suddenly had an idea. "Do we need to go right now?" He asked.

"No, I don't think so. Why do you ask?"

Yashiro was now thinking about how to make this request, but then he remembered this was Kanashi he was talking to.

He got up and grabbed a pair of gloves that were sitting on the blue corner of the ring, and tossed them towards Kanashi. Then he gave a small smirk.

"Care to have a little spar with me?" He asked.

Kanashi was a bit surprised. Not because of the invitation, mind you, but because Yashiro was smirking. So, Mr. Poker Face wanted a scrap, huh?

"Alright." Kanashi said, as he took off his jacket and put the gloves on.

Yashiro climbed onto the ring and soon after, Kanshi did the same.

"Just don't go crying to your grandpa after I'm through with you." Kanashi taunted.

Yashiro laughed. "Hearty as always. I won't go easy on you, either. In fact..." Yashiro's smirk widened, if only very slightly. "I'll even let you use kicks."

Kanashi's eyes widened a bit, but he soon regained his composure. So, he wanted Kanashi to go all out?

"Okay. You'll regret it, though." Kanashi raised his guard.

"We'll see about that." Yashiro hopped twice while rolling his shoulder, then assumed his stance.

Then the sound system suddenly turned on, and Rock Rebellion started playing.

That startled both Yashiro and Kanashi a bit, but eventually, they decided to pay it no mind.

"Come on, already!" Yashiro taunted, and now there was a full grin on his face.

"With pleasure!" Kanashi yelled as he lunged forward like a mad bull.

Yashiro's feet sprung into motion, and he used his footwork to step back a bit, and then he threw a one-two from just outside of Kanashi's reach. Both punches connected, and Yashiro ducked forward to deliver a right upper, but Kanashi was quick enough to recover and block the blow, then throw a strong hay maker right at Yashiro's face.

Kanashi wasn't about to stop, and threw a left hook at Yashiro's cheek, which made his face turn away. Yashiro was taking a bit of a long time to turn his face back, so Kanashi followed with a roundhouse to Yashiro's face.

Perfect.

Yashiro's grin only widened as he ducked under the kick, then threw a left at Kanashi's ribs, and a chopping right at Kanashi's open cheek.

But he didn't fall. Of course not.

Kanashi recovered and tried a knee at Yashiro's gut, but he had stepped away long since. In fact, he was outside of Kanashi's view. Freaking ninja.

Kanashi instinctively ducked at the first faint sound he heard, and sure enough, it was a right hook from Yashiro. Kanashi used the opportunity to ram his elbow at Yashiro's stomach, which made him double over, then he fully sprung up with a strong right uppercut, knocking Yashiro down.

"How do you like that?" Kanashi taunted as Yashiro got up.

"Hah. I want to see you do that again." Yashiro's grin was still present, despite the knockdown.

"Oh, yeah? Then watch!" Kanashi said as he rushed again.

Yashiro decided to to change his tactics this time around, amd started stepping back while dodging Kanashi's punches, until he was on the ropes.

"Nowhere to run now, huh?" Kanashi said as he threw a right at Yashiro's face, which was dodged. Then a left. Dodged. Then a high kick. Yashiro leaned back on the ropes and dodged.

Kanashi was starting to get aggravated by the constant dodges and by Yashiro's smirk. He continued his furious, but futile barrage. Right, left, right. Weave, weave, bob. What a clever son of a bitch! Kanashi lost his cool and threw a hard right upper, and Yashiro ducked to the right, finally letting go of the ropes and came back with a Smash, cleanly landing on Kanashi's chin and knocking him down.

Yashiro laughed. "Get up! You're not done, right?"

That smartass! He knew Kanashi was trying to finish the fight by going for Yashiro's face, so he did that stupid rope-da-dope! Kanashi got up and said nothing. Yashiro's grin was now wider than ever. Kanashi would go as far as to say that that smile was a bit twisted, but he knew better.

Kanashi raised his guard as he rushed at Yashiro, who held onto the ropes again, but Kanashi wasn't having any of that.

The first attack he dealt was a knee to Yashiro's gut.

Yashiro wasn't expecting this and took the hit, making the ropes bend back a bit.

Kanashi continued to ram knee after knee on Yashiro's stomach, with no intention of stopping whatsoever.

Eventually, Yashiro started tasting blood in his mouth.

And that only made him grin wider, and even release a low chuckle, despite the pain. It was wonderful to see how quick they blindly lost themselves in the fight.

Kanashi heard Yashiro's chuckle, and that infuriated him beyond belief. He stopped his knee assault, only to hit as hard of a right as he could on Yashiro's face, making the ropes bend far back.

Then something snapped in Yashiro.

Despite the big hit he took, Yashiro leaned further on the ropes and came back with a strong headbutt to Kanashi's nose.

Kanashi staggered back, and blood started trickling down his nostrils, but Yashiro didn't stop, as he kicked Kanashi's ribs, then hit a knee on his already hurt nose.

Wait, what?

Yashiro can kick? Kanashi didn't know that.

But alas, Kanashi recovered and he was PISSED. He kicked Yashiro's shin, making him drop to one knee, then followed up with a downward elbow, sending Yashiro face first to the ground.

Yashiro, however, wasted no time getting back up, and hit a right upper on Kanashi's chin, then a left jab, then a right hook, then a low swipe, making it Kanashi's turn to be dropped to one knee, and he was about to follow up with a punt to Kanashi's head, but Kanashi found the strength to cross block the kick, and sprung up with an uppercut.

But he wasn't expecting Yashiro's right Beatdown.

"Agh!"

"Grr..."

Both hits connected, and although Kanashi's punch hit first, Yashiro was the one with the advantage now.

He threw a right, which Kanashi hastily blocked...

Right before a remote controller hit him from God knows where, knocking him out cold.

Yashiro blinked once, but took his again, searching for whoever did th-

Bang!

Then he blacked out.

"Tch. Stupid blockheads. They can't even have a simple spar without ripping each other's throat apart..." Akihiko said as he picked the remote from the canvas and turned off the sound system.

"One of this days, I swear..." He grabbed both Yashiro and Kanashi by the hair and dragged them out of the gym.

Bam, done. It was fun to write those two. And ten points and cookies for whoever knows who Yashiro's grandfather is. If you somehow know, yes. It's THAT Dahn. Anyways, review, or else I'll cry. And never update again. Kidding.

See ya'll later, ho.
