I hope people are enjoying it! :)
"Danny, can you come down for a second?" Danny looked at his room. It was pretty messy...
"Danny?" Danny gave up and ran down the stairs. He could clean it later.
"What did we say about always having a Thermos with you?" Maddie pried the Thermos with Technus in it off of the Portal, and handed it to him. "It's dangerous!"
Danny shrugged. "It was only downstairs, Mom!"
"It was only downstairs when that hunter ghost came crashing down through the window and nearly got you!" Maddie sighed and put a hand on her son's shoulder.
Danny went intangible, and grinned when her hand passed through. "Oh, Danny, you know that annoys me!" She put her hands on her hips. "I just... want to make sure you're ok."
Danny walks away with the Thermos. "Don't worry, Mom. I know what I'm doing." The Thermos lets out an evil laugh.
"Danny! Are you ready for a ghost hunt?" Jack grabs Danny and shoves him in the RV. "Just wait there while I grab some special Non-Phantom Fenton toys- I mean, weapons!"
"You know, I could just fly around. I can see more from there." Jack piles in with an array of Non-Phantom weaponry on his back, and dumps it in the back.
"But I was just thinking we could have a real father/son bonding moment!" Danny gets crushed by his Dad's arm across his back. "We haven't had much of a chat since that Disasteroid. You've just been so busy!"
The car swerves widely into the road, and Danny holds onto the seat. "Father/son bonding moment should really include some seatbelts."
"Seatbelts? Seatbelts... are for punks." Jack leans in closer, and turns the wheel about unnecessarily. A car honked very loudly to Danny's left.
"So, you are the Ghost Boy now, hey?" Jack looks over at him. "I still can't believe you managed to hide it for all those- GHOST!" He slams on the brakes, jolting Danny. "Let me get my Non-Phantom Fenton Finder out and we'll be catching some ghosts in no time!"
Jack stares intently into the device. "Ghost directly to the right of you. If you cannot see the ghost directly to the right of you, you have to have failed a sight test at some point recently."
Danny crossed his arms. "So much for Non-Phantom."
"Hey, Danny, can you see anything to the right of you, you know, with those ghost powers of your's?" Jack stares out of the window on the left side. "It has to be intangible!"
"The correct term for that is invisible, Dad." Danny sighs. "And you're looking on the wrong side."
"You see, that's what the ghosts want you to think!" Jack narrows his eyes. "If only..."
Daddy felt his ghost sense go off.
"I AM THE BOX GHOST!" Danny jumped.
"Didn't I just have you in the Thermos?" Danny rattled it, like that was going to do anything.
"I AM THE BOX GHOST! NO MERE CONTAINER OF - whatever it is - SHALL HOLD ME FOR LONG!" He paused. "Oh, and Technus helped."
"Wait, what did you say about-"
"I'll show you what happens to enemies of the Fentons!" Jack grabbed a bazooka and aimed at the Box Ghost.
"Dad, wait, no!" Danny tried to stop him, but the shot came off and hit the Box Ghost 'square' in the chest, knocking him against a wall.
"Come here, crate creep!" Jack leapt out of the RV, with Danny following in close pursuit. I'm gonna tear you and your kind apart molecule by molecule, you hear me?" Jack looked over at his son. "Oh, except for you, Danny."
"FEAR ME!" The Box Ghost turned intangible and fazed through the wall.
"Huh, he got away." Jack scratched his head. "Nevermind, I'm sure we can find another..."
Danny's ghost sense went off again.
"See?! I was right... again!" Jack brandished his bazooka. "Now, just to find him..."
"Ghost Child! I haven't seen you since that day I helped you save your pitiful planet!" Skulker hovered near the top of the Nasty Burger, several large rockets mounted on his shoulders. "Now it is time for you to meet your doom... finally."
"Going ghost!" Danny transforms and floats up. "You know, you've been hunting me for such a long time, and every time you think you can-"
Something hits him in the back and he smashes right into Skulker. "Sorry, son!" Jack calls. Skulker stares down at Danny, slightly surprised but otherwise unhurt.
He smiles. "I like your new assistant." He gets Danny by the throat, and lifts him up. "Say goodbye, Ghost Child!"
Danny repulses him, causing him to fly into the side of a vent.
"Are you alright, son?" Jack is struggling to climb the dumpsters so he can get to the top.
"Yeah, I got it, Dad. Just hand me the Thermos and we have him!"
Jack held out the Thermos, somewhat disappointed. "I thought that was my job!"
"Don't worry, Dad. You can do it next time!" Danny aims the Thermos at Skulker, and fires with pinpoint accuracy.
The beam flies out towards Skulker, but this time, it is red. Skulker shouts a little as he gets sucked in.
Then the beam arcs around and goes straight for him.
"Danny!" Jack catches the Thermos. "Are you alright?" He opens it again, but nothing comes out. "Danny?" Jack drops it on the floor, but nothing happens. "Danny?"
He turns around. "There's only one thing we can do!" He leaps into the Fenton RV and drives it madly off back into the house.
"So you're telling me the Thermos won't let Danny out?" Sam pokes at it, but it shocks her slightly.
"Yes, it's just not working properly." Jack folds his arms.
"But... that's not possible. There has to be... something!" Jazz flaps her arms. "What if we smash it or something?"
"We can't risk hurting Danny." Maddie steps forwards. "There's something wrong with it, almost like somebody is controlling it from the inside..." Tucker's eyes widen.
"That's it! There has to be a ghost controlling it! And the only ghost who controls technology is..." Sam and Tucker face each other. "Technus!"
"Techy-who?" Jack raises an eyebrow.
The Thermos glows red and floats in the air. "Technus, master of all technology, and, finally, of this stupid Thermos that has so annoyed me lately! Now, to make a few adjustments." The Thermos turned black with purple markings, and the Fenton logo was replaced by a big T.
Out of the Thermos came Technus, and he held it proudly in his hand.
"Now that I have beaten Danny Phantom, the only thing left to do is to beat his idiot family and then I shall rule the world!"
Jazz raised an eyebrow. "I thought you stopped shouting out your plans."
"Shut up!" Technus was unaware of a knocking on the door behind him.
"Hey! I'm not an idiot!" Jack takes out a small container of lipstick and shoots Technus with it. The ghost goes flying through the wall.
"Silence!" Technus opens the Thermos. "Feel the wrath of Skulker!"
Skulker crosses his arms. "I see no ghosts worth hunting here, Technus."
Technus growls. "I am soon to be the king of all ghosts! Obey me!"
"No." And with that, he goes into the Fenton Portal and back into the Ghost Zone.
"Was I really that desperate to ally with him like Danny said in that 'alternate universe' thing?"
"Jack holds out the lipstick, which goes blue. "Freeze, ghost! With special blueberry flavour, too."
"Wait! I am not finished yet!" Technus holds out the Thermos, and twists a button. "The Techno-Thermos comes with mind-control, too!" He holds it out, and Danny Phantom comes out, with red eyes. Jack steps back.
"Danny?" Jazz asks.
"HAHAHA! This is no longer your Danny, but my evil mini-"
Danny transforms back, and lies on the floor unconscious.
Technus pouts. "No! I can only control half of him!" He floats towards the ceiling. "You haven't seen the last of me, Fentons!"
Jazz runs towards Danny. "Are you ok, little brother?
Danny holds his head. "I-I think so. But I can't go ghost now without-"
"I AM THE BOX GHOST!"
"That's all I need."
"Don't worry, Danny. We'll take care of this." Jazz picks up Danny as he falls asleep, and takes him upstairs.
The next day, Danny watches his bus leave. "No matter! I'm going-"
"Danny, don't!" Jazz runs in. "Remember? Last night?"
"Oh, yeah." Danny sighs. "Can you drive me?"
"Don't worry, I will."
"Jazz? What am I going to do, then?" Danny throws his arms up in the air. "I can't go ghost, I can't keep Amity Park safe!"
Jazz reaches over and puts her hand on his knee. "You can still use some of your ghost powers without going ghost, right? And Dad and Mum will be on high alert. I'm sure it will be fine." She pulls up outside of the school. "Well, here we are, then. Take this as well." She holds out a new Fenton Thermos. "As long as Technus doesn't get it."
Danny throws his arms around Jazz. "Thanks, sis." He then rushes off to school.
Jack jumps out of the back, much to Jazz's surprise. "I'll take it from here."
Sam fairly runs up to Danny. "Are you alright?"
"What, besides not being able to go ghost? I'm fine." Danny growls and digs into his pocket. He hands a Thermos to Sam.
"What's this for?" Sam asks.
"Well, if I do go ghost... then you have to suck me in it."
"Oh. That's... nice." Sam rolls her eyes. "I'll just have to remember those times when you ignored me, treated me like a girl, left me out. Why doesn't that feel so difficult?"
"Hey! How were we supposed to know Dora was a-"
"Just kidding, Clueless!" Sam ruffled Danny's hair, and pocketed the Thermos. "Let's go."
"What about me? Do I get a Thermos?" Tucker asks, following behind.
In class, Danny's ghost sense goes off. He straightens up.
"Can I be excused?" All three of them asked. Paulina narrowed her eyes.
"How come they always get to go?" She asked herself. But then she sighed, smiling in that dreamy way that made boys lay their heads on their desks and stare at her longingly. "Why am I thinking? I'm too busy being in love with Danny Phantom to think about those losers. So many boys, but only one, you."
Up on the roof was the Box Ghost. "What are you doing here?" Danny asked.
"I AM THE BOX GHOST! Without your ghostly powers, I will easily be able to overpower you – uh, not like I couldn't before!" Out of one of the vents floated some boxes.
"Those look like they came from the science department." Sam noted.
"Feel the powerful, evil, uh..."
"Unique?" Danny suggested.
"Unique powers of... uh... frogs from Axion Labs, half price, too!" The Box Ghost grinned, and out of the boxes came tons and tons of frogs.
Danny grabbed Tucker and Sam and went intangible. Sam came back looking even angrier than how she looked in the mornings. "They are still using frogs? How dare they waste such precious life?"
"Uh, Sam-" Danny pointed at the Box Ghost, who was looking very confused.
"Oh, right. Sorry!" Sam sucked him up in the Thermos. "But what about these guys, on the roof?" Sam picked up several of the frogs. "I have an idea. Danny, go ghost and-"
"Ahem?" Danny gestured to himself.
"Oh, yeah, sorry." Sam rolled her eyes, took a step forward and-
"Oh wow, this Non-Phantom Fenton Ghostshover may not work on Danny, but it still works on humans!"
Danny caught Tucker's arm before he could fall off, but the same could not be said of Sam.
"Sam! No!" Danny got on the side of the building. He looked to Tucker. "I'm sorry, Tuck."
"Danny! No!" Tucker grabbed his arm.
"Going Ghost!"
