Harry was startled when Hedwig came back next morning with a letter. He didn't expect an answer this soon, to be frank, he didn't expect an answer in the first place...

He sat back on the bed as he opened the letter.

Dear Boy-Who-Wouldn't-Die,

I was shocked when I received your letter. I didn't expect the Golden Boy to send me a letter. I am glad that you don't underestimate me for not knowing your address. Honestly, it was widely known that you live with muggles, and that your mother was muggle born. It was therefore most possible that you went to live with your aunt/uncle. As for your boredom, I do not happen to be a children's toy and thus would not be able to entertain you.

And I do not think that Dumbledore would be wishing to let his dear Golden Boy go insane. But seeing your reasons, I do think that it is possible, Dumbledore is a manipulator after all.

What do you mean that your Owl was your first friend? Surely you had friends in your childhood? By the way, what is your Owl's name? She is entirely too smart for an owl. That Bloody Bird had the audacity to bite me! AN OWL BIT ME! YOUR OWL! She kept glaring at me and didn't get off my shoulder until I wrote you a letter. I don't know how in Merlin's name she managed to get into my wards. She is too smart to be an Owl; I suggest you get her checked.

Harry's eyes were wide by the time he finished reading the letter. He brought out quill and parchment and started writing the next letter.
