Chapter 2: "Tension and Wing Kingdom"

The next day, Both Piper and Ryan were sitting on the couch watching "The Hunger Games" with Mordecai and Rigby.

Katniss(On t.v): "I volunteer! I volunteer as Tribute!"

"Ugh!" Rigby groaned, "This movie makes no sense! I mean, why is it in the future? and why would she volunteer as tribute? she could die! And why would they draft kids into a competition where they could die for the governments' entertainment! This movie's a pile."

Mordecai responded to Rigby's comment with a punch, as usual. Suddenly, Piper stood up and stretched "Let's do something else." She said,

Then, of all people, Muscle Man walked in, "Hey dudes." he said, "Hey Muscle Man." Mordecai, Rigby, and Ryan said all together, Piper just stood there and totally ignored Muscle Man. "Uh, Hello? New Chick?" Muscle Man sassed her, "You and your friend here are new and there's one rule around here and that is I get respect from the newbies." "Pfft! I will not take that!" Piper sassed back, "If anything, Me and Ryan should be the ones getting all the respect around here from YOU!"

"Pssst Piper, You really shouldn't mess with Muscle Man like that." Mordecai whispered, "Yeah, The last time we got someone new, he was tortured non stop." Rigby continued,

Piper sighed, "Alright, alright I'm sorry Muscle Man. It's just that, I don't know, I just feel that something's peculiar about this place." "Like, I have a reason to be here."

Mordecai stood up and put his arm around Piper's shoulder, "Well that's good!" "Come on, Let's go get some Wings!" Mordecai yelled throwing his wing up in the air,

"All right! Wing Kingdom!" Muscle Man yelled ripping his shirt off and whirling it around in the air, "Dudes, I'm like, totally going to get everyone else so we can all go together!" "Whoo! Whoo!" and with that, Muscle Man ran out of the house. "Does he do that often?" Piper asked, "Yeah." Mordecai said, "Everyday." Rigby added,

Ten Minutes later, Everyone had been gathered in front of the house getting ready to go to Wing Kingdom. "Ok, Everyone we're going in groups depending on how many seats are in each car." "You can pick who you want to drive, I don't care." said Benson, "Hey Mordecai, Rigby. Wanna Ride with us?" Ryan asked patting the hood of the truck as Piper leaned against it with her wings folded and smiling, "Yeah yuh!" They both yelled, and the two hustled into the back of the truck while Ryan and Piper calmly climbed into the front seat.

Piper looked at Ryan and said "Drive" With a devious smile, Then Ryan gave her a nod and stepped on the gas, Did a donut and they took off.

Halfway there, Piper spoke up and said, "How about some tunes?" turning a knob on his radio, The first song that came on was Piper's favorite, "Love the way you Lie" By Eminem himself.

Then Piper started rapping,

"Baby please come back! It wasn't you baby it was me! Maybe our relationship isn't as crazy as it seems! Maybe that's what happens when a tornado meets a volcano, All I know is I love to too much, to walk away though!"

Before they knew it, they got to Wing Kingdom. Piper stepped out of the truck and stood there waiting for the other three to come out.

They walked in and were reunited with the rest of the park gang. "Ok, Since we don't wanna end up in another seating fiasco like last time, I made seating arrangements for when we sit at our table."

"What!" Mordecai and Rigby said in unison, "What? No!" Piper yelled, "Ryan is my best friend, We always sit next to each other."

"Don't worry, I placed you two next to one another." said Benson, "All right!" Piper and Ryan said in unison giving each other a high five,

"Ryan you will have Mordecai on your left." Benson said, The two responded to that with a high five. "Piper, you'll have Thomas on your right." Benson said,

'Can't wait.' Piper thought sarcastically,

When they were seated and started eating, Piper was happy to sit next to Ryan but she wasn't too pleased to also be seated next to the park worker she hated most.

"So I said, That's not my landlord, that's my LAMBLORD!" Thomas laughed, 'Oh, Sweet Jesus!' Piper thought, 'This guy is the worst! he actually thinks that's funny?' "Wow, that's some joke." Piper said sarcastically, Piper leaned over to Ryan who was talking to Mordecai, "Remind me to stay as far away as possible from that guy." Piper told him pointing a thumb at Thomas,

"No problem." Ryan responded, and the two fist bumped. The rest of the meal went on pretty normal, up until Benson ate too many wings and got so crazy and loud they had to leave.

When they got back to the park, Piper went up to her and Ryan's room. She plopped face-down on her bed and fell asleep. A few hours later, she was finally woken up by Ryan opening the door and coming into their room because he was tired too. Piper then climbed out of bed and walked downstairs where she saw Mordecai and Rigby playing a video game.

"Piper, you're up." said Mordecai not even looking away from the screen, "Yeah, how long was I out for?" Piper asked, "About three hours." Rigby answered,

"Whoa, I slept a lot." Piper said amazed, "Yeah." Rigby said, Piper walked over to the couch and sat down in between them.

Piper watched as Mordecai and Rigby played Hoopjams 9000 for ten whole minutes and finally saw Rigby lose, "UGH!" Rigby yelled throwing the controller, "You beat me again!" "Hm! Hm! Of course you lost it's kind of your stick!" Mordecai said, "STOP TALKING!" yelled Rigby, Mordecai and Piper laughed, Just then, Benson walked in.

"Mordecai! Rigby! Why are you playing video games! Get to back to work or you're FIRED!" Benson yelled, "Benson, Our shift ended an hour ago." Mordecai explained, Benson's gumballs started to return to their normal color. "Oh Sorry, my mistake." Benson told them, And without another word, walked up the stairs to his office. Piper sighed and pulled out her phone, "Man your boss gets angry way too easily." Piper said, "He almost never yells at me."

"Lucky!" Mordecai yelled, "Yeah, he blows his top off at us everyday!" Rigby yelled, Suddenly, Ryan received a call from his phone upstairs and exhilaratingly ran down the stairs and yelled " Guys! Skate Park!" After that everyone decided to go see for themselves.
