Sam watched as the demon approached him, Dean was laying a few feet away not breathing. He knew it wouldn't last long he'd join him, where ever they were going. He felt white fire going through his mind when the demon touched his face. He screamed as everything went black. Then as quickly as it began it stopped.

He jerked awake and he was in a hospital room, Dean quickly pulled his hand back, "Whoa, Sammy calm down. I'm going to get Jess; she's been worried half to death over you."

He grabs Dean's arm pulling himself up, "Dean, what's going on. Jess…Jess died months ago in a fire like…..like mom."

"What are you talking about Sam; mom is in the waiting room with dad. Now I'm going to get the doctor."

"Dean, just tell me what's going on?"

"After Doc Williams checks out your head; sit tight I'll be right back."

……….

Ten minutes later a pregnant Jess enters the room first, followed by Mary, John, and Dean. Sam gasped at the sight of Jess, the love of his life that had died. She was beautiful, pregnant, but beautiful, "Jess?"

"Sam how are you, you scared me half to death, when Augustine showed up at the house saying you were on your way to the hospital three days ago?"

The doctor speaks before Sam can respond, "Samuel shouldn't have any lasting effects from the seizure, but it did leave some injuries as I told you when he was first brought in."

John interrupts, "Doc when can he leave?"

"It depends on if he'll be staying with you or at his house. With Jess in her condition and the baby due soon…"

"Well Doc, I've been staying with Jess helping her the past few days." Dean states.

"If you continue to stay I believe we could safely release him tomorrow."

"Dean what about Josie?"

"Josie's a little busy with all the rock star wedding details to care about me fussing over my little brother, his fiancé, and my niece."

Sam looking very dazed and confused speaks, "Whoa, rewind and would somebody tell me what the hell is going on?"

"Doc are you sure nothing is lose in college boy's head."

"No Dean, your brother is fine, save the fractured ribs and wrist."

"Okay, thank you Doctor Williams; Dean won't bother you with any more questions. I guess we'll see you tomorrow when you release Sam." Mary says, as she gently strokes Sam's forehead.

The next day, Dean supports Sam as Jess opens the door to their house. Dean speaks, "Sammy, I know you had a seizure, but you wouldn't think it would affect your legs."

"I'm tired, is all?" says Sam partly slurred.

"Well let's get you to the couch buddy." Dean helps him to the couch, where Sam lies down and Dean lays a blanket over him. Jess enters the living room from some other part of the house.

"Dean, I'm sure Sam will be fine until later this afternoon. Why don't you go get fitted for your tux."

"Ah, don't worry about it you yourself are suppose to be meeting with Josie, Kia, Dusty, Priscilla, and Yvette to get fitted again, you know final adjustments. The wedding is at the end of next week."

"Dean, it's your wedding."

"I know, but Sammy boy needs to get fitted and seeing as neither of you are suppose to be driving. I feel safer to have you drive rather than Sammy with his episodes." He pauses a second, "Do you know what Josie would do to me, if you didn't get the final fitting done." He raises an eyebrow.

"Okay then, I guess, I'll go. I'll see you later," She kisses Sam on the forehead, "Dean please take care of him."

"Don't worry Jess, he isn't in any shape to be trying to wrestle." She shakes her head as she picks up her purse and heads back out. Dean walks her to the door, then goes to the kitchen and pours two glasses of water, before heading back to the living room. "So Sam, how about those sedatives, want them now or later."

"Huh, oh later, I really need to talk to you."

"About what little brother?"

"Everything, before I woke up in the hospital. It was different than this. Just tell me that I'm awake and everything in my head is a dream."

"Your awake Sammy; Jess is real and so is your baby, she's carrying."

"Then Dean, tell me what's happened the last 15 years of my life."

"Bro, you went to all your schooling in Lawrence, Kansas. You played soccer and basketball all through school and got a scholarship to Harvard to play, but you chose the community college. Then you were accepted to Stanford 3 or 4 years ago and you went, you met Jess freshman year there. You were accepted to some fancy law school about the same time you and Jess found out you were having a baby and got engaged 8 or 9 months ago."

"What about your life Dean, what have you done? Because Dean nothing is how I remember it, except your beloved Impala."

Dean snorts out a laugh, "Always the Impala. Good thing you remember that or I might have to beat the crap out of you."

"Dean, I'm serious."
