It had all started with Chase and Molly come back from what was supposed to be a quick trip to the store to get some plastic wrap.
But of course, the duo had come back empty handed.
"I swear, those two are just so empty headed sometimes." Nico mumbled, holding onto the cyborg's arm as they walked out of the sore. A plastic bag was dangling from one of her arms, proof that they had acquired the sought after and, as Chase had put it, elusive plastic wrap.
"How could they have not seen it?"
"Very easily. Plus, not everyone has super all might powerful android vision." The magic user teased, glancing up at her boyfriend as a grin tugged at her lips. Victor's eyebrow lifted as he glanced down at her with a mock scowl.
"Cyborg." He corrected.
"Whatever Mr. Robot." She shot back. Victor stopped in his tracks.
"Excuse me?" Nico sighed and tugged his arm gently. Frustration was clear on her face and had obviously crept into her voice.
"Oh come on Victor. You know I don't think that about you. I love you." The frustration seeped out of her voice and a much gentler tone took over.
The cyborg was silent for a minute before a faint smile touched his lips and he leaned down to kiss her nose while his free hand came to rest on his girlfriend's stomach.
"I know. And this is proof." He murmured softly and kissed her. As he pulled away, his hand smoothed over Nico's stomach in the gentlest of caresses. "I love you Nico."
"I know Vic..!" she couldn't help the squeal that escaped her as Victor picked her up and spun them both around. Her arms wrapped around his neck and the two laughed, their lips meeting in a kiss once more.
