Reviewers;
Dbzgtfan2004, Samsung318, and Senseye318: Thanks for the reviews!
Logan Locke: Yeah, Frozen, and winter blends together with the new year sooo...I counted it in my memory. My memory is not as great as remembering the exact date, only that I took my cousins to see it. The detail is thanks to reviewers who point it out to me and my continued work. Also, for me, Tone and Stroke really brought me to see the details in my writings and 'painting a picture.' The relationship makes sense because they have known each other compared to before where they didn't, so yes, I hope the plot works for it as well.
I'm glad you saw the restrain in the intimacy. Really, i just wanted to write, Sex in the ballroom! But there's no story then, so yeah, why not a pierce to the body using magic. To me, that's better than freezing a heart. Though the hair turning white, loved it! For powers, you're wrong, you'll see why in this chapter, but as for your ying/yang comment, that is what i am trying to do, light/dark, happy/sad...Naru/Saku. they all belong together...See what I did there? ;)
Duh Bomb: You been reading my stories lately, haven't you? ;) Can't wait for more.
7th demon of Razgriz: Well, I'll here now to give you something else to read.
PinkFox245: Aw really? You read them again? That makes me...hey, my heart just grew another size today.
NAFNAF509: That's my goal of course. To have you read and then realize, hey! I'm done?!
ILuvYouHaters: I'm okay with frozen, love elsa, and this idea really got me thinking.
Czar Joseph: Alright. Let's both read each other's stories, okay?
Keeper of Worlds: It is Fantasy, so anything can happen! Just you wait.
RukiaLover89: Glad you like it, Rukia.
AN1: Hello all...I hate you all so much...really...I post the first chapter...and you all review within a day! Seriously, for a writer who is in college, deadlines are pushed back, Not Up!
Anyways, sorry about the delayed premiere, turns out that when your laptop gets stolen, along with your backpack holding the backup, you have nothing. I got the laptop back, but the files were lost because the guy decided to use a magnet on my hard drive and stuff. So, in the past two weeks, I'm am rewriting all of my stories as fast and as frequent as possible. I got the first third of this story done and now post it For You All.
Anyways...I will be going on my spring break this week...before every other college it seems, weird. And so, I won't be posting for a week. this will ensure that I can stay at least 11 chapters ahead of you all for posting...that's right...11. This is my longer story for you. Enjoy.

Arc 1: Conceal It
Chapter 2: The Price of Life
"Momma! Papa!" A childish voice cried out in the middle of the night, and at once, guards broke conversation and rushed to defend the one female teen that had that particular voice. The King and Queen were near the ball room walking around the hallways happily in the other's arms, wearing the regal family colors of red and black.
At the sound of the scream, they, with their guards present, ran forward until they arrived in the vicinity of the ballroom doors. The doors pulsed with an icy blast and the King ordered the doors to be opened. As the knights around them touched the handles, their metallic gloves and gauntlets began to ice over, and the floor underneath them seeped like surging water, but the form was of moving ice.
The captain of the guard knew and felt the urgency of the situation and ran forward and kicked the doors open, and a layer of ice broke from the force of the kick and the ball room came into view. The King and Queen and all the guards present widened their eyes before them. Sakura's magic was nice and gentle, this magic before them...was not.
The icy floor had become rigid and filled with sharp points, and the walls' decorations were on golden fire, as banners and pictures smoked from the heat as well. The ice was flooding up the walls, freezing all in its path, as the windows cracked under the pressure and were soon to give in. And then around Sakura herself, a small blizzard of snow blew around her in a protective spiral. The Queen gasped at the teen in her daughter's arms, and knew that something was wrong; the servant never fell asleep at Sakura's side, and he was asleep now.
The breaking of the door had reached Sakura's ears and suddenly she turned her head to look in their direction. Her eyes were not emerald but a deep icy blue, but at seeing her parents in the group by the door, her eyes flashed between blue and green until the magic around her body slowly subsided and Sakura's eyes returned to their emerald color.
The King and Queen rushed forward, their guards closing the door behind them to hide the princess's magic from view. Only the night guards knew of Sakura's powers, as they had been rotated to be around when Sakura practiced with her servant, by order of the Queen.
Sakura sniffled as her mother hugged her tightly and her father felt the boy's throat for a pulse. The King sighed in relief. "He's alive, Sakura."
"What? But he-" Sakura began to speak when Naruto suddenly coughed and shivered. Sakura forgot everything and simply cried happily and hugged her lover, not that her parents knew that just yet, but as she did, she felt her magic shiver and instinctively knew that Naruto's life was still in danger.
Sakura turned to ask her parents what to do to find them in hushed argument, but Sakura could hear enough.
"They'll kill us for this….need to take him away…he needs to go..."
"Mother?" Sakura called out and the Queen turned and sighed tiredly, knowing their daughter knew something.
"Sakura, get the horses ready."
"Me too?" Sakura asked hopefully.
"...Yes. All of us."
"Hai!" Sakura exclaimed, and moved to get up when she felt a hand on her wrist and looked to see Naruto holding her there.
"Ntyrfltskcn…." Sakura bent down low to hear him better "….Not your fault, Sakura-Chan."
Sakura sniffled as tears rushed out and ran out the ballroom, and over to the servant's passageways. Naruto had taught her to go this way in the event of an emergency as enemy soldiers didn't know the way through them. Sakura exited the tunnel and arrived at the parapets of the inner wall above the main courtyard.
Sakura quickly ran down the stairs and soon arrived in the stables where three servants were just then cleaning them. At her hurried arrival, they rushed to bow to her and she mentally sighed. She hated to be bowed at, since she hated bowing as well.
"What is your command, My Lady?"
"Ready the Horses." Sakura rushed out of her mouth.
"At once." The servants called out and rushed to get the horses ready. Sakura saw a stone wall and leaned against it as to catch her breath. Sakura looked out at the full moon and grimaced. She loved full moons, but now she just wanted to cry alone, but Naruto needed her as she needed him.
Sakura winced as her finger caught on something, and she looked down to see a sapphire colored crystal wristband now attached to her wrist. But she didn't have one. Well... Naruto did, but- Sakura looked down at her wrist in wonder.
Even with all her commands when she was younger and even recently, Naruto never let her touch...This. When they were younger, she had put Naruto in time out because he wouldn't let her, and she would beat him up for not allowing her to do so. She was such a brat back then. But this symbolized his family. And if he was giving her this-
Sakura's tears came back full force and she fell to her feet and wept. Her knees became droplets of tears as she cried into them. She didn't know how long she cried, but she cried until the horses were ready and her mother draped Sakura's white winter coat around her daughter's shoulders. "Daughter, it will be okay."
"Mother! H-He gave me his b-br-bracelet! Sakura cried and her mother held the outstretched wrist in appreciation and ruffled her daughter's hair.
"He gave this to you?" The Queen asked and at Sakura's muffled nod, she smiled at her..."Then wear it with pride."
Sakura sniffled and nodded, her eyes still glazed in wet salty tears, but came up to her horse anyways. Sakura looked up to see Naruto on it already, but against the horse's neck. "Sakura," the King called out, "take care of him."
"Yes, Father." Sakura nodded and placed her foot in the stirrup, and hoisted herself behind Naruto, and held the reins, holding Naruto closer to her, and heard his mumbling about their kiss. Sakura blushed but smiled. Let him remember that, because it would be the first of many they would share. She promised to herself that little bit.
The King and Queen got on their own horses, and a group of forty knights surrounded them before they all headed to the closed gates. The gates opened silently and only the sound of hooves sounded on the stone pavement. The group moved quickly through the empty streets, its citizens unaware that the royals were in the main streets. Sakura looked around briefly to appreciate the city, as she always did when she was allowed outside the castle, but her main focus was the bracelet Naruto gave her. Did he think he would die? She couldn't allow that. She would order not to die while she was beside him. She would do anything to prevent it.
The group reached the outer walls of the city and the gates opened to receive them into the open country and soon the horses were in full gallop in the forest that surrounded Port Haruno. Sakura let some healing magic seep from her hand to Naruto's wound and he shivered and coughed, but luckily no blood came out this time.
After an hour of heavy gallop, the group had exited the forest and had entered the canyons, and had begun to turn around a corner that Sakura had not been told about, but as she turned the corner, the whole group stopped and began to get off their horses.
Sakura looked around them. Up ahead was a dead end. This couldn't be right. "Fath-"
"Sakura, get off the horse." Her mother instructed, and Sakura shut her mouth and got off before she saw the soldiers untying their swords and placing them in what appeared to be slots for their weapons. This is so weird, Sakura thought as she took out the large knife that was in her boots. Here they were in the middle of winter and now they were defenseless in the event of an attack.
"Sakura, come here."
Sakura walked forward, as some soldiers carried Naruto between them until Sakura reached her parent's side. Sakura looked at the blue glow around them and looked to the canyon walls to widen her eyes at the glowing symbol of a white circle with the blue plus sign inside it. Sakura looked to her parents, and they nodded.
They were in front of the Namikaze sealers. This was their sacred area, set aside from the territory of Port Haruno. Why were they here? Sure, sealers held a form of magic, but surely that couldn't save Naruto.
"Mom? Why are-" Sakura began to ask when her parents walked forward, heading for the dead end. "Mom!" Sakura cried out before her parents merged with the rock face itself and disappeared from view. Sakura stood there with her mouth open before the soldiers moved to walk forward and so did Sakura. Blind faith. That what she thought she hit the rock face.
"Sakura…open your eyes."
Sakura did so and gasped loudly to look around her indeed. Before her was no longer a dead end but instead, a flush valley of green grass, with a pond filling with a waterfall to the right side. And to the rest of the valley sprawled small tents that seemed like weird shacks, but Sakura knew better. Sealers could make tents seem as big as a nobleman's house. Deception was everywhere around her, because that's what sealing was. Deception.
At their entrance into the valley, a horn sounded, and Sakura gasped again as numerous people poured out onto the green grass. Sakura walked forward with her parents and watched as the people here bowed to them, even though they didn't need to.
They group stopped at the last tent along the row and waited there for something to occur. Sakura took this time to look around and saw that it was truly a group of distant family members. All the people had either a version of red or blond hair. Sakura even looked to see a few girls her age looking between her and Naruto and gossiping and a wave of jealousy hit her like a ton of bricks.
That's right. This must be Naruto's village, where girls could be with him and like him and kiss him all they wanted, and he could like them back. They were a family, full of love and ties that moved back hundreds of years, and they were all sealers of the highest caliber-
Sakura's eyes widened as she looked to Naruto. He had never told her his last name, but his blond hair matched everyone here. And if this was his family, then Naruto-….was a sealer. Sakura palmed her face, and let out a chortle. Of course her parents would allow Naruto to be her servant doing anything with her. He was a sealer! He was respected as much as royals and they respected sealers! They did not allow marriages outside the family, and that was why Naruto had refused her so much after the kissing. She didn't care though; she loved him. Wait Liked him…a lot….like love…Whatever! It wasn't like she wasn't meeting his parents anyways to confess that she loved their dying son.
The tent curtains fell away and Sakura gasped as her eyes admired the the absolutely beautiful red haired woman, who was on par with her own mother, stepped out of the tent, followed by a man that mirrored Naruto in his forties.
Sakura was ready for anything. Her parents nodding their heads in respect. The leaders of the Namikaze welcoming them right away. Even them being hostile to waking them in the middle of the night. What she did not ever expect was for her parents, the owners of the land itself, and the royals of Port Haruno, to Bow!
Sakura stood there blubbering like a goldfish out of water before her mother pulled her arm to the ground and Sakura bowed as well. This family must have been greatly helpful and respected by her parents to earn a royal bow.
"Welcome, Maki." The male spoke and Sakura's father, the king, rose and gripped his arm as the Namikaze gripped his own in a knight's gesture. Sakura had seen her father do that for the closest of his knights, but this was mind blowing.
"I wish it was welcome enough." Maki sighed and suddenly the woman gasped as Naruto was brought forward.
"Bring him inside." The woman said and at once, the curtains drew back on their own and Naruto was placed on the table of the main room. Sakura moved to stand by him when she saw the woman brush the boy's cheek.
"My son. What has happened to you?"
Sakura gasped for what had to be the twentieth time that night. Her son.
"Wait? Y-your son?"
"Yes, I am Kushina, and this is Minato, and Naruto is our son."
"But then…how?" Sakura asked as she looked to her parents who smiled at her.
"A Namikaze has always been at the side of a Haruno child since our alliance formed over three hundred years ago, my dear. Forever our protectors. Minato was my protector, just as Kushina was your mother's when she became my betrothed."
"Then…"
"Yes. We all agreed that our son would guard you and take care of you."
"Then...Please, s-save him."
"I would, but this is not simple magic." Minato sighed as he looked at Sakura and his eyes narrowed. He edged closer to her, and grabbed her hands, and pinched her skin, and Sakura watched as her magic flowed on autopilot to heal her.
"You have magic, my dear?"
"Y-yes."
"Born?"
"Y-yes."
"That will help." Minato called out and went to grab numerous books. An hour passed and Sakura stood next to the fire, for once cold in her life. She felt her mouth dry, and her tears frozen. She was on the verge of falling apart, but she refused to take her eyes off Naruto. That is, until his mother leaned next to her.
"My son talked about you a year ago."
"H-he did?"
"Called you the most beautiful girl in all of Port Haruno."
"I-I'm not-"
"That matters not to the girls of the family. Anything besides blonde and red is seen as weird, but pink, a mixture of the two? Most girls would curse you for that hair."
Sakura gulped in fear. Naruto's mother made her nervous. Kushina smiled.
"So…you find my boy favorable?"
If Sakura was sipping water, she would have gagged. What? She couldn't know, could she?
"You fancy my son, yes?"
"…Yes."
"...Your secret is safe and I would love it if you two could be together. The children of four best friends. That would be nice." Kushina smiled at Sakura and she smiled back. A slap of a fist on a table sounded in the room and they turned to see Minato sighed in defeat.
"What is it?"
"Sakura?"
"Yes?"
"Come here."
Sakura did so, and Minato turned to face her. "There is a way to heal Naruto-"
"Then do it!" Sakura exclaimed.
"Hold on, dearest princess. If I do in fact heal him, I must extract the magic that you attacked him with, but…to ensure he does not die, I must erase his memories."
Sakura's head spun and she was suddenly dizzy. "…What? All of them?"
"Anything that has to do with magic, yes."
"But-…" Sakura looked down at Naruto's pained face, "that's all our times together. We'll nothing to remember."
"They will reshape to form memories for him, but it is needed to save his life."
"...Can't I do anything?"
"You can tell him the situation." Minato spoke before Sakura stepped to Naruto's side. Minato placed up a seal and the parents of the two of them disappeared and the world turned white. Only the table remained, and Naruto opened his eyes, and Sakura let out her tears.
Sakura hugged Naruto deeply, even getting on the table to lie on top of him. Naruto winced, and Sakura looked to him in worry.
"No, nothing hurts." Naruto lied.
"Naruto...I-"
"I know what needs to be done. I could hear everything."
"I don't want to lose you, but your memories-"
"Are memories, Sakura. There are things more important. I will always be at your side, and in this way, I can."
"But- we just kissed!" Sakura cried and kissed Naruto briefly and he kissed back. After a few moments, they parted and Sakura cried onto Naruto's body. He so nicely stroked her cheeks with his thumbs.
"Now you know that I love you."
"You-l-love me?"
"Yes."
"I love you."
"That makes me so happy." Naruto's eyes twinkled. "So…I will fall for you once more."
"You'd better."
"If this fails-"
"Don't!" Sakura argued back and kissed Naruto with a deep passion. Tongues swirled over the other, and Sakura moaned into Naruto's mouth. There are said to be five great anime kisses of all time on one's deathbed. This one was so much more than that.
"Oh My!" A voice called out, and Sakura broke the kiss to look around her. Her parents were visible and they stared at her in complete surprise. Sakura looked back down and blushed. She lay in a very sexual position and she was kissing a mere servant, though a sealer acting as a servant.
Sakura coughed and kissed Naruto on the forehead, before she got off and walked to her mother's side, fidgeting with her sweater and winter coat. She felt warm again, and now she wanted to simply be at Naruto's side, be His servant, serve Him, and lust clouded her thoughts when she thought about it. As soon as he got his memory back, she'd do just that.
Minato placed a few seals on Naruto's body and then gripped his son's shoulders before chanting some words that sounded foreign to Sakura, but whatever was happening, it was good, because Naruto's skin brightened and his mouth opened as her deadly mixture of ice, fire, and healing magic exited his mouth in a purplish haze, before dissipating.
"There. He will live."
"Good." Sakura sighed for a second before smiling. "So! What seals do you need to know so that we can heal his memories? Sakura asked aloud, happy until she saw Naruto's parents' sad expressions. "...What?"
"My dear, for this procedure to continue to work, Naruto cannot regain his memories."
"But, he's better! The magic left him! I saw it!"
"Most of the magic left him, but some of it has moved to his heart. If he regains his memory, child, then he will most likely die."
"But...you can save him, can't you?"
"One of a hundred times, he might live, but we can't risk that. He cannot see that you have magic at all, Sakura."
"But-" Sakura's voice broke and looked to Naruto's sleeping form, "...Naruto loves to see my magic."
"For the life he now has, he cannot know. But maybe you can improve for the future."
"What?"
"Sakura, sit with us by the fire."
Sakura nodded as she sat down with her parents on one side and the Namikaze on the other. "Sakura, did something inside you snap when you and Naruto were playing around?"
"Yes!" Sakura rushed out. "And then I saw four of everything, and Naruto was slowed down."
"That is because you have reached the age that your powers are growing substantially."
"You mean I have more power than I do now?"
"Much more, my dear, but this power is dangerous as we have seen. You must control it quickly or else it will control you."
"But...what if I hurt someone again? I-I can't-" Sakura looked down and shivered in voluntarily, as if scared of seeing that magical claws around her fingers once more.
"We'll keep you safe Sakura." Yuki Haruno assured her. "Practice in your room during the day. More practice."
"But-" Sakura looked at her hands. Hours ago, they were covered in blood. What if she lost control? What if she killed someone? She had killed Naruto, the one she knew! Now she-
A hand covered hers and she looked at her father, who smiled at her.
"The surge is only starting, but you can control it."
"Which part?" Sakura spurted out. "The Ice? Fire? Healing?" Sakura asked, before she saw Minato's face wrinkle in confusion. "What?"
"You think the green magic is healing?"
"Yeah."
"No, it is not. All of your powers, child are one powers, with many functions. You have a very special power, Sakura. That power is the ability of Life.
"Life?" Sakura scoffed. Surely, this was all sweet talk. Fire kills everything.
"And brings rebirth once it is gone."
But Ice cuts up and freezes things in place.
"Ice holds things in balance, with heavy support within itself. Your green magic is the result of the rebirth that can occur from these two parts. Learn to use your magic, and you will be adored, and loved."
"Control it, don't let it control you."
