A light breeze whistled though Kyoto Japan, birds flew anxiously across the bright blue sky. The sound of shoes clicking against the payment was one of many sounds throughout the city. The shoes belonged to a young woman, who was no older than sixteen. Her hair was deep red, curly and long, and it came to a stop just below her breasts. Her eyes were a bright green that went with her slightly tan skin; freckles danced a crossed her cheek's as her plump lips were slightly open as she pushed her way through the crowded sidewalk. The outfit she wore was a simple black skirt that came just below her knees; dark green tights hugged her long legs as she wore a simple pair of black shoes. The shirt she wore was an off the shoulder and was a beautiful shade of light green. The woman's gripped tighten around her purse that hung from her shoulder as she continued to push her way through the coward. She mumbled a few excuses but no one seemed to either hear or care. She quickly made her way through the crowd causing her to sigh happily as she hurried down the sideway, she passed a few small stops only to completely stop in front of a small bakery. The smell of sweets lingered around the shop causing her to drool slightly; she quickly wiped the drool off her chin as she began debated whether or not to go in A few moments passed as she just stood there staring at the bakery, her eyes narrowed slightly at it before she mumbled screw it and hurry in the shop.
A wide smile was present on her lips when she left the bakery; in her left hand she held a dango covered skewer. As she walked down the sidewalk she placed the skewer in her mouth and pulled one of the dangos off. She crewed happily as she reached into her purse with her right hand; she pulled out a dark blue flip phone that had too many phone charms on it. She flipped it open and her eyes widen in shock when she noticed the time, she swallowed the dango as she stuffed her phone back into her purse before she took off running. She made many turns; the city sounds were soon replaced with the sounds of birds chirping, and children laughing. She hurried through the busy park, children played around the playground while their parents were seating at benches nearby. She quickly passed them as a long row of benches came into view; the benches were placed against tree trunks which gave the benches some shade. Her breath came out in pants as she searched the benches for her friends; she soon caught sight of a young woman around her age. She was sitting at bench that was place in front of a large cherry blossom tree, a deep red book was placed in her hands as she flipped the page. Her hair was midnight black that reached her shoulders and was choppy; her skin was flawless and went perfectly with her deep brown eyes. Her lips were slightly full and were naturally red; she wore a simple black band shirt that came to a stop just below her belly button. Her jeans were rippled and tight fitting, they were tucked under her flat ankle boots.
"Seika!" she called out as she hurried towards her, the woman known as Seika lifted her head from her book. She narrowed her eyes at the approaching girl.
"Your late Remi," Remi sent her a small smile as she stopped in front of her, she mumbled sorry while she took a seat. Her breath came out in pants as she tried to catch her breath, while she did so Seika raised an eye brow at her.
"I got distracted," Remi said as she pushed her hair away from her face, Seika let out a small sigh as she closed her book and placed it in a dark blue bag at her feet.
"By sweets," Seika motioned to the dangos, which cause Remi to let out a nervous laugh while nodding slowly. Seika let out a laugh as she reached over and grabbed the skewer, Remi watched with wide eyes as Seika begin to eat the rest of the dangos.
"You ate my dangos," Remi cried out in horror as a wide smirk formed on Seika lips as she finished crewing the last one,
"Yes I did, and they were delicious." Seika spoke as she handed her friend the skewer, Remi stared at the bare skewer before she narrowed her eyes at Seika.
"Well I'm glad you enjoyed them," she spoke sarcastically causing Seika to let out laugh, a wide smile formed on Remi's face as she joined her.
"Where's Whitney at?" Remi asked about their American friend that was supposed to be here as well, Seika rolled her eyes at her name. Their American friend was a bit of a snob that liked to complain about everything, which really pissed Seika off. Every time Remi was down about Ryuji Whitney would always bring up how he left her, and that he would never come came. Seika remembered a time when she had slapped her across the face for saying that, after that she only said it when Seika wasn't around.
"She was here for a few minutes but left, she said she had something more important to do."
"What's more important than seeing Mr. Shima!" Remi cried out as they began to stand up. Seika shrugged her shoulders as she bent down and picked up her purse.
"I honestly don't know nor care," Remi let a small smile form on her lips, as they began to make their way towards the inn where Yaozo Shima lay resting. As they walked out of the park Remi quickly disposed the skewer in a large garage can, as they walked to the inn Remi couldn't help but have butterflies in her stomach. But why? She couldn't understand it, the last time she had butterflies was when Ryuji asked to meet her to join him on the hill to watch the sunset. But that was a long time ago, she shook her head to get of her thoughts but it was no use. Ryuji Suguro was on her mind, and there was no way of getting rid of it.
