AN: This long-term and on-going project will involve me writing an actual textbook titled "A Compendium of the History and Use of Magics Ritual". This project is mostly an exercise in exploring the nature of magic within the HP universe as I understand it. If nothing else, I plan on using this as a reference in order to keep my ideas straight as I work on my other fanfic, "Harry Potter and the Magic of Rituals".

Please keep in mind that this "story" will be more of a living document as I work through writing my other stories.
